The 2000 m² spa area of the Activehotel Bergkönig features an indoor pool, a panoramic bio sauna, a Turkish steam bath, a relaxation room with water beds and Finnish sauna, and a Kneipp fountain. An indoor pool, an outdoor infinity brine bath with panoramic views of the Stubai Glacier, a big sauna area with biosauna, turkish steam bath, a finnish sauna, a Kneipp bath and a sauna garden as well as various showers and relaxation rooms and a fireplace lounge are available at the property. The hotel’s exquisite gourmet cuisine pampers you with Tyrolean specialities and refined wines. If half-board is booked coffee and cake is available in the afternoon. In winter the Stubai Valley’s ski slopes and cross-country ski runs are in the immediate vicinity. In summer the beautiful surroundings of Activehotel Bergkönig are ideal for hiking and mountain biking (free mountain bike and hiking pole rental at the hotel). From late May to mid-October, the Stubai Super Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts, including free use of local cable cars and public transport in the valley and to Innsbruck.

➜ We spent our honeymoon here and booked the Mountain Suite Twelvefor 10 nights.
Pluses:
— modern/upscale décor of the room
— pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant
— large wellness area
— Outdoor sauna & brine pool are highly recommended
— table decorated during the whole stay due to our marriage (very attentive)
— Complaints were taken seriously and promptly rectified
— Terrace very stylish
— Quality & taste of the food both breakfast and dinner top
— very diverse range of cosmetics & massages
— super fast & always friendly service
Negatives:
— it took 3 days to repair the steam sauna and in addition it was forgotten to turn on in one day
— despite the advance notice of the extended spa evening until 10 p. M. The interior sauns were out from 8 p. M.
— the cleaning staff should become more attentive (e. G. Drunk champagne glasses were only removed after 3 days in the room after request)
— Laundry service is not recommended. We still got wet clothes that smelled musty after one-time wear
— at the afternoon buffet 15.00 — 17.00 o'clock partly 15.30 o'clock already the half of the offer was empty and was not refilled
There are no small things to do with the full 4-star experience and we can still recommend it to everyone. The staff put a lot of effort into it and you feel comfortable.
Great food, fabulous spa, cosy atmosphere.
