Annesley House

This is a wonderful place to stay in a beautifully restored Victorian mansion. The rooms are immaculate with antique furniture and very large. The bed was comfortable and even though it is in the heart of Portland I found it very quiet. The host was very friendly and the location is ideal — just a short work to cafes and shops. This was truly a unique holiday experience and I intend to return.

My stay there was a truly unique experience and even though it is in the heart of Portland it was very quiet. The location is so convenient as I was able to walk to cafes and shops. I look forward to returning in the near future.

Stunning accommodation. We stayed in Wadmore Apartment on first floor and it was very comfortable and well set up. Really enjoyed our stay and slept so well.

Booked the Baytree apartment for a weekend stay. Room was spacious and very clean, with a sunroom attached which gave a nice view of the garden.
Very easy access to the accommodation. Will stay again in the future.

We (3) stayed in Dr Brewer‘s apartment and we loved it. It had a sense of history, beautifully furnished, comfortable, gorgeous artwork, warm (in August), lovely personal touches with a well equipped kitchen. I want to come again.

Had a quick getaway with my husband and OMG, What an absolute gem of a place!
We booked The Grande ground floor apartment and I can say the pictures or description does not justice — last time we remember such luxury, was in Fairmont St. Andrews in Scotland (that’s the fireplace next to the bed that did it! ). These guys have thought of every small detail, it was just immaculate and made us stop emotionally to enjoy life for a moment.
Communication professional but humble, really good location to have a wonder in town — plenty parking too!

We stayed in the two bedroom housekeeper’s cottage. Cosy and quaint and very comfortable. Centrally located, walk to shops and points of interest. And surprisingly quiet. We’d stay again.

We stayed at Annesley House while passing through on a road trip and loved it so much we stayed a second night! The Grande room was gorgeous and so luxurious! Nicole and Belinda were both so kind and helpful in accomodating our stay — thank you so much!

We stayed at Annesley House as guests of a wedding and wow, what a great wedding venue.
So handy to have the rooms / location in one place so especially having young kids. We were able to be in the garden while bub had a nap and the room was secure.
The rooms were beautifully furnished, beds comfortable and everything was very well maintained & cleaned.

We had our wedding in the garden at annesley house and it was beautiful. The building is so impressive we took our wedding photos right there. We had the ceremony under the tree, reception in the back garden and pizza truck in the open parking / driveway. What makes this the perfect venue is we hired all 7 apartments for family and friends to stay with us on location. We will be back to stay at annesley again soon!

I have stayed at Annesley House a few times and each stay has been immaculate and beautiful for a short stay in Portland! Nicole & Peter have been such warm welcomed hosts and always makes sure your stay (whether short or long) is above and beyond expectations. Short walk to main streets and restaurants and everything you need in your rooms!

If you find yourself in Portland Victoria, stay at ANNESLEY House. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was beautifully restored and presented, a truly luxurious home away from home. The apartment is very well appointed and the owners have included many thoughtful details. There are detailed instructions for all the apartment amenities and recommendations for places to eat and drink which were very helpful.

A beautiful property. Located a short walk from town/foreshore with off-street parking available. We were in Rosalie's Retreat and loved it. Tastefully furnished, spacious warm, light. It is perfect for a short stay, or even a longer one as a base for exploring the region. Highly recommend!
