Sherbourne Terrace Hotel

What first made us come back to Sherbourne was the service. The staff made us feel comfortable and well looked after which is why we’ve ended up visiting more often.
Chacha is always very friendly and helpful whenever we come in. She greets us warmly, checks in during the meal to make sure everything is okay, and creates a really welcoming atmosphere. She’s attentive not just to us but to everyone at the table, which makes the experience feel relaxed and comfortable.
Kevin One of the other waiting staff was a real gentlemen, extremly professional and fluent at his job. On one of our visits, there was a small mix up from us with the meals and he handled it calmly and professionally. He also noticed we had our bags on the floor and offered us an extra chair so we could put them up instead which was such a simple but thoughtful touch and made us feel taken care of. We’re always glad to see him working too.
Kevin and Chacha make a great team seeing them on floor working shows they have a great dynamic and showing great leadership for the other staff. We’re always happy to see them working when we visit.
The food has also been consistently good, generous portions, well cooked, and you can really tell the chef does a great job. Overall, great service, great food, and a place we’re always happy to come back too.

Positive points about this place is that the bar is open till morning 4am. Convenient for travelers arriving late at night. Clean rooms and newly renovated bathroom.

I recently stayed at the Sherbourne Terrace Hotel in Shepparton for a one night stay for business.
The rooms are clean and comfortable and are a decent size. The bathrooms appear to be recently renovated and they are really good and sizable.
The Bistro meals for Dinner & Breakfast was really nice with excellent prompt service from staff that seemed to really care.
Heidi on reception is really professional and on the ball. After leaving the hotel she actually called me to advise there was a phone charger found in my room. It was not mine but I was impressed with that kind of service and follow up.
I will definitely return to this hotel well done.

I booked a 2-night stay in a family room this past weekend.
The room was clean and very well presented for our use. The bathroom was very clean and everything in the room functioned correctly.
The king size bed was very good and I was able to get a suitable night’s sleep.
Two drawbacks.
— the basins in the bathroom are completely inadequate, especially for men wanting to shave.
They must be made depose if any renovations are planned in future.
— Pillows: some firmer pillows are an absolute must in your rooms. Having what is there right now is not helpful to getting a proper night sleep.

I am sorry to write this review but feel I need to share my experience. I travel to Shepparton regularly and often stay here. Unfortunately this will be the last time due to my experience. Whist the rooms and service are fine. There is definitely something going on with the rooms, meaning there was a lot of loud noises and what I could clearly see and describe as working girls in and out with guys also coming and going. It’s disappointing and think as owners you should be looking at this type of behaviour. I hope you can get this back on track.

Quality and quantity of food has gone right down. The prices are through the roof. Won't be eating there again big $$$$ for half a plate of dry and poorly cooked food.

Stayed many time but no longer will I return. The place is very unclean and expensive.
Whoever cleans needs to be replaced and trained.
Food was good, bed was comfortable but that’s about all the positives.

I stayed in this hotel for one night and the bed was super hard to sleep on so I was up all night because I couldn't sleep on it. I didn't mind the shower wasn't that bad. But the room did look nice.

My Wife was going to book on wotif on our way into Shepparton for $154. I suggested we book at the desk to save the motel the booking fee when we arrived as there were plenty of rooms available. (off season) The woman at the counter acted like we were an inconvenience and seemed she’d rather we went somewhere else wasn’t interested in matching the wotif price and charged our card at $176, when on their own website the same room is advertised at $166. Free Wifi is limited to 1000mb. 2 bottles of water in the fridge were $3.50 each on top as well. Most places we’ve booked motels the motel is happy to match the travel apps to save them the booking fee. Book using travel apps with this one and save yourself some money.

Very large rooms, perfectly clean, great hot water and ultra handy location.

Stayed here for an overnight on our way to mt Hotham and we were very impressed! Loved the room, reception and the food at the pub though gotta say the older guy that took our order was a bit rude! This did not dampen our mood and we enjoyed our stay, thanks to the rest of the staff.

Casual room in a hotel/motel fairly close to the CBD with a short walking distance even to the Riverside venue. The bed was comfortable. Tea/coffee with kettle in the room. Simple, nothing fancy. Carpet was fairly stained but no odour of note so it was OK.

Went for lunch and it was the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The salad was raw cauliflower, cabbage and capsicum drowned in vinegar. Don't even know if the fish was actually fish. Really bad!

Room was decent for a country motel. There was no cutlery/spoons to mix the tea/coffee provided.
There was parking until the night, then you had to park un-safely on the street as it became quite busy. All in all it was fine and clean.

Didn’t stay there but ate in the bistro.
Ordered a very overpriced Chicken Parma — was very underwhelmed with the meal. Schnitzel was of the variety of a very thin, processed ‘chicken’ with a plate of overcooked fries and about 2 small pieces of green leaf salad and a thin sliver of unopened tomato.
Won’t be back here again to eat or drink expensive mid strength beer!

Pleasant checkin clean and surpringky spacious room and nice a quiet!

Room we had was good. A bit dated but comfortable all the same. Sports bar is great to sit and watch the footy. Can't vouch for the bistro as we didn't eat there.
