The White Horse Inn is located directly in the village centre. Had a room with wonderful views.
Great décor, comfy beds, nice bathroom.
The boat mooring and the Schafbergbahn are about a 10-minute walk away.
Great breakfast (with a view), superb dinner.
The spa area and the pool facilities (indoor, outdoor and whirlpool) are really nice.

It is a hotel with a very good view and atmosphere. Impressed from the moment I walked into the room😍 If there is a chance to go again 😍

Wonderful hotel, fabulous! Staff prepared and very kind. You have the feeling of being in a "family" environment and this makes your stay unforgettable! Quiet and spacious rooms. Great restaurant. Spectacular views from the hotel and the beautiful heated swimming pool in the lake. In this romantic place you totally forget about stress! I stayed for 4 days but would have stayed there for another 15! Coming back is a must!

The food in the restaurant is way too overpriced and the waiters are very rude! This food can be easily cooked at home!

I would not only recommend it, I would say that this hotel is a MUST for you that are looking for a great hotel in the area! Comfortable and large double bed, fantastic views and location, warm up swimming pool that is right inside the lake! Perfect for a morning swim before breakfast! I truly enjoy my time at this wonderful hotel!

The breakfast staff is very attentive, friendly and fulfills all requests unsolicited. Special thanks to Stephanie. The massages, brilliant and very relaxing. The girls of the pool bar are also very accommodating and always with a smile on the way, even in strong sun / heat. Even the domestic worker spreads a good mood. A perfect holiday for our wedding day. Big thank you!

Toilet modern but "contaminated". Service was slow and made you realize that one wanted to serve rather "more expensive" guests, although enough was free. Food was excellent. Both visually and tastefully.

Beautiful hotel on Lake Wolfgang. A hotel that leaves almost nothing to be desired. What I found a bit of a pity was that I was not treated very nicely by a waiter in the lake side. This clouded my mood for an evening, but otherwise it is a great hotel with excellent restaurants. The KaiserTerrasse was a highlight!

We spent 8 exceptional days in this iconic hotel of a musical. The rooms are spacious. Half-board meals are very good. The hotel offered us the birthday cake. In the price is included tickets for tourist attractions (boat tour, Schaffberg …) On the other hand, watch out for time. We came in September and had to buy sweaters. The floating pool on the lake heated to 30 degrees is a real pleasure, like the hot tub. The hotel prose closed car parks for a fee. We have a very pleasant memory of this stay.

One should think that the "White Horse Inn" is extremely expensive and detached. That is not the case. 2 pieces of cake, 1 Wiener Mellange, 1 coffee for under 15€, we now do NOT find really extremely expensive. There are other hotels that are more expensive. Staff very friendly and attentive. Toilets also more than clean. Not to pay for the view of the lake.

The whole family enjoyed the stay in the hotel. Special feature: Heated invinity pool IN the lake. It's just AMAZING to swim in the heated pool and look at the breathtaking mountain scenery.

Everything great. Service very friendly and accommodating, Rooms very clean and maintained. Polite Staff and food on the Imperial Terrace is unparalleled. Keep coming here. The picturesque Landscape completes the Picture.

Central location in the middle of St. Wolfgang, Traditional hotel with a lot of history and celebrity through film and music, Very friendly and courteous staff, food excellent quality, spa area right by the lake with pool in the lake as well as hot tub! Absolute highlight! Highly recommended.

Not the special place I expected. Very very disappointed not to be able to eat there. One of the reasons for going there was a special occasion. Staff polite but it all seemed superficial.

We were just out for dinner on the terrace, the food was good. The upper could be a little friendlier. But otherwise everything Ok.

Absolutely fabulous stay for 11 days at the end of April 2018. The staff was so helpful and friendly and the facilities excellent. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.

A hotel as you wish, on arrival is welcomed. The food here is great, as well as the breakfast. Well there are also cheaper hotels in the area, but for us everything needs to fit. That's why we've been there 5x.

A nice day at the Wolfgangsee, the food was great. And actually not too overpriced at all.

Restaurant unfortunately very very disappointing, soup tastes just more glutamate, salad dressing barely even absent and the char dry and old. Actually for such a well-known house.
PS. : Tap water costs 1, €60 pps. : We weren't brave enough to try the desert.

Excellent place, very comfortable, clean, and service level. In particular, the Spa and jacuzzi that are outside with views of the beautiful landscape around. The only thing that I don't recommend are the treatments of the Spa & Beauty. The rest is perfect.

Indescribable! For those who need relaxation, there is a great lift. Very nice staff, great food, beautiful well kept rooms and a gorgeous scenery. I didn't let it take me and made some pictures out of the air for you. I myself have accompanied a bridal couple to the wedding.

The White Horse Inn is a house with style in combination with Austrian charm. Above all, it also offers a lot of space for small children, their own play areas and crayons at the table to paint the Placeset. Absolutely suitable for young families. We stayed in a family room.

My daughter and I stayed here The heated outdoor pool situated on the frozen lake as the snow was coming down was an incredible eYou xperience. The staff were always friendly and professional staff and the best spa facilities I’ve ever stayed at. Swimming in the outdoor pool while the snow was coming down Harvey.

It is a magnificent hotel! The outdoor pool is a floating swimming pool, the whole Spa area is phenomenal-highly recommended. Ideal for a couple and rest of the village in a and the and or is located is very nice with its small shops and restaurants. ❤

Heavenly Place. Everything is done in the quality, the desire to do well and all this in an idyllic setting.

Great find! If you like swimming, walking, cycling, gym, touch of lux and a good food, you've probably come to the right place. Hotel is not lux in a Hilton sort of way, more comfortable in an Austrian sort of way. Lake front bathing and lounging are top (more weather dependent this side of the Alps). Lake is great for distance swimming 20c (July), and deep 20m. Bike hire + Electric bikes seems to come free with your stay, couple of good routes are worth exploring, just ask at the rental shop. Worth mentioning Hotel Spa etc are very good (Sauna overlooks the Lake). Breakfast and half broad Dining very solid, we mixed it up with some local restaurants in the evening (lighter dining! ). Hotel has a gourmet restaurant which we thought looked a bit old school (we didn't investigate by dining) + had Michelin prices without the stars. Little Hotel shop is also worth investigating, it's full of hotel goodies (the Hazelnut Spread is divine! ).

Spectacular place, very good kitchen, high prices compared to the portions but it pays off with the place is the panorama, sweets excellent and at fair prices.

We had the best stay of our lives at this beautiful hotel in June 2016 for our wedding. We used both the apartment and a hotel room. Beautiful decor, excellent caring staff and the facilities are amazing! We used the spa area and pool in the lake numerous times. The food is absolutely delicious too. Our wedding cake was stunning. We were given some lovely gifts upon departure. We were very thankful for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

The White Horse Hotel is a gem of the Wolfgang Town. In 1896 Oskar Blumenthal and Gustav Kadelburg two young men created a light comedy in the name of the White Horse Hotel, depicting the hotel hostess and her foreman and the doctor's romantic love. 1930 Benaski (Benatzky), after the soundtrack, made it a success in Berlin, London and Broadway performances. Since then, "The White Horse Hotel Wolfgang Lake" to make the world know the romantic Wolfgang Lake. It was also argued that the White Horse Hotel in the town was only built in 1978. Whether the plot from the hotel, or the hotel borrowed in the plot, has not been important. The important thing is the result. Tourists are pouring in to find romance between the mountains.

Not for the ' place ' or the restaurant which are wonderful but for treatment. Arrived at the restaurant through an organized tour, the treatment as Italian tourists, was very poor. They prepared a separate table and as a table service, last, many of the group had already finished eating… That the Italians are not well seen I understand, but they can not make all the grass a bundle. And as a kitchen nothing special, out you eat better.

Large, bright, clean apartment with everything you need for a living. Starting from spoons and pans and finishing with vacuum cleaner). There is a closed area with a small beach on the lake. The beach is equipped with sun loungers and a trampoline for children and adults. From this beach to the main building of the hotel is a motorboat, which can be called directly from the beach from 10 to 18 hours. You can go for a ride on a water ski or a small electric boat in the neighbourhood.

Nice ambience, good service. Rooms are fine, spa area is expansive. Great breakfast.

We were in the Weisses Rössl at the Romantik restaurant Kaiserterassen. Short and brief, everything was excellent, super service, first-class cuisine and incredibly friendly and competent staff. Thank you very much! Price — performance is right.

Well established upscale hotel in classic Austrian village.

Despite significant consumption, € 1.60 (! ) was asked for a glass of tap water for our daughter.

On the 8.3.2016, I wanted to redeem these vouchers by telephone at the white Rössel in St. Wolfgang. The dates would be may or End of may have been. They had been 4 days with at total — and the day of departure.
l. T. Telephone conversation with Ms. Maria Kuna, could we the vouchers at the weekend not redeem. Just under a week, this not at once. We travel to the vouchers would have to solve a 2 x to could. The whole thing with a tone, that leaves one who Hahn to mountains. Well I thought and researched. My research I came on it that you can redeem the vouchers very well at once & this everything even to the weekend. I work in a service sector. I wouldn't trust me.

I have been here a few times and I can say it's the best place I have ever stayed at. It has an amazing atmosphere, very friendly staff, excellent food and exceptional, spectacular views. And I can't wait to go again.

A very nice and family friendly Hotel. Attentive Staff. Nice Interaction. Nice Spa on the lake. Eat Delicious Food. We feel very comfortable here. Necessarily the Felsenkeller visit and a delicious wine to enjoy.

Beautiful Hotel — one of my favorite hotels — unfortunately fluctuates the staff, greatly improving the quality of the Service part greatly to be desired that some people are excellent. My kids love it — that's why we come at least once a year.

Very nice place to spent your honey moons. The staff was very professional and location of the hostel just fantastic. Maybe just the food we had here for breakfast could ber better.

I have twice lived there, and often there with friends eaten (outside of a Pizzeria only little Alternatives). The food is good, the room is in order. The waiters and the service staff is but almost as uncomfortable and unfriendly. Since then also helps the beautiful resort and the great views just limited…
