We had a great extended weekend in the mountains at this hotel. Great food and a nice time with animation for the kids.

The location is great! The rooms were very clean and the food was very good, but the dinner was Excellent.

Beautifully located in Fendels, the ski slope in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are clean, small and well-kept. The staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is very good and plentiful, the dinner offers regional cuisine and is excellently prepared. The swimming pool serves its purpose. A ski cellar is available for the skis.

Nice hotel, good facilities, friendly people and good food. Close to the slopes of Fendels ski area and ski rental is next door. Going from the hotel to Serfhaus takes some time (approx 30min)

Great hotel that provides for everything a skier nerds: a sauna, swimming pool and a basement for the kids to play in. Also there is a storage for your skis/snowboards and the ski area is only 200 meters away, which is perfect for a family with children. Allround a great family hotel for a skiing trip.

Great accommodation for those who want to go on the slopes. Rich breakfast buffet and very balanced dinner. Always happy to be back.

The location is top. However the service and food are really flawed. The sevice makes you feel like you're on the run. Breakfast is like being in a good hostel. All very dearly done. Rather mass instead of class. It has nothing to do with four stars. For the price is not at all.

Since 1997 a good address. Very child-friendly and balanced.

A wonderful place for families and skiing.
The top ski school is really recommended.

The hotel is located right next to the ski lift. Rooms clean and rustic. At breakfast, I missed the orange juice, and the selection could be more varied, too. If anyone else still has to use the hotel's landline phone, I would be warned about 88 cents a minute. Even for the loan of a bathrobe, a €10 fee is not required. Swimming pool and wellness of the hotel size appropriate but only open from 1600 until 2000.

Nice stay for families and some one likes biking and hiking. Good and tasty food.

No Wi-Fi in the room. Only Wi-Fi in the main lobby. Receptionist is often absent. Instruction paper is in German eventhough she knows that we don't know German. Hotel is good for family because they have facilities for kids, but they don't have enough staff to take care of those facilities. Restaurant and room service staffs are very friendly but receptionists are not friendly at all.

Clean, friendly and comfortable. Great for vacation with kids. Nice breakfast and wonderful salad bar with dinner. The rest of dinner is rather cafeteria level. Includes indoor pool.

Apart from the fantastic location of the Hotel is, at best, quite nice. But no more. And some of it was then but strange. So there is W-LAN only in the "public domain", so in the Restaurant and at the reception. No W-LAN in the rooms? I did about 10 years ago for the last time experienced. In summertime it's a perfect place to stay: kind staff, beautifull rooms, very nice diner, guided walks in the mountains, swimming in the lake, very friendly kids animation,. Everything was perfect! Thanks again for the SUPER holiday in the summer of 2013 :-D.

Beautiful small ski area, but not quite guaranteed snow. O. K. But prices for families we liked it and are the second time there. The hotel offers many services and is very suitable for families. Food was excellent. Way to go:-D.

I have just read a review translated from German into English. I went to Fendels last year, I have booked again this year. For British people, Fendels is a difficult place to get to. There is public transport, the last stage being by ski lift, but most people arrive by car. I recognise the place being described in the previous review by Andreas Hernitscheck. For me the most important thing, is the fantastic location for skiing. It is possible to walk to the ski lifts and then after having a meal, spend the evening in the Wellness Centre. I noticed the drinks were expensive and that they were trying to sell them. This hotel is not near any shops, so you might think there is no alternative. However we were quite happy to drink the tap water (from the taps in the hotel room). As for the meals, most of the meals were provided on a help yourself basis. So that meant that you could eat as much as you wanted. We found that the breakfast and an evening meal were enough. I once woke up rather early and when I tried to enter the lobby and I found that I could not. I thought that was rather unusual, that they separated the sleeping quarters and the lobby during the night. I was also surprised that same table was reserved for us for every meal. Overall it was a slightly unusual experience and my first introduction to skiing. The hotel advertises itself as child friendly and it is in a quiet village. It is rather different and possibly not for everyone. The scenery is fantastic.

A really neat hotel, where hardly what is agenda. Very nice lobby area. Mainly staff. Child care. An excellent wellness area. The swimming pool is too small to get something and could offer more for children — for example. A slide or water games. The rooms are clean and have a modern television, where many stations can be found. For me, the reception quality was very bad but (noise). The bathroom is clean but the shower be stingy with water. As SOAP, hotel is a small bag, not again "filled up". It clouds the shower pleasure. The breakfast can be seen. But unfortunately we gegeizt here with drinks. Generally, it is clear that the hotel wants to make money with the drinks. For a 0 75 bottle water to require approximately 4 euros, I think dreisst. If the stay would cost 20 euros more but the drinks cheaper, I'd drink a lot more and probably more money have left. But I think me back — it's not fun, what to order. The drink menu is not automatically brought to dinner, only on request — why think? Bottled water or even tap water does not exist (I don't know me about the Austrian practice, but in Germany it would be already disallowed what believe what as a coercion and I). The dinner is just enough in its fullness. Who's plenty hungry, should not save with the salad. The cocktails will be like more alcohol in it. A Pina Colada with 4cl rum is more juice than cocktail in my opinion. More rum is there only with extra charge.

Located on approximately 1 400 m (snow chains duty) in the absolute TOP location 400 meters walk to the single chairlift from Fendels, therefore very good. The receptionist was friendly, but at the restaurant we had always a "bad" look when that "children disturb personal impression", specifically the "Ober waiter" had once children have been louder (which does not fit into a family hotel). Signs for children dominated the lobby, warm milk (for babies) and ice cream for the children for dessert (if it was not explicit on the map) also a ball was add €1 per serving. Calculated (also not proper for a family hotel). Apple juice for children costs as lunch more Apple Juice + water is calculated (in the evening, it is available as a Spritzer, for lunch you have to take probably 2 drinks). I lack the understanding of this procedure. The staff apologized for that you must: — (do it).

We were the third time in the hotel in Fendels. The two first holidays we were still excited, but what we now have experienced is worth maximum 3 stars or less. The cleanliness in the room is a disaster! Dirt was not eliminated these from his predecessor — and even after complaint the next day. For his money, can and should expect more! Food was good, breakfast but forever right. Close to slopes and conditions were great — but this does not outweigh unfortunately the schlöechten service. What a pity! Time was a really great hotel.

The hotel in itself is not bad and very well located not long have routes/trips up skiing. The ski slopes and the ski school is 5 minutes on foot to his series and if you have no great demands of the difficulty quite sufficient. The breakfast was monotonous, Rabbie. It's a ride worth in the hotel again. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. Our child is always satisfied with child care. The food is fine and the rooms are sufficient.

It can only recommend the Erlebnishotel of Fendels. Our two children were thrilled. Their supervisor Diana has always something great with you painted, made, or rehearsed great dances. The staff was super friendly, wish you were immediately with friendly smile met. Also Florian to the registration was always with tips and good proposals for us. The Goldkart for 39 is recommended, 00 € saves a lot of money. The rooms were cleaned daily and filled with fresh towels. The food was very good and varied you could choose from 3 main dishes. Twice a week, there was a theme buffet. For children, there were special children's menus and juice free. Standard rooms with 26-28 sqm o. K. With two children we will book a suite next time, have a separate bedroom and are larger. It was a great relaxing holiday for us for the kids anyway the price / performance ratio was super hopefully it stays that way.
