We had lunch there today. On ordering and paying for our food, we were told that not only were we going to be slugged an extra 10% on our bill, but that we couldn’t order from the Senior's Menu (for an elderly family member) because it was apparently a Public Holiday. Not only is Easter Sunday NOT a public holiday — an elderly person is a senior, no matter what day it is! They should not be charged any higher regardless. Myself, along with another person having the same problem with their elderly family member both discussed this with the Manager but he didn't care. He kept saying Easter Sunday is a Public Holiday and we can't order from the Senior's Menu because it's a limited menu… so we were charged a lot extra for a plate of spaghetti from the "normal" menu which was also on the Senior's Menu (funny that! ) AND charged 10% surcharge on the entire bill because it was "apparently" a Public Holiday! Happy Easter 🙄 Poor Management.

My husband and our family ate at the bistro at Tabcorp this evening. We'd like to thank Diana and the bistro staff for such wonderful service and the chefs for cooking such delicious meals. We enjoyed our night enormously. Sincerely The Murray and Webb families.

This is referring to the poorly designed parking system that was put in place for the Annual New Year’s Eve celebration 2022 and also the Traffic controllers that were working that night. Parking in front of the Tabcorp building was so congested that it came to a point of literal road rage due to the standstill in traffic. People were waiting for nearly an hour with people exiting vehicles ready to cause mayhem. I walked to the front gate to see why there was a car stand still to find 3 traffic controllers standing in the front generously clearing the grass area car park first before letting cars from the congested area go through. When questioned about this they said “We about to leave in 15 minutes cause they don’t pay us overtime” or “The police are up there, nothing else we can do” Their attitude towards the matter was disgraceful. Only for an employee from Tabcorp who I believe was their Tabcorp point of contact informed them that there is congestion in the front car park and that they will need to let these cars go through first. They then allowed the cars to run freely only to have drivers of these cars verbally abuse the traffic controlled for near hour hold up. Not long after this they packed up and moved on, only to be found behind the Tabcorp sign at the front gate almost hiding from drivers. I’m not too sure what can be done here but their conduct and attitudes was quite poor. Also the design of the whole car park system was quite poor.

Dianna and her staff are the most amazing people. How lovely to have staff to greet you with a smile and make you feel so welcome.

Last night we decided to have Tabcorp Park Takeaway.
I order the chicken stroganoff & battered fish for myself and mother, it did not disappoint. Was absolutely delicious. We will be back to order again. Thank you to staff also who are doing a fantastic job given the current circumstances, service was fantastic from the moment I rang & ordered to collection 😊

Great meals but the breakfast parma needs more hollandaise sauce. Week before there was plenty of sauce this week hardly a sprinkle.

I have just been to seen Kevin Bloody Wilson great show but I was so disgusted in a crowd in all my life they were noisy and so drunk fancy serving drinks while the show was on told security at half time but they did nothing weak as will never ever go back 10 minutes before it finished a fight broke out what happened to RSA.

The prosciutto chicken was beautiful! The staff were so friendly when they delivered the food and it also came hot and tasted great! I loved the tiramisu. Definitely my go to place! thanks Tabcorp!

This has been my take away of choice during lockdown. The meals have been fantastic. It’s been so good to be able to get a bistro meal delivered to our door. The meals have always arrived hot and have been delivered with a smile. It’s certainly made lockdown a little easier to tolerate.

Just ordered dinner with delivery and it was awesome! Arrived at my door hot 40mins earlier than expected! Will definitely order again!

The Easter Family Meal was excellent. Great Food arrived on Time and was still hot. Portions were nice and big could not finish it. All 4 of us were so pleased with the meal wish for it to continue after the quarantine is over. Recommend it to everybody as it was good value for a terrific meal. Compliments to the Chef and all the staff at Tabcorp Park.

We had meals delivered tonight. They were great thorough enjoyed them.

Just had three meals delivered to our home have to say they were amazing they were as good as if you were at the pub. Well done Tabcorp park.

Meals are well presented and value for money. Wait times are not too long for courses. Dining room is always clean and affordable.

Great venue. Great improvement in food with the new chefs.

Couple of years ago the food was really really good
recently I had the seafood basket nothing was fresh my son's burger was garbage we had a table of 12 maybe 2 out of 12 were happy best thing was the garlic bread there always changing there menu and managers my family used to go there every Thursday for dinner now I will never go back.

I can't really recommend anything as I have not been to any of the events, but hope to be there for new year!
Friends have been there in past and have highly recommended the events that take place at tab corp park!

Bistro Food is absolutely garbage! Risotto was swimming in a pool of tasteless liquid, sent it back! The spaghetti bolognaise was the same, you’d buy better quality in a tin. What a absolute waste of money!

Great place for dinner and for families. Kids get to see the horses up close.

For one. Improve CUSTOMER SERVICE in the bistro, COOK decent FOOD, give a good service but we are talking about MELTON arn't we? so what else do you expect.

The staff were unbelievably rude and I caught a few of them laughing at customers! Got every single order wrong and no apology. Half the table were already finished eating whilst the other half were waiting for their meals. Received plates for the birthday cake that were boiling hot and still very wet… Disgusting! So upset to know I wasted my birthday night coming here. Never again!

Went here last night. Sadly the quality of the service is non existent.
I ordered a meal, I asked for mash potatoes instead of chops. Was told they couldn't do it. We pointed out the it is offered as a side dish… was told I still couldn't have it… the meal wasn't nice to eat. Will never go there again. Spoilt a special night out for our family.

Hot fav won and stewards have bets on fav so everyone knows the outcome — DISMISSED. Can Harness Victoria please have stewards with integrity because current stewards are so bent.

Amazing staff in the bistro. Without too much detail the staff tonight went above and beyond with their customer service. For such a busy night, food was great and service was a stand out. You guys made my 6year old extremely happy! Thanks heaps!

Our band performed at TABCORP Park, the staff were friendly, the atmsophere was great, the security were lovely guys. I have nothing but praise for the way they are so busy but still remain friendly and courteous.

I've lived in Melton for 6 years and finally made it to Tabcorp park. My 2 1/2 year old loved watching the horses run by and had a great time on the playground. Will be coming again. :)

Great place good facilities and a kids room to keep tackers occupied.

Stayed here over night Room was great and girls at reception really good worth 4 stars. The meals and staff in bistro let the place down bigtime! Ordered room service for evening meal and it was awful. Chips where soggy and oily chicken parmigiana after I scraped of the coating and sauce ate the plain chicken and only because I hadn’t eaten for the day. Partner said her pasta was a pass just. Breavkfast in the bistro the next morning was a disappointment. Lady behind counter I thought was rude and abrupt. Choices for breakfast was very limited. Too bad if you don’t like your eggs scrambled because that is it no other choice apparently. You get the drift. Would stay here again but never eat here.

Stayed here for a wedding. Was reasonably priced and very comfortable. Would recommend if you need to stay down this way.

Love tabcorp… great staff easy to navigate n good choice of pokies machines pplus food is great… accommodation is clean n tidy n modern but room prices and bondca little high for a tiwn like melton. Otherwise grwat facility.

It was ok, finger food was ok, was there for a function and was clean and service was good.

Its been hit miss at time but the last few times ive eaten there it been good, and the live music they continue to have in the sports bar continies to be absolutely amazing I thing its fantastic you continue to support live music.

Good bedrooms, little noise, food good. Check out time supposedly 10 AM. BUT had people knocking on door from 9A. M. Caught me unprepared. Would have been nice to have a quiet area to have a drink.

Went to dinner and supposedly show very disappointing. The meal was great service very good but show very disappointing. Apparently its a seniors event which local council help fund which is very good as there was alot from senior accommodation agreat outing. But there were alot who werent interested in the races and came for the show four songs do not by any stretch of the imagination constitute a show. Some people travel a long distance to be very disappointed and said never again. Hope there is a lot of improvement on how these events are run and advertised. I will be more cautious about returning.

Nice and clean good mini bar.

Rooms are clean & modern. The bar & bistro facilities are all ok. The atmosphere here could improve. However considering the space inside without a crowd that would be hard to overcome.

I think its a great place. Came for dinner before fleetwood mac show but I arrived late so my own fault all eating venues were full and busy. However was told we could order snacks the gaming room. For the $7 it cost it was the best fish n chips and calamari n chips both myself and friend have had… the bar man even brought it over to us on the couches by the tv… we were joined with a few other people doing the same thing… as busy as the place was I thought the staff in all the areas did well and deserve credit not just negative feed back…

Wasnt happy with Saturday night, went there early to get something to eat in sports bar only to find out there was no meals available was not happy then the bar staff said it was ok to order a meal in the bistro and the staff said they will bring it into the sports bar only to find out when the meals were ready was told I have to eat the meal in the bistro and miss some of the band was so angry, please tabcorp organize your meals better when the bands are playing otherwise you will lose a lot of people.

Food very tasty but pricey and skimpy compared to other hotels.

I like going there and this time round, I attended there with my two sisters and our kids as they had like a Family Fun Night that had free activies, Kids had fun!

Good good. Not overly priced. Got a kids room for thr little ones as well.

Went and had lunch there. The portion size was small for the price and was very unappetizing. Wont be going back. Dissapointed.

Great parking straight off Freeway easy access in and out of the venue. Multi purpose hotel, racecourse, funtion center and gaming venue. Staff well trained and friendly.

Went for dinner and drinks with friends for race night. Fantastic food, awesome atmosphere and really reasonably priced! 5 stars.

Great if your after a sophisticated Nye's with friends great food nice staff and great people to enjoy and meet with. Loved fireworks from the Sky Box. Best views.

Went for the new years eve event and had an absolute ball. Free entertainment for all ages. Food at the Bistro was better than I expected, the chilli con carne was amazing. Would highly recommend going to this event and this venue. Will go there again soon.

We attended the New Year's Eve celebration at Tabcorp Park Melton. What a great night. The staff are really friendly and helpful, prices for the meals were reasonable and the food was good and plenty. We enjoyed watching the racing and though the fireworks display was a bit short we really enjoyed it. The music the DJ was playing kept a party atmosphere about the place, patrons were safe and jovial and there were act I cities for all ages, jumping castle, DJ, food stalls, racing etc. Will definitely attend again.

Great venue, but a bit pricey on drinks.

It's an okay place to eat out but nothing special. The atmosphere could do with some improvement but it is what it is. I had steak on steak night and it was sizable and tasty for the price. My wife had calamari and didn't think the meat was that great. Overall, good but not great.

There are stairs out the front and a ramp if you're not good at stairing, which mum says is rude anyway. You can go inside if you want and they have food n drinks to have. There are pokies machines and a heap of tiny houses that you can borrow if you don't have one. When you go outside through a different door there is an Amish speedway track, where people race other people in wheelchairs. The weird part is that they each have to push horses on their wheelchairs which I thought was hysterical and couldn't stop laughing. So if you want to have a great time then pack your laughing socks because your gunna be in for a real treat.

Partner and I came for dinner in the bistro for our first time at Tabcorp and after waiting for our meal for an hour we were very disappointed with the food, my partners meal was tasteless and bland, mine wasn't any better either, we both agreed it had to be the worst meal we have had anywhere and would not be returning and we not recommend any of our friends going there.

Great bistro. Service and meals very nice. Kids welcome. Good atmosphere. Haven't seen the races here yet or stayed in a room but I would love to give it a go one day, which means its a nice place and would recommend.

Great venue and activities. Had a really good night out. Menu had good selections, food was good but basic. For example ribs that I had only came with chips. Kids playroom was basic fut functional.

Food was good for the most part. A well done steak came out medium rare. A hour wait on a quiet night was unacceptable. Manager was nice and apologetic.

Stayed here twice when my daughter was doing work experience at the closeby Dingo Discovery Centre. This place is heaven on earth! The hotel accommodation is spectacular, the rooms huge, modern, clean and well-appointed with a massive bathroom with the most up-to-date fittings. There were free laundry facilities including powder. The first time we stayed a light continental breakfast was included but you could order hot for extra if you wanted. The second they had revised the policy and you had to pay a small fee for continental, but the value overall was outstanding. I seriously don't recall paying any more than for regular motel accommodation elsewhere on the trip. It is very quiet during the week, but fills up a little on the weekends, especially harness racing night. We stayed on the side overlooking the car park both times and were never bothered by noise, even during these peak periods. And there is all of the convenience of the restaurants and 24 hour facilities of the Tabcorp. Thinking about it, I want to be there right now!

Horrendous customer experience. Had a booking for 23 people for my mums birthday. I wasn’t told upon booking that there was a $1 cake charge per person. Everyone at this lunch combined spent well over $1000 on food and drinks. Barring that, went to order food and waited at the counter for a good 5 minutes while the lady behind the counter walked past us numerous times worrying about the food the chefs were making. When we were finally served, the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and disinterested in serving us. We booked the lunch for one table and again wasn’t informed that this wasn’t possible and we had to have two separate tables, causing a divide between guests. Would not come here again if you paid me. What a disgrace.

Food was not bad I had the steak and veg. The rooms are quite nice and the staff is friendly. There was a banging all night on the roof from some sort of loose flashing that kept me up all night. Other than that not a bad place to stay between trips.

Just off the highway at melton. Nice bistro, pokies, gambling. Room was very large for the price, very modern, free Wi-Fi was a great bonus. Really enjoyed my stay, would stay there again.

Beautiful room. Lots of parking on site. Friendly staff throughout. Free Wi-Fi. Cheap price for a comfortable stay. Just off the high way. Highly recommended if you need a room for the night!

Great food outstanding service and pleasant surroundings.

My experience was lovely. My elderly father & I, had a delicious salad & barramundi for lunch. Our waitress was friendly & engaging. The meal was served swiftly & the surroundings were pleasent, with a fantastic view of the race track. While the meal was more than what is usual for us to spend, it left our taste buds wanting more but our bellys satisfied.

We went here for the motorcycle toy run. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We ate in the main bar. My burger really really nice, mates had the parma and it was a really chook breast not that pressed crap. Tasty food. Good chips. Drinks were in plastic which is sad. If they used glass I would have given 5.

Friendly staff, food menu was good for what a bistro should be and at a decent price point too. Mains and entrees came out promptly for two tables of nine. Good view of the track and the action.
