Hotels in Salzburg with a Pool

This is not a ski-in ski-out property as advertised which was very disappointing. The shuttle service to the Kogel gondola runs early morning and late afternoon only, however it beats walking.

Great hotel! Room was really spacious, clean, equipped with coffee machine and full kitchen, easy parking and a good enough breakfast.

As a family of four we had a great time spending 4 days in Wiesenegg. Most of all the staff are all so upbeat and helpful. The kids loved it. They helped us recollect a bag we left in another hotel.

Outstanding food with great variety and quality.
— Extremely friendly and welcoming staff at both the reception and restaurant.
— Fantastic natural bio pool.
— Large, secure bike storage.

We ate fantastic. The girls in the service are extremely friendly and accommodating. Thank you very much🥰

Super nettes Personal 👍🏻 tolle Location.

Not just designed, but "lived": A hotel that understands the true meaning of family holiday. We stayed here for our ski holiday in Jan 2026.

We've been three times and already planning our fourth. Each visit it just gets better and better! Amazing location for family trip. Ski-in / ski-out. So much to do with children of all ages.

Just returned from a week’s holiday in Hinterglemm. The hotel was fantastic in a great position, close to the lifts and the town centre. Very friendly staff, great food and we would certainly return!

The weather outside was about — 9°, and as soon as we entered the Salzburg Hotel; it was instantly very warm. The reception's atmosphere was very warm and comfortable!

We've booked a room in the new part of hotel and it was very nice. Modern and clean. Very good breakfast. Great rooftop infinity pool with amazing mountain view.

Very good hotel in the best location;very friendly welcome, the staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating; the host family is very friendly and you feel very, very comfortable from the

We had a truly wonderful stay at Sonnhof by Vitus Winkler and loved every single moment.
The spa is incredibly cosy and relaxing – the perfect place to unwind and really switch off.

The food was worth the journey and the luxurious accommodation topped it. 🥰
The story telling for the cooking and dinner experience was amazing. We loved the view and the food.

Overall a very nice hotel, the pool is also amazing. Although the location is decent. I would stay here again the next time I come here!

I can say only the best. Staff is awesome and super friendly, food delicious.

Absolutely stunning hotel in a postcard location. Staff were attentive, effective and just lovely. The rooms were large, well-organized and impeccably cleaned.

Lovely hotel, we liked the design. Our hotel room had a nice view, was clean and had everything we needed (apart from free flip flops which should definitely be provided in a wellness hotel).

I want to thank Sylvia for her kindness and helpfulness. Our two dogs got attacked by two unleashed dogs.

If your looking for a family focused active/spa retreat, this one is excellent… Plenty of kids running around, with child care included, the food was very very good (and included) with kids food or

Haus Hirt is one of those hotels that you want to tell everyone about, while at the same time keeping it a secret. The views are amazing, the spa is professional and the food was a revelation.

My wife and I were looking for quiet accommodation outside the "mass mainstream", using it for relaxation after a day of skiing. We got more than we expected.

Really nice restaurant & hotel with beautiful views.
Restaurant is cozy and romantic. Service is friendly and professional.
Menu offers a lot of possibilities. Meats are the especiality.

My second year of staying at this outstanding family owned and superbly managed luxury hotel in Bad Hofgastein. The Salfitzky family deliver a remarkable experience for clients.

This was our third visit to this truly fantastic hotel. We return each year to the area for the great and varied skiing but we always choose this hotel because of the exceptional service and value.

We have stayed in many Austrian Hotels This is one of the best…Food amazing, Staff and owners all so friendly and attentive…Wellness area superb! Don’t look anywhere else…This place is a little Gem!

Very friendly staff and extremely attentive!

Fantastic hotel. Wonderfully situated. The staff is delightful, the rooms are beautiful, and the food at their restaurant is delicious. We will be staying there the again the next time we visit.

A true alpine gem – beautiful, spacious, and modern rooms with every comfort, amazing breakfast, Spa and a warm personal welcome from the owner. Surrounded by breathtaking nature – pure paradise!

Giving this place a 4.7 feels like a crime. The castle is rich in history, the meals are very well curated.

We only visited the restaurant, we always dine there on our way back from Tyrol, the food is excellent, location is equally so — set in a beautiful castle, tastefully decorated with a good mix of

The hotel is wonderful, beautiful property, comfortable, home from home, team are friendly and attentive and are a credit to the hotel.
Food was outstanding and the facilities top class.

Hotel is great!
It’s our second time coming here and we absolutely love it.
Rooms are clean and spacious and food is 95% of the time really good.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It is truly a great choice for families. The gaming lounge has something for everyone, and there are nightly movies.

Hotel is great. Super well located, very comfortable, incredible for kids with the pool and the game room as well as for adults. Food is amazing, very complete and different buffet everyday!

This was my first experience in this hotel and I must tell you that this was the best hotel in Austria that I’ve ever been.

I returned to Hotel Römerhof with my family after staying there as a solo traveller 7 years ago. We had a lovely holiday, and the staff could not have been more helpful.

We had a wonderful short break in this family-run hotel and can only recommend it! The warm hospitality impressed us from the first moment and we immediately felt at home.

We had a wonderful week at the Hotel Kathrin in Grossarl. The stay was simply fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the start.

Simply, this elegant mountain lodge escape was wunderschön. We loved the mountain escape especially during the cold and rainy weather, which made the spa a magical experience.

Perfect from start to finish, we were made to feel very welcome but not smothered.

I would give the place 6⭐. We've been in 3 hotels (this one, Montana and Hanneshof) — all perfect, but we like this one the most.

Before heading to Belgrade, we made a stop at the beautiful Rosewood Schloss Fuschl and had lunch there — such a lovely experience.

We had the most amazing time here. It’s a slice of heaven. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The spa and pool area was very relaxing with incredible views of the lake.

Our family recently spent six wonderful nights at Harmls Aparthotel Flachau this June, and the entire experience was incredible.

Wonderful stay at Harmls Aparthotel! The rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
