We travelled to avoca last weekend, and apart from the great food and awesome wine, it literally felt like mark was a long time friend with how welcoming and accommodating he was. The entire staff were great. We also stayed in the accomdation, which was comfortable and warm, even in freezing weather!

There isnt anything we've tried at Summerfields that hasnt been sensational! the wines are amazing, weve also had a number of different breads (the fruit one was to die for) and the pizzas were absolutely delicious! today we were treated with Summerfields hot cross buns, and my Hubby reckons they were the best he's ever had. Well worth a visit! I cant wait to try more! Thanks guys!

Amazing winter weekend escape at the stunning Summerfield winery and resort. The lamb pizza was the best pizza EVER. Perfect wine and couldnt fault the accomodation. Well worth a visit.

What a wonderful place. We have just come back from spending the weekend in Summerfield’s beautiful cottage. Mark and Masako have certainly created a little peace of heaven.
The ambience of the house is fantastic and they have left no stone unturned — they even had all the heaters turned on making the house nice and cosy for our arrival.
Of course Mark’s wines speak for themselves and are certainly first class. That’s why we keep going back. Now Mark has added to this wonderland with his wood fired pizzas — again perfection as only Mark can do.
Once you arrive at Summerfield you are at home.

Lovely wine and cheese thank you! The 90s ambience of the accomodation made me feel like I was staying at my parent's beach house — including the spaciousness. In my book space beats style every time.

Great pizza and lovely setting, a must for a trip to the region.

Super friendly service and a small lounge where they sell lots of accompaniments for their wines which are more on the side of full bodied and they have many stronger cheeses waiting to enjoy with them. All the wines are consistently very highly rated. Left having enjoyed some of the wines and some appreciation of the differences.

We had a lovely Winter 3-night getaway here. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious with a full kitchen inside and a Webber bbq outside. The meat pack for dinner was delicious, as was the breakfast pack. The wine was lovely too. We did not have any phone reception (TPG and Optus), but managed to get some reception in a bigger town nearby.

The Merlot has to be one of the best I have tried. Summerfield wines are well worth the buy. A must try for all wine lovers.

Mark Summerfield, one of the kindest wine maker I know. Just give yourself a go to the winery and you will fall in love with this place as well as their wines. Exports to China.

My partner took me away for my birthday and we stayed here, could not have been more impressed! The wines were amazing, we had a meat pack which was unbelievable and the bacon they sourced was the best we had ever tasted (and my partner is obviously a bloke who loves bacon). The advice given of where to go and must do's was also so very appreciated. Thank you for the lovely stay, we'll definitely come back!

Great place to have a getaway. The room we stayed in was comfy and had a good kitchen with a full stove and oven. The breakfast, BBQ and cheese platter packs are great and goes well with their wine. Staff are friendly and have great knowledge of the area. There is not much to do in Moonambel but the town Avoca is only a 15min drive away. There is no WI-FI and poor Optus reception, but the Telstra service here is great if you need to keep in touch with the world.

Reception was wonderfully friendly, a great place to stay and the wine was lovely! So much to see around the area and if we hadnt of stayed at Summerfield we would not have seen all the local wonders so thankyou!

We had an excellent time at the "Paella in the Pyrenees with Kelsie Rimmer" day out. Accommodation, food, wine, and the amazing hospitality of the staff made this a very special treat. Having a dance to the music from the jukebox put a very nice cherry on top.

We celebrated my birthday there and Mark, Masako and friends were as if we'd always known them. We got to brq free range pork, fresh, thick porterhouse, to go with their cheeses and with their 97 point wine it couldn't have been better. I agree with the previous writer its the people that make sumnerfield memorable — but the wines are pretty exceptional too.

Old build with a new lease of life… We didn't stay here but accommodation is available although it's not the most romantic of accommodation (old school motel like) in the area… Wines are good staff area extremely friendly.

Very good and relaxing and you can watch Kangaroos very closely but there's no data connection or Wi-Fi available.

Clean, well presented, well insulated rooms. Quiet part of the country. Kitchenette is very handy as there's not many places to eat in town. For $88 for a single person including continental breakfast — pretty good value.
