Melbourne Hotels near Rialto Towers

If we could give 10 stars we would. What a wonderful hotel. We stayed in a heritage queen room for 3 nights.

This is our favourite downtown Melbourne 5 star hotel.

I arrived on an early morning flight and was feeling very tired and overwhelmed, so I really appreciated the early check-in.
The room felt just like home — comfortable and very clean.

The staff — and truly, the staff again — made this stay exceptional. From the first moment, everyone was welcoming, kind, and genuinely attentive.

There is a very nice vibe to this hotel, the location is excellent. The pool is smallish but still very nice with a plant wall covering one entire side. The bar on L22 is cosy and a great view.

The room facing the Yarra River is wonderful I think doesn't matter which floor you get. Cleaned and well designed room.

Quay West Suites far exceeded my expectations. The room looked like it was new and was well-appointed.

We had a great stay in Southbank. The location was excellent, close to the river, transport, and plenty of dining options, which made getting around Melbourne very easy.

Had a really nice staycation here. Thanks to Kayla at check-in, who was friendly, welcoming and upgraded us to a room on a high floor. The room was quiet, clean and had a great view.

My wife and I stayed here during our recent 10 day visit to Melbourne to visit our son, who is currently working there.

We booked our annual two night Christmas staycation through luxury escapes which included club lounge privileges and late check-out and room credits.

We dropped off for a night at the Melbourne Pan Pacific and were very pleasantly surprised. Our room had a wonderful skyline and river view, it was spacious and very clean.

The hotel is modern and classy. We were being upgraded and our rooms were huge and super spacious. I’d also like to thank Miss Bella Lorenza for sending us a bottle of complimentary wine.

Brilliant service from every single person we encountered, they could not do more for you. Rooms were large and of a high standard.

Hotel is in a very convenient location for travel to and from the airport as it is across the road from skybus terminal.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Mövenpick Hotel. The service was exceptional from start to finish — every staff member was friendly, understanding, and genuinely helpful.

We had a couple of days at the Hilton Little Queen St hotel for a local staycation and anniversary celebration.

Had an amazing stay here, the front desk were helpful and welcoming. As a platinum member we had free continental breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was great.

Great hotel, location and service. We had a wonderful stay at Clarion Suites in Melbourne. Staffs were very accommodating, especially Elvie. Kids had lots of fun in the pool.

Well appointed apartment. Ideal for groups. The options available for bed configuration is a bonus. Location perfect for visiting the city and sporting venues. Central for trains, trams and buses.

Overall we were very happy. This is the second time we stay at Quest. Location is great and close to trams and many places we wanted to visit. Amenities were very close.

Good Stay, Great upgraded room, nice location near all the needed facilities. Received without arguing early checkin and late checkout, nice little gym for workout. All in all a pleasant stay.

Excellent location close to Flagstaff gardens, Spencer & Lonsdale tram station and queen Victoria market. Very walkable to good restaurants around.

We visited The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne with four friends for dessert and coffee, and Anjan made our evening even better. He was very friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit.

The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is honestly one of the most opulent hotels I’ve ever stayed in. If luxury could be personified into a building, this would be it.
The location is slightly different to what

I have stayed in many hotels in Melbourne over many decades and this one is a regular I return to. It is so close to everything — trains, trams, South Bank, shopping — but quiet.

Arrived early in Melbourne went to hotel to leave bag and go into town. The girls at the counter were fantastic and with no trouble I was checked in with a great room.

We recently stayed for one night in a 1 King Room.
The location is truly fantastic. The hotel is situated directly opposite Flinders Street Station, making it incredibly easy to navigate Melbourne.

Got a super deal booking online with parking, breakfast and a possible late check out included for the same price as without any of them. Parking is about 150m down the road.

Loved staying here the bed was so comfy, view was great. We had a standard king room. Buffet breakfast was delicious so many choices, we went at 8am so we didnt have to wait.

I haven't tried a ton of hotels in Melbourne, but once I got to the Langham I didn't see any need to look elsewhere.

I really loved this hotel. It’s new, clean, beautiful, and very quiet — a perfect place to relax. I stayed here for 4 nights on the 26th floor, and overall the experience was great.

Wonderful New Year Stay.
We had a fantastic New Year stay at Novotel Melbourne South Wharf. The service was warm, professional, and welcoming from start to finish.

I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Centric Melbourne. I stayed here for 2 nights, on 4 and 5 March 2026, and it was a great experience.
It is definitely one of the best hotels in Melbourne.

I had the pleasure of being hosted by the Hyatt for the AIME conference in Melbourne.

Nice home base for five nights. Hotel is located in a lively and bustling Chinatown. My 13th floor studio room was massive and included a kitchenette and a deep bathtub.

We always stay at the mantra for the Antipodes Greek Festival weekend. We are performers and we perform mainly voluntarily.

We really enjoyed my stay at Oak Wood Hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent.

Good location, room was a bit too hot. AC just didn't get cold enough.
I was very surprised that there was no in room dining after 9:30 pm. Quite unexpected for a five-star property.

Amazing location, to access Queen Vic Market and close to nice cafes and tram stop. Parking access a little fiddly.
I arrived at 1.56 for a 2pm check in and was told check in wasn’t until 2pm… hmm.

Stayed at Veriu Queen Victoria Market and couldn’t fault it. The service was top tier from start to finish, super friendly and helpful team that made everything easy.

I stayed here for one night in a premium bathtub hotel room. The rooms are spacious, and the large bath overlooking the city is beautiful. The decor was modern, with all staff pleasant.

My recent business stay at voco Melbourne Central was a quiet delight in the heart of Melbourne.

Great location and car park is suited for all vehicle sizes. It's walking distance to rod laver which is why I stay here so often.
Highly recommend, especially for families.

Great location. Pleasant apartment and helpful staff. It almost worked for us and our wheelchair and portable hoist reliant son.

Comfortable room with queen bed and pretty good view, decent breakfast included. Note rooms are not soundproof, can clearly hear conversations next door. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The experience was great. The whole family enjoyed the experience. The room was located on one of the top floors and the breakfast menu was pre-set by the hotel.
