We stayed for a night in the romantic hotel and had booked the wedding suite.
The suite is very spacious and furnished with great attention to detail. However, this positive impression was greatly clouded by a terrible night in the waterbed.
One has constantly slipped with one's head to the metal grille at the head end as the upper body was deeper than the legs. The entire mattress gave the impression of a mountain and valley railway. Even when it was unused, the mattress made a very hilly impression. Either the mattress was badly ventilated or the tile is totally glued.
I am a long-time waterbed sleeper, but the one that gets completely wheeled in the morning and gets up with back pain happened to me for the first time. I really expect a better place to sleep, waterbed back and forth for the price.
The non-functioning TV in the bedroom and the broken minibar are almost only small things against it.
Great praise for the spa area, very relaxing and also the very short-term booked massage was great.

We also had dinner in the evening in our own restaurant. The food was mediocre and did not correspond to a 4 star restaurant. By a Backhendl I mean half a Hendl with bone and skin with rescher Panade. Instead, I got a chicken schnitzel with a cardboard pumpkin seed panade. The decoration salad on the plates was completely gammish, because apparently already done hours before. You simply can't offer something like that to a guest anymore. The chef tries to do justice to the 4 stars with original ideas, but in the execution and decoration it goes into the pants.
All in all certainly a very nice in the country style arranged hotel with very nice staff but for the many small and big deceptions I have to pull off stars.
