Very dignified, cosy hotel and extremely friendly service, great panoramic pool, good parking.

Clearly the Hotel is old, but that makes the charm. Creaking Stairs, old chests as an institution, pictures from the past … yet also very modern and clean. Nice bathroom, 1A Spa, a small fitness area with technogym equipment and views over the rooftops of Lienz, friendly staff. Simple Breakfast, but everything is on offer (salmon, cold meats, div. Eggs dishes, cakes, fruits, spreads, juices, etc. ). Very large rooms! Only the Wi-Fi is most of the time, hardly usable …

Nice and comfy family owned hotel situated in the center of Lienz. Rooms are clean and spacious. Authentic ambient of the hotel, professional and helpful staff. Pool area and saunas on the last floor are just breathtaking. Parking is free of charge. Overall nice romantic hotel.

Not a bad hotel. But many trifles do not vote for this price. The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. Conclusion, the hotel room is worth about 80 euros per night.

At the summer it gets really hot in higher floor. Our room was 30+ celsius all the time.

This is family owned hotel is in the heart of Lienz right on the main square. It's the salmon colored building in my pics below. The room is modern, and large with a large bathroom and very large closets and a fridge, there is an elevator as well. Parking is in a private parking lots across the street at the back of the hotel. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet is at a gourmet level. Lots of choice and everything was delicious. HIghly recommended.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the room was nice and clean. The shower was great, very hot water and strong pressure. Only downside to our room was poor ventilation, opening windows only, but it was to an area where ppl were smoking. Overall still a nice place to stay.

Rooms on fifth floor are simply too warm in the summer. There's no airconditioning. Otherwise great place.

Stunning location, in the middle of the central square.
High level staff (and the front desk girls are very polite and very very nice).
Large well appointed rooms, very good climate comfort.
Very nice rooftop pool with stunning views and heated water (well, maybe I would have preferred a few degrees more temperature, but I'm used to the thermal water …).
I did not dine in the tavern because they offer Italian, and in Austria I prefer the Austrian.
Would def recommend.

Goods there on new year's Eve. Hotel is very comfortable as well as the small quiet town of Lienz. Rooms are very clean and the staff very friendly. Only the dinner was a disappointment every day, because on the dessert was nothing particularly good and tasty. Value for money is too expensive for this rather rustic rather than luxury hotel.

As always, I did not dine in the tavern because Monday night is interrupted, a safe destination a well-equipped wellness area.
