I will admit that I was surprised at there prices but I was impressed by the friendliest and helpful staff. Their rooms obviously come in various sizes the one I was in is very cosy, clean and well maintained and very modern. The hotel is located just after you turn from Spenser st and into Flinders st which mean you are close to everything. I would recommend it to anyone who would be looking to find a room in a central location.

Really lovely room, very clean and fully equipped for a stay of some length, cooking, cleaning, clothes washing facilities all provided. Quite a nice view too if you don't mind the train line.

We had a very pleasant stay in Punthill Northbank! We stayed in a one bedroom river view apartment and we were very pleased with the modern design of the apartment, cleanliness and the AMAZING view it came with. Definitely highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Melbourne, as the rooms are spacious, very close to Southern Cross Station and the CBD and the staff are also very helpful!

Pretty awful. Reception unattended at 7.30pm and couldn't get in. Shower was broken and couldn't be fixed until the next day (but I was checking out). Staff didn't really care and it seems to be a known issue. It is very noisy near the trains and heating was noisy. Bathroom sink design was very impractical as the tap blocked any proper use. There's a nice kitchen and bed is comfortable. Room is not private as you can still see through the black blinds. Will avoid this place in the future.

Very close to the main offices in the CBD, easy team access for someone who's never ridden the teams in Melbourne before. Apartment is very clean and modern. Bed is very comfortable. 7 eleven is right next door.

Modern and clean. Only two good features. One bed apartments are dark shoeboxes that have views of the neighbouring apartments a few metres away. No privacy, no sunlight and very noisy (from noisy train bridge). Actually how anyone lives near this bridge is remarkable. Not a place to come back to relax in. You actually want to spend as much time as possible not here. Do not recommend!

Accommodation is great, rooms are wonderful, great spot BUT very very noisy from trains going past and general car noises.

Amazing rooms and the staff here at Punthill north bank were so helpful I only booked for 1 night and then was ment to go to my next accommodation for the next 5 nights but as I went to my next hotel the rooms was too small and a very busy hotel building and far from were I needed to go every day so I came back to punthills knowing it was fully booked out for the weekend I asked if there was any chance they could find me anther room for another 5 nights and with a few changes they found me one so thank you so much il be coming bake to this hotel every year and make sure il let others no.

The room was very nice, however their advertised “serviced” apartments is totally false! We stayed 5 nights and our bed sheets were changed ONCE the whole stay! Totally unacceptable. The only time we saw cleaning staff was when they burst into our apartment without knocking, half mopped the entrance then left. I travel to Melbourne every 3-4 months and I will NOT be booking with Punthill in the future. A great disappointment for the price bracket ($250-$350 per night), we chose to book the rest of our stay with another hotel instead of extending our booking. Also their advertised views were NOT what you received at all. I do not recommend this business! You can get much much better service, location and view in Melbourne for much cheaper.

Great for overnight or long stays in Melbourne. It's the quality of a hotel with the facilities of a serviced apartment. Fantastic view, gym and facilities.

Room interior is good, although quite noisy location. Was asked to be moved to the back which was better, but you couldn't leave window open due to noise. Aircon unit temperamental.

The location is prime for access to anywhere in Melbourne with a great view and wonderful staff and amenitie. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in Melbourne.

Compact but with all things you need. Stayed in a 1 bed studio like room, It reminded me of Japanese apart hotels where the bedroom is in the middle of the apartment and has glass walls. All the comforts for a stay of a week or so and make it your base of operations including laundry, dishwasher and proper stove and fridge. Location did not feel secure after dark and room looks straight into bedrooms of building next door. Great for couples but will not recommend for families. It is however as many pointed out centrally located.

Stayed for 5 days. Great floor. Good view. But very poor air con. Elevators very hot and stuffy because of no cooling or air management. No minibar. And poor room service times. The air con was big issue. Very poor units in rooms. Had 2 bedroom apartment. And only one small unit in lounge. Very uncomfortable for sleeping as air barely filters into rooms. Will not stay here again. And am very dissapointed in punthill. Only redeeming feture of the 2 bedroom apartment. Was fully self contained. Kitchen sink. Oven, microwave, clothes washing and large fridge.

My husband and I spent 7 nights here mid October, the apartments are so handy to everything that Melbourne has to offer. The staff right from front of house to housekeeping were so obliging. The actual room was immaculate and very modern, the only issue was that it was tricky cleaning your teeth in bathroom basin as cabinet above did not allow a lot of room. Would definately recommend to others and we will return.

Absolutely adored this self contained apartment which is within Melbourne city with free tram rides conveniently stopping outside the lobby. Stayed five nights; the front desk staff were most friendly and helpful, offering advice on places to eat and explore. We will definitely be back!

Rooms were nice and cosy, good amenities provided and Wi-Fi speeds were pretty good as well. 5 minute walk from the Crowne and Convention Centre. Real friendly staff and great cafe downstairs for the cheeky morning coffees.

Excellent apartment complex, great rooms and services. Great location. Higher floors have great views of Melbourne. New, well maintained apartments.

Amazing location and staff. Room was spotless and had everything we needed. Only issue was there was only 1 thin blanket on the bed, and with the heater in the lounge room it was a little cold to sleep (even after we added the 2nd blanket later on). But overall highly recommended. Great value for money.

Fully equipped rooms, if a little small. Clean linen and towels. Amazing views of Melbourne from the 24th floor where we stayed, and from the Gym. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Can highly recommend this hotel. Stayed for three nights while the Grand Prix. The staff was very friendly and my room the hotel room of my dreams! Best view, very clean and modern interior! Hope to visit again someday!

Stayed in a two bedroom riverview apartment and absolutely enjoyed our stay! Comfortable with great views, close to transportation. Would highly recommend!

I had a one bedroom "high" room that looked out over the river and out towards the sea — GORGEOUS! The apartment was extremely comfortable and had enough space for two people comfortably. The front receptionist were a pleasure to talk to and helpful. Will be back!
