Super, we were there without booking, modern spacious rooms, good kitchen, very friendly staff, on the next tour fohr I back hi.

A wonderful hotel. Super freindly, efficient, multilingual staff. Enormous, spotless rooms, recently renovated. Hot shower, reliable Wi-Fi and bicycle storage. Great chef, tasty vegetarian dinners and meaningful breakfasts. Close to everything. Reasonably priced too. I really enjoyed staying in Lienz because of the Golden Fish.

I'm talking about restaurant. Worst schnitzel ever (bad experience. Frozen fries without any taste. Old and a bit dirty inside. Never again.

The best classic Austrian restaurant within a star hotel with unbelievable service, quantity and quality of food. I would rate this as our best experience as some being vegetarian in our group. A visit without this place would be a sad miss when in Lienz. Danke!

Had a very nice Room, nice Style and not worn out, even the bathroom was beautiful. Whole hotel was very well maintained, Staff competent and friendly, Breakfast selection quite good, Spa and Dinner I can not judge.

Very helpful Staff We took different dishes and all very good, if I have to give a tip take the deer stew that is tender and yummy. To finish We also ate an apple strudel also this delicious. The room is simple and clean and little chaotic. To come back.

We were at the Grandhotel in Lienz last Weekend. There, the Kitchen is being renovated and was therefore closed. The Golden Fish restaurant was very close and so we tried to eat there. Failed! In an extremely unfriendly Way we were left after we had asked for a Table for 2 People just standing in the Entrance area and gave us in Passing to understand that there was no Place for us. 70% of the Tables were not occupied, but one will have known why one did not work in a solution-oriented way for a Guest. Beginner error!
We are then to the Church Landlord, were greeted very kindly, treated as a Guest and the Food was excellent. Take an Example from the Church Host!

First Class restaurant. While it's not a Student Pub, you get something for your Money. Friendly and clean. Reserve a Seat for Safety. It can also get tight for 2 People. Then you have to eat at the Bar. In Summer, it may be a little better through the Guest Garden.

With the new Equipment, the Hotel is one of the most beautiful I have visited so far. Again and again like to be a Guest on Site. Super friendly Staff. Easy Top.

I went to the restaurant and it was perfect, the food is real Austria food.

We came to eat here after a day spent walking in these wonderful mountains. We ate out under a horse chestnut, fast service, also speak Italian, very kind.

Good food, fleet operation, moderate prices, so it must be.

A great Hotel! Ambience and rooms are very nice, Breakfast buffet and evening menu is rich and varied (although I would have me for Breakfast instead of pre-packaged jam, prefer a dollop of homemade jam your choice, if it goes on for hygienic reasons…). The historic centre of the city, which really has everything to offer, it is just 2 minutes walk. The biggest Plus is the friendly and courteous staff! (One is not used as a Viennese way. )

Real Hammer! Which leads me to this recommendation (my First ever) animated, is the noticeably competent, very friendly and attentive staff, as well as the truly delicious cuisine. — in a nutshell. Now the (/my) longer Version: I'm actually in transit with my bike, and on the search for an accommodation. Only through the recommendation of a friendly local police officer, I am the Fischwirt landed. — Thank you! The large car Park is for Passing, not accessible, because these are protected behind the building. (First Plus), The rooms here are clean, and in my opinion relatively large. And they have a wooden Shoe horn in the room! (Helpful for so schuhbindefaule bags like me) As already mentioned above; the food here is divine! Although I have already seen such a good cuisine enjoyed it, only I was in such treat used, portions to get, the most as an Appetizer could serve, in addition, a small eternity to wait. The Fischwirt in Lienz, there is not stingy. Decent portions, very tasty dishes, an extensive menu, and the Whole promptly to the table. The staff: I am very friendly at the reception have been received, and, after I expressed have, in the evening in the city are going to want so as Tips get. Good. Tasty food. Quick service. Had the Haus Pfanne, pork medallions rolled in speck (dry smoked bacon), mixed mushroom sauce an Spätzle.

Reliability, professionalism, attention to detail and cleanliness.
Service well higher than the category.
The restaurant is also noteworthy: eyes and taste buds fully satisfied.

Staff is always in a good mood, food is very good. In particular the Hauspfanderl and home plate are super!
The rooms are comfortably furnished. Sauna and gym free of charge.

Excellent food; normal resturant prices but very high quality.
