Tasteful. Restaurant, great atmosphere, good food. Star deduction for no water to the wine, only upon request. Also no milk/sugar for coffee. In such a restaurant such a thing should actually be automatic. You shouldn't have to ask for it as a guest.

OMG! The internet photos do not give this place justice… first class service and a very quick walk into the city. WELL worth the price and the dinner was fantastic. Overlooking Salzburg and then finished off with a great cigar outside with a good whiskey… priceless!

I had Lunch here with my Wife and Son and we enjoyed this afternoon enormously. Great Service and Food Presentation that was only surpassed by the breathtaking view of Salzburg’s Old town. I be back.

Rewarding as a wedding location! Top organized and freshly renovated. I see a tiny potential for optimisation with a few menu courses, but this is a personal matter of taste.

This place is perfect in every way. We ate dinner in the restaurant after a long trek from the fortress. Landed here just at sunset and had a drink at the bar before deciding to stay for a meal. The staff was very kind and helpful, the food was some of the best we've ever had, and the views were spectacular. Come here to treat yourself if you're ever in Salzburg.

How often do you travel to Europe, or particularly Salzburg? If the answer is often — maybe you find something more economical. If it is your first, and perhaps only trip to Salzburg… staying anywhere else is a mistake IMO. Spend the extra $$ per night and live like a king for a few days, the room, the hotel grounds/view, the food (which we ate for Room Service once and Dinner another night), the experience you get using the "lift" that allows a short walk to most main attractions… cant imagine a better place to stay for a trip to Salzburg. I will not argue it is cheap. But plan ahead, save on the Flight and spend on the Hotel.

but a few things need to get corrected … 1) their seating on the outer terrace with an umbrella to see the viewing as the whether is 10 degrees with warm fire in the early evening around and after 8 pm upto midnite
2) air-conditioning in the room does not work after paying 200 euros per nite they don't have technician thier front office asst came and opened the window for us
3) their is no water in the room on ur table whether billed or complimentary that is not the aspect I am attempting to highlight Do u think that's value for money!

Had such a magical stay — the staff are outstanding and cannot do enough for you from start to finish every aspect was amazing — so Samantha, Christina, Nicholas & Catarina thank you all for being the best at what you do — you're kindness & attention to detail was exceptional! Had a truly magical and luxurious stay, from the welcome with the glass of champagne to the wonderful staff. Had a great breakfast with an incredible view of Salzburg from their dining room and patio.
