A beautiful Platzerl on lake Traunsee with a wonderful terrace and a view of Gmunden. Good food, great wine cellar, friendly service. Best value for money.

Dream location directly at Traunsee! Father and son run the house with a lot of commitment and in a very sympathetic way! The principle here is: no problem! Very good restaurant with beautiful views over the lake! In addition to the hotel there is also a very nice little water skiing school!

Nice place with amazing staff. The food in the restaurant is incredibly good, and the location is amazing, directly on the lake. The furniture in the rooms is a little outdated but everything else makes up for this.

Disappointing to say the least. Served by the owner himself but apparently there's not much room for friendliness. The meal pork filet with asparagus and potatoes was destroyed by too much candied breadcrumbs (the only taste left in your mouth) and both the pork and asparagus were slightly undercooked. Difficult to eat too as the cutlery was blunt… perhaps thats why there are only 3 stars on the wall. the fantastic view on the lakeside is about all you can really enjoy, but the same view can be had from other inns locally. Sad. I would have expected more…

Great family run hotel. The staff will leave you with every wish from your eyes. You can only recommend the delicious food. Taste experience with great Austrian cuisine. And directly on the lake, it also has a fantastic location. Take a look.

In my opinion the most beautiful guest garden at the Traunsee. Food is very good, staff is always friendly. In the summer, in good weather, unfortunately, there is hardly a parking lot, so you have to live. But who can blame one, that is not the fault of the inn, but rather the situation owed. I can't say much about the rooms. Have already seen this, but have never slept there.

Excellent. Finally great Vegan food in UberÖsterreich. We went here a few times with a large group — everyone loved their meals. Food and service were too quality. It was actually the only restaurant in the area where I could get great Vegan food.

Visited a dumpling cooking class, was great. A total of 9 different variants were cooked this evening with a very funny cook Sandra. There are also great events here and you can also enjoy your meals in nice weather on a beautiful terrace.

Super friendly and fast service, high quality and good food — simply a super family business! The rooms for the nights are well kept, cozy and very clean — we like to come back every year!

The senior boss was very rude to our group, we did not get the promised reserved place. When we said to whom we reserved, he promptly said, "The lady did not take the competence reservations. " One of our group replied: "It is not fair, we have reserved the place and he was promised us, we even called extra". Then he said in a loud voice: "It is also not fair that we have to work on Sunday and it is not fair that we have to cancel because of you reservations". Then we asked, "Whether you had an air-conditioned room. " He replied, "We are not so rich. " (I personally do not think because they also have seminars but only conjecture) And the best statement at the end: if it doesn't suit you, then… no good host!

Nice restaurant and super friendly staff. Ate a delicious Wiener Schnitzel here.

Friendly service. Great view of the lake. Good food. Only the host (at least I think that was the more powerful gentleman of the landlord) could be a little nicer to his paying restaurant guests. We had a table on the wall and the evening sun shone on us until the awning was taken out on request by only one guest, of about 20 people sitting there. So it was abruptly very cool and dark. Although there was enough table in the shade, and the Lord who had expressed the wish to revise it again, came from the innkeeper on my request to retract the awning an absolutely unfriendly and belehrendes "No! Now the awning is out! ".
Landlord: "So you might be able to talk to your employees if they behave poorly, but I felt as a paying guest a bit in front of my head and therefore will never visit your place again! "

At the foot of my favourite mountain, a great 'Wirtshaus' hotel with a well known chef specializing in traditional Austrian fare with a focus on the humble dumpling (Knoedel). Heaven.

A combination of good cuisine, nice staff and great views of the Traunsee.

Delicious food, portable prices, friendly staff, clean cutlery, hot plate when serving and a great panorama view make this a top favorite in the surroundings of Lake Traun.
