Ferienappartement Pircher-Maes Hotel

It is 8 km to the A13 motorway. The nearest train station is 5 minutes' walk away and offers direct connections to Innsbruck.

Reviews of Ferienappartement Pircher-Maes
We stayed in the Bergblick apartment for a week at the end of October, catching the autumn sun while also being able to enjoy the snow at the top of the Stubai glacier. The apartment's location in Telfes is ideal for day trips down to Innsbruck and surrounds as well as up the valley for hiking or skiing. It's peaceful in the village, not as busy as higher up the valley. The apartment itself is immaculately kept and fully equipped for self-catering. It's a pleasure to come home to after a day's activities and just relax. Our hostess, Carole, was really friendly and helpful with tips for things to do and where to get fresh milk, eggs and vegetables. We highly recommend this apartment!

Completely redone to nine, deco beautiful, quiet, lovely, very well fitted kitchen, short but good! The apartment is really big and can easily stay four people without stepping on toes. The nice garden to have meals, offers a splendid view. Bed linen and towels provided and washed at the request.
Carole, the very friendly owner, speaks very good french, and her home is spotless and warm. She spends the time it takes to give tips, advice and information on where to visit. She knows its region on the tip of your fingers.

My husband and I stayed at the Pircher-Maes apartment for one month this past winter. Carole Pircher-Maes the owner was extremely helpful, friendly and dedicated to making our stay memorable. She introduced us to the delights of the small town of Telfes such as early morning fresh bread delivery, local farmer markets and many of the other amenities close by. The apartment is a short walk to the ski buses and the train to Innsbruck and numerous winter walking paths. Fulpmes, the closest town near by with shops is a twenty minute walk. It has several restaurants we frequented often during our stay. Carole is a wonderful energetic host ensuring the facilities are very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We were made to feel a part of the community including watching horses and sheep herding through town and chatting with the friendly neighbors and children as they were walking to school. The views of the mountains and valley are spectacular. Not only were we impressed by the skiing at the Stubai Glacier and Schlick 2000, but we also had a chance to XC ski and hike on some of the Winter trails. This apartment would be a great base for Summer hiking and cycling as well. This was a truly awesome Austrian experience. Peter and Lorna, Ottawa Canada.
