My husband and I live locally and cannot help but notice this alluring hotel each time we pass by, but on this particular day we simply could not help but be swept up in its elegant embrace! As soon as we stepped through the doors it was as if we had stepped back into an era of opulence and grandeur we had long believed extinct here in Melbourne!
We were greeted very professionally by two young staff — Jo and Katia I believe were their names — who were both lovely and open to a chat to entertain two oldies such as ourselves! A lot of chemistry between them I might add, we suggested they should marry! Our lunch was excellent, the lobster risotto was particularly decadent and the mash was divine. We will surely be back!
