Riverside Cabin Park

We booked and paid for a Deluxe Family Cabin, and it was anything but deluxe. The only thing “deluxe” about it was an extra set of bunks, certainly not the cleanliness, maintenance, or overall standard.
The cabin was dirty on arrival. There were someone else’s dirty socks left in the bathroom cupboard, which immediately set the tone. The entire cabin floor was filthy. I wiped it with a towel and it came away black. The shower was dirty and mouldy, clearly not properly cleaned between guests.
Basic safety and maintenance were also lacking. The TV remote had no back on it, leaving the batteries exposed, not ideal when staying with a toddler who could easily access them. The range hood light didn’t work, the kitchen curtain was broken, and overall the cabin felt poorly maintained.
The pool area had no shade at all, despite visible anchor points for shade sails. In warm weather, this made the pool almost unusable for families with young children.
Other basics were missing too. There were no tissues and no face washers, which you would expect as a minimum in a “deluxe” cabin.
On top of this, there was a shop alarm going off at ridiculous hours, disrupting sleep, and an abusive, loud neighbouring guest, with no apparent management intervention.
For the price paid, this stay was completely unacceptable. The standard does not match the description, and we left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

This place is pretty good all round I've stayed here with a big group of family's on two separate occasions.
Friendly staff they are accommodating they looked after use.

Absolutely love this accommodation. Wonderful people. Easy going and very understanding is an issue arose.
Love love love for smallish groups travelling. Close to Plaza shopping too.

We had a lovely stay for the weekend. Close by to Riverside Mall. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. I stayed in the deluxe family villa, it was spacious enough for my family of 5. Very neat and tidy. Will definitely be staying here again. Can’t fault anything!

Great place and friendly staff. We got a great room right across from the pool.

Booked a cabin and family all came down sick with flu and covid called to ask to put a hold on the accommodation and was not empathetic at all was happy for us to come and spread covid in her park however we were not well enough to even get in the car. No offer of coming another time which we wanted to and no offer of return of funds I understand there is a policy but what happened to customer service especially in this time of cost of living crises and the fact that we will be coming to Shepparton again however will be choose to go here again.

I booked the accommodation cabin 17 It was not clean found bins are full not a clean cabin, hair on the bed and front door lock hard to lock overall bad experience so I wont recommend Anyone to stay there.

Air conditioning not heating, very noisy from traffic, handy to supermarket and shopping.

Very clean amenities, convenient location and friendly staff.

Really convenient location on the way in to Shepparton. Cabins are nicely fitted out, although no tissues in our cabin, and the fridge strangely has nowhere to stand up bottles or cans. Some basic coffee and tea on offer, and plenty of kitchen essentials. Our bed was firm but nice and very warm. Split-system air-con was great. Easy parking, a nice swimming pool and BBQ facilities also on site. Small TV but hey, can't complain.

I was running late the reception hours. My dad informed them that I was running and they were happy to leave the key for the cabin out. The cabin was nicely presented on arrival.

Close to plaza and river, car wash, take away. Very clean, great service, coin washing machine and dryer, dryer works exceptionally well. Swimming pool was amazing. BBQ area well presented.

Absolutely recommend great accommodation the units are lovely friendly people great owners great facilities very peaceful and a safe well lit place all round great location and at a great price highly recommend to all.

Lovely women in reception helped us with laundry, room was excellent and clean.
Best of all was the pool so cold and refreshing one of the best pools I have ever been in.

Staff were great and this place is so relaxing. It’s peaceful and clean and they have all the kitchen stuff you need in the cabins. BBQ area is undercover for rainy days.

I have no idea why anyone would stay there. Stuck between the noisy main road in and out of town and the massive wall of the shopping centre. So unless you plan to go shopping for several days, avoid this place.
Just rows of cabins on what could be a car park. And don't get fooled by the name, there is a big fence blocking access to the river.
As someone else said, it looks like a cabin storage or sales yard.

I thought this was a sales yard for cabin homes and was shocked to find out it was actually where we were booked in to stay. It was on the main drag right next to Riverside shopping centre so our view was a massive Harvey Norman sign. The beds were the worst beds we’ve ever slept on and I mean the worst. I can’t imagine anything harder other than sleeping on concrete. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Actually I would go out of my way to tell people NOT to stay there.
