Superb outlook to the glaciers.

Have the weekend despite rather bad weather conditions (was the beginning of summer), very enjoyed with you.

Very disappointed that you refuse to give us our 30 percent deposit back despite you being closed due to covid 19.
We had booking with 8 other accommodation providers who did the right thing and refunded any deposits we had paid.
You stated that legally you can hold on to our money however morally it is not the right thing to do.

The food was not good and completely overpriced. The staff speaks only poor or no German. Of course, the operation of this dream-like setting, that is why a self-runner. Elsewhere, the Local baden would go.

Amazing location but we had better service and better food not far from the lodge. I'd suggest to book a hotel or lodge nearby if you want to visit the area. The breakfast was exceptionally poor in choice — there were no eggs whatsoever, the juice offered was terrible and there was no proper vegetarian option. When we checked in we asked specifically what time do they serve dinner until and we were to told 19:30. We went in around 19:10 and we were told that they can't serve any hot meals, only salads because they kitchen was already closed… We asked in case we revisit will they be able to provide some variety in vegetarian meals — we were told "we can't change the menu cause everyone eats pork around here". I have no comment to that.

Very nice get away. I went at the end of August and there was a snow storm so there was not anyone staying there. It was nice to have a quiet night at the lodge to relax. Only wish I could have got a little discount because there was no one there even though all the reservation sites said it was almost full. Regardless, enjoyed my stay.

Best place in Dachstein. Good food. Best view and lot of attractions. The staff speaks German, English and Czech.

Stayed here with family of 8 people travelling around Europe. Family room with shared bathroom was small but cozy. Great host and services! Super friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Good views but pretty cold in June. Beware of fog in the morning if you are going to 5fingers view point. Also, you can only get to the lodge with cable car!

Great stop on the Dachsteinüberquerung! Beer about a 5er, great burger, stunning views. Nicely decorated, not over the top or cheesy. Good atmosphere. Decent, quiet music in the background. Blankets for outside. Staff really friendly and up for a chat during less busy times.

One of the best places we've stayed. Super clean, amazing views and just a mindblowing experience. The lodge is located about 200ish metres away from the main Gondola. We went up the Gondola one-way (19EUR) and snowboarded down the 11km run to get to the bottom (the hosts put our belongings down the gondola to meet us at the main terminal for free). They also provided us with free snow shoes so we got to see the fantastic view at 5 fingers. The food service is super fast and delicious – the Goulash is fantastic! Everything was just perfect. Thank you for such a great stay — we'll be back in the near future for-sure!

Our stay was so magical that I am struggling to find superlatives to describe it. The views were spectacular, hosts friendly, food great and our room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed walking around the property after the chairlifts stopped (so peaceful) and loved that fact that we could be first going down the mountain in the morning. Thanks guys for this unforgettable experience.

Enjoy the stunning moutain view. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Clean, cozy, comfortable, great place to stay. Der original lodge burger is awesome. I will definitely come back to stay at this place again if I have a chance to visit Obertraun.

Went there for a coffee break. It was fantastic. The staff hospitality is moderate, but the sweets they offer are unique and tasty. With the mountains view, a break in the terrace is something you must enjoy before taking the ride downhill.

Great place to be and to enjoy a drink or one of the tasty dishes. Even bedrooms are available to enjoy the stay outside the tourist rush hour and get a feeling for the freedom on the mountain.

A good place to take a rest and a beer in the sun.

Spectacular views, cozy rooms, incredibly friendly staff, well priced meals of generous portions. Highly recommend the goulash and strudel + lodge schnapps.

View is just fantastic. The way from the cable car to the lodge is thank not too long and the snow is fixed as there are also ski slopes. We had no problems with normal hiking shoes. But the wind is very strong up there, so take a jacket and scarf with you.

The sun terrace is very nice and also the service really nice.
However, since the lodge is now the most expensive economy in the Krippenstein/Dachstein West area, it is no longer recommended.

We didn't have food but what we saw looked good. This is positioned well for a nice drink after a walk atop the mountains.

Great food and view, acceptable price. CZECH BEER, I loved it. But it is a self service and not in english.
