Clean, newly renovated room (I was room17), convenient. Every thing spot on. Would not hesitate staying here again.

Pleasant staff, older but clean facility. Horrible Wi-Fi, unable to read emails. Economical stay for 1 night.

Do not forget your own soap and face washer as the communal soap is not good and there's nothing to wash yourself with! Fridge isn't cold even on the coldest setting. Tv would only turn on couldn't change channels or watch Netflix, didn't bother asking management about it so it probably could have been rectified. Good location and affordable.

I stayed in an executive room on the ground floor. Good price and the room was comfortable, clean and check in and out was very simple. Thanks for an easy stay.

Staff was very friendly, room was good enough for an overnight stay with kids.

I really can't see why others have left poor reviews for this place, my experience was excellent. Friendly people running the place. Great price and location, comfortable beds, large room with a couch no less, quality fittings, quiet (from other guests as well as roads). Only slight complaints I can make is that the air con was a bit noisy and the shampoo sachets were impossible to open, or maybe I'm just weak. Anyway similar priced places don't even come with these things so can't complain really, will definitely stay again when in the area.

Booked last minute when my 'usual' motel was booked out.
Was apprehensive after looking at some reviews. Couldn't have been more wrong.
Friendly staff, with a good tips on where to eat. Recently, it appeared, renovated room very comfortable mattress and quiet location.
Great location and walking distance to anything you would need.
Will be staying again for sure.

At the same time, I see in my bank account that this hotel has ALREADY charged me $150!

The rooms were clean and roomy. The shower didn't have much pressure and the bathroom can was noisy but over all it was agood place to stay.

Really good budget motel. Located on the edge of the shopping and restaurant district, within walking distance of the hospital. Friendly management. Good clean rooms.

Although not the most modern of motels, the room was clean, fresh and quiet. Staff were lovely and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

The owner was lovely to deal with but my heart sunk as we walked in; my husband will never live this booking down. The family room was so outdated. As I inspected, my heart sunk more when I saw the shower curtain and the bed spreads. I stay in motels regularly for work and thought bed spreads were a thing of the past. We had to go and buy extra towels from Woolies because we like one per shower but also there was no where to hygienically dry 4 towels. The beds were so hard that we all had head aches and sore neck and shoulders. I suggested we go home early rather than spend a 2nd night but we decided to suck it up so as not to disappoint the kids by cancelling our plans for the full weekend but I desperately wanted to leave. The car parks are so tight like other reviews so I'm glad my husband was driving. The other issue we had all weekend was that sometimes the key would easily pop the door open and other times it was a no go and at one point had to get the owner to come and help get into our room. The mini bar fridge was full of mold in the seals — gross. It would actually be so easy to make some simple changes and turn this place around. A good start would be getting rid of those manky shower curtains and making the beds with sheets under and over the blanket and get rid of those old bed spreads.

Rooms were clean and we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Nice and quiet and slept well. Beds not to bad and comfortable. Very helpful owners.

Stayed with the great hospitality of the Parson family that run the William Dutton Motel while my father had surgery.
Lovely room with alot of light. Nice smelling liquid soap unlike most places. We slept 😴 well even though it is on the main thoroughfare. Close to the hospital, shopping district and the beach ⛱️
All in all, a great place to stay.

The retro fitted a/c at a few hundred decibels combined with a built in clock/ radio and shower curtain, gave our room an historic feel. Just loved it!
