The location directly on the Traunsee with a view of the Traunstein, the very friendly welcome, the beautiful restaurant with large windows to the lake take the guest from the beginning.
The menu is explained by the range of ingredients, the aperitif, a fresh crémant, we take on the great terrace. The menu sequence is seasonal with vegetables from the region, fish from Lake Traun and a magnificent Maibock.
Chef Lukas Nagl takes care of the guests himself and, for example, hands out sweets for coffee. Of course, the patron also welcomes and rounds off the hospitality in this wonderful house perfectly.
Earned hood and fork for the best cuisine in Upper Austria and a charming house.

Great ambience, right on the lake. In the evening enjoy dreamlike sunset while eating, the 4 course menu was very cosic at a great price-performance ratio. The extensive breakfast is largely regional and leaves nothing to be desired. All in all highly recommended.

Super great hotel, rarely encountered such a super friendly polite staff, perfect location with top view on lake and traunstein, great bathing area with jetty and loungers! Clean room, on which I attach great importance! Delicious breakfast with everything your heart desires. On the whole, there is nothing to complain about at all, except that I very much lack the air conditioning in the room. At 34 degrees it is unbearable for me in the room.

After almost 30 minutes, there is still no service on the terrace. We (and other potential guests) left. Apparently only for hotel guests.

The most beautiful hotel — sauna in the hotel. Perfect temperature and direct view of the lake … and after the infusion a wonderful dip in the water.

Very friendly staff. Our room with a lake view was a dream. An extensive breakfast with fish and a wide selection was a delight. Great location.

Unbeatable from the outside, this hotel offers everything that makes for a well-being holiday. Spacious rooms with a view of the Traunsee — we even had access directly from the room. Delicious cuisine, a buffet breakfast of the finest. Just a dream!

Hotel room design is novel, comfortable, spacious, with terrace, views of the lake is very beautiful, the free Breakfast buffet was a surprise.

Recently had a wonderful vacation at this splendid hotel with my husband, kid and dog. Very welcome traditional atmosphere mixed up with stylish fleur, delicious breakfast and lunch and the best location make this hotel one of my favorite. Will definitely recommend it for my friends for romantic getaway as well as for friends with kids and my parents. Hope next time I will have more time to visit hotel spa) )

The hotel rooms are extraordinary and cover all needs (e. G. Incl. Backpack, yoga-mat, umbrella, etc. ). The outside guest area is fantastic with very relaxing music, sun beds and great service. All of that comes at a significant price tag, but our rating is: great value for money! Thank you — Danke schön!

Unfortunately, there is no more service for guests who do not book a room there, neither food nor a boat mooring facility. Although there are hardly any guests because all the beds and tables are empty. Either the hotel is not open in March/April or there are no more rooms available. Thanks, but no more reliable because I prefer to drive where you appreciate guests!

The location is wonderful and the view from every room is a sensation.
The rooms have spacious, but at least the double the flour as well as the wellness area in years. Also, the sauna was broken, what ours has been very disappointing.
Wi-Fi is incredibly slow with 1, 13 MB download.
The "Boathouse" and "Stubn" dining rooms are very inviting, unfortunately, always something was missing at the breakfast buffet. The staff was always ready, did work however and spread therefore hustle and bustle.
At the reception, we were kindly received, but not asked our impressions upon departure — there the views not good much can do.

Happy and always we are at Seehotel das Traunsee. The location directly on the Lake, relax on the dock and recharge my batteries in record time the fantastic cuisine. Great team and nice host.

The owner is a great guy, fun to be with. The food and service is really good. I must say the incredable views added something special to the whole experience.

Great location, nice atmosphere, good range, but on two visits two times with the service pitch had: Although little was going on, it took forever until we could order and otherwise a lot has not changed. Sorry, but if you want people to come back, you may them did not convey, that she should be happy that they are served at all.
