Reviews of JUFA Hotel Planneralm
I booked Hideaway Planneralm operated by JUFA Hotels during the Formula 1 weekend in Spielberg through Booking. Com. The listing clearly showed the accommodation as being only 100 meters from the Red Bull Ring – supposedly a 1-minute walk. I even have a screenshot proving this was displayed when I booked.
However, upon arrival, I discovered the property was actually over 1 hour and 40 minutes away from the Red Bull Ring! This is completely false advertising and totally unacceptable.
To make matters worse, no self check-in instructions were provided, and there was nobody available to help at night. After hours of travel, we were left stranded with no support from the property.
This was one of the worst booking experiences I’ve ever had. The location listing is deceptive, customer service is nonexistent, and the entire experience felt like a scam.
Avoid this place at all costs — there are plenty of honest hotels closer to Spielberg that won’t mislead you.
(I’ll attach a photo showing the false “100m from Red Bull Ring” claim for proof. )
Incredible stay — extremely friendly staff. We stayed with my family, everyone was extremely happy with the amenities. Breakfast was delicious and the views were absolutely incredible. I really appreciated the kids cutlery/plates and the kids chairs.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and quality service.
The location is excellent, especially for ski lovers, as the hotel is very close to the ski slopes. It made getting to and from the slopes incredibly easy and stress-free.
The food was absolutely perfect – fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every meal exceeded my expectations, and there was a great variety to choose from.
What truly made the experience special was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
