Beautiful Hotel with a beautiful romantic tower sauna. Very nice staff and a great kitchen. If you do in the Horn stops, you should definitely take a look in the Öhlknechthof. So I'll be back soon.

Yesterday we spent a delightful evening with our Relatives. After we asked for a quiet table, we were more surprised than we were led to a beautifully laid table in the Tower wine bar. The service staff was very friendly and fulfilled every wish. Also the food is highly recommended. Particularly good is the goat cheese salad and the Mohnparfait as a Dessert have tasted in the us. The rooms of the hotel are very nicely decorated. You will feel very comfortable here. The Highlight of our short visit to the Breakfast buffet. The Buffet leaves nothing to be desired, I've rarely seen such a huge selection. You have advised us to be very aware of the fact that you can enjoy the Breakfast buffet also, if you are not a hotel guest. The offer we are going to take on our next visit to relatives in any case. We are looking forward to come back soon.

Great Hotel, the desire for a bath in the room was met upon our arrival immediately. We even got a free Upgrade to the tower Suite. The tower terrace is really worth seeing. The staff is very friendly and dinner in the Restaurant should not be missed. I am always very careful when we go out to eat, because I have a very sensitive stomach, and cook bought. In this kitchen, each dish is a delight. You realize that only with fresh products. We spent three wonderful days here and every night is great eaten. The Breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. As we wanted to spontaneously explore the area the staff were very helpful and concerned for us, E-Bikes. Every wish was fulfilled. Holidays should be to feel good. Definitely a recommendation! If there were 6 stars, I would give 6 stars. Thank you for the nice time in the Öhlknechthof.

On the 27th of 8 we wanted to visit the Öhlknechthof in Horn for two. At first we were still quite confident, as we were greeted quite nicely, but this changed seconds later when we learned that our reservation simply did not exist. We were assured by phone that we had a reservation, but we were lucky and still got a table.
After waiting 20 minutes, by chance the service staff came to our attention and took the drinks order. This also came, after a ETWAS longer waiting time. After 1-2 test loops, I realized that I didn't get any apricot juice, ordered by me, but elderberry juice.
After another good 20 minutes and asking for the card we received this one, which did not match the one on the Internet. After waiting again, our order was accepted.
Now to the joke of the whole thing: it would not have been so that there would not be a waiter nearby, but even better. Our cellar woman was at the LEEREN side table and covered it beautifully and took more than enough time for it.
Just before our food came we also got cutlery on the table, which on the one hand was dirty and was additionally uncovered incorrectly.
Then our food was served, where you could say better trembling and being banged on the table and of course not from the right which is actually one of the highest rules of serving.
Then came the side table and the ignorance towards us rose.

Unfortunately, the quality of the kitchen has deteriorated quite sharply, not even a baked veal carving came with crispy panier — something of letchert and tasteless — with every Heurigen create a better kitchen, from an oil-knechthof I expect far more, service personnel were not trained forces — the soup came with spills — the salad marinade was distributed at all on the floor — these were some relatives of the new boss, who probably practiced as waiters. So really — I can still understand or understand staff shortages, but one should think that the kinship service has at least one feeling, if no brain.
We don't go there any time soon — We, that's 4 people and ex-guests who were more than dissatisfied!

Eat very well. But if you only have an hour's lunch break, it's going to be tight. Until you get the menu and pay. But it was shortly after the opening maybe it works better now.

We were there today for the girls' breakfast! Just wonderful. Thanks to Bettina, we were cared for and personally cared for from the very first minute! Have made us feel very comfortable.

Friendly and well-informed staff. Food very good. Liver beautiful pink, nothing overseasoned, tartar flavorful top. Breakfast buffet of everything something and plentiful. Rooms nicely decorated. With me with a great terrace overlooking the courtyard.

Excellent cuisine in a nice ambiance. The sound level was a little too high because of a birthday party — room acoustics. Otherwise only positive.

My food was edible but certainly nothing special, my accompaniment was a catastrophe and had to be returned twice (fish was raw and cold inside and despite repeated note that no onion is desired, the side dish was brought with onion each time, respectively. Saw it even after extra-much onion out) … I wanted to run my escort in a somewhat "better" or "more upscale" restaurant, a Kebap or a live cheese roll would certainly have been the better choice. This was my 3rd attempt in Öhlknechthof well and relaxed to eat, every time kahm it to very rough blunders. It will certainly not come to any 4th attempt, thank you — never again!

Food was taste good, unfortunately max. Still lukewarm. We unfortunately had to wait 15 min until even a waiter came to our order. The soup was served very quickly, unfortunately we had to wait for the main course 40 min and that even though we had ordered the daily menu. There were also not so many guests present that would explain the waiting times. Also above average long waiting times when paying. 5 stars for the cook or the cook, unfortunately lack of service something.

Very good, seasonally inspired and exquisite cuisine, extra wishes will be gladly considered. Courteous, nice and polite staff. Waiting times all right. Ambiance chic and pleasant, due to good arrangement of tables. All-round recommend!

We were now already several times in the Öhlknechthof, because it is the only Restaurant with a little atmosphere is far and wide. So you can have a nice sit. The food is unimaginative, as everywhere in the forest area. Is the village. The waiters are very nice. As long as there is no Alternative, we will likely come back.

A Restaurant with very good food. Unfortunately, although not a lot of an hour was waiting for the food (appetizers). Then 7 main dishes, all served at the same time. We would like to have eaten at the birthday party at the same time. Sure would be a waiting time have been possible to send either a greeting from the kitchen, or at least at the same time to eat (grandma was already hungry, and this already several times made known). The quality of the food, Location and friendliness from the Service would have easily achieved 5 stars.

Located in the middle of the Horn. Very friendly staff. Nice garden and very good food. The rooms are clean and sufficiently large. Good Breakfast buffet, everything what the heart desires. Always happy, thumbs up.
