The rooms are relatively newly equipped and clean. The storage space could be slightly larger. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, especially pastries, is rather average.

Be sure to go back to this hotel. A great place for those who travel by car.

Positive:
The hotel is directly opposite the excavation site and has plenty of private parking.
Our room was not particularly large, but sufficient for the few days. Besides, it was always very Sauber.
The breakfast buffet offers choice for all tastes, both sweet and spikantes were to be found and were regularly checked and replenished.
The staff are very friendly and anxious. We felt comfortable and will probably choose the Hotel Marc Aurel again when we are back in the area.

The bathroom was very small, but also very clean.
We really struggled to achieve a constant temperature and reasonable water pressure when showering.
The closet was very small for 3 people.

Very friendly, helpful and competent. Food and wine excellent, at the Roman dinner please be really hungry and have time, the spices and the composition exclusive and interesting. Were as a group with 20 people there, it worked out wonderfully.

Just money thrown out the window. The hotel was just pathetic. The staff are all unkind. The food is simply inhumane, that almost all of them went to bed hungry in our classes. Two of the beds simply broke in at night for no reason, leaving students to sleep on the ground. I gave off the conclusions at the reception in the morning and wanted to pick them up again in the evening, but I got a very aggressive place of face: "Why do you give over the conclusions?!. "
Verdict: Should have slept on the streets.

Only the reservation was not very easy, by phone, by mail again and again and confirm again so that it really fits. And if you do not arrive until 6pm, the reserved room will continue to be awarded unless you provide a credit card number.
Staff tries to weak (bad German or Austrian — language skills, trying to claim my side failed) Hotel 3 stars, the main thing and most importantly, that the "slit eyes" are operated. When the locals come to breakfast (7am) It looks like on a battlefield (the Japsaner, Tschinetzen and co have left their underground poor gourmet — decency free). These do not even pay the normal price, they are organized over various facilities, stay one night, cause the most costs and this people does not know any rest periods. Main thing the hotel is busy. If you want to pay the room (booked and consumed 2 nights with breakfast) on the eve, do not, because you can only pay after breakfast. The reception and the restaurant are at the same time served by one person.
Vending machine is available with various drinks. Among other things, Budweiser cans, expiry date: 3.4.2018, date of day: 25.4.2018 second breakfast, again the breakfast room with East Asians fully occupied, no further comment.

Neat n peaceful here. Not bad :) But, • Barely 2 peeps can use the elevator • No refrigerator ※ Impossible to get an extra pillow at late night; Sat. The pillow that I used was too low n quite uncomfortable. Yeah, I was sensitive after a long-distance flight tho. The employee kept sayin that all rooms are occupied n they don't have extra pillow. Had descended over the Christmas holidays in this exquisite hotel and can only confirm the best. The service could be improved a bit. Excellent food, friendly people otherwise.

I can't say anything about the hotel itself, coincidentally have been there to eat.
The soup with homemade meat strudel and especially the Gansl is a dream.
