Hubby & I stayed 2 night for our 21st Wedding Anniversary, great customer service by Thomas upon check in also were given an upgrade from Studio room to One bedroom Suite.
Nothing was to much trouble.
Also had dinner at William’s Bar & Cafe fabulous service by Jemima.

How often do the trains go by? So often you won't even notice them. Great rooms, friendly staff.

2bdrm, 2 bathroom apartment clean and tidy. Lounge space sparsely decorated and only just enough furniture for 4 adults. Could do with a large carpet square or such to lesson the echo off the floortiles in the lounge.

Amazing stay. The great receptionist and staff helped fix MY own mistake with no questions. I cannot recommend Clarion Suites enough.

Checked in Friday afternoon and checked out earlier today. While the room was not one with a view, it had an amazing courtyard. Nothing was any trouble for any of the staff, who were all polite, friendly and courteous. As a smoker it was a pleasant change to have a dedicated smoking area. Had a meal at the restaurant which was delicious and inexpensive. Special thanks to Kelly and Michael who made my stay extra special Much appreciated Will definitely e staying here again.

I was really disappointed with my stay here. The room was great and affordable but everything else was less than average. I was greeted by rude staff and at every opportunity they attempted to scam me for money. I called up and asked for a blanket, the man said it would be 100$. He jumped to the conclusion I was using the fold out mattress that’s already in the room. Further, he started questioning who I had in my room … I think it’s insane they wanted 100$ for a fold out matress that is already in the room anyways! I ended up getting the blanket I asked for, after being questioned and nearly scammed 100$ for it to. To top it off, when I arrived at the room the toilet hadn’t been flushed from previous guests and there was an old toilet paper roll there nearly finished. I asked for a coke to the room and the man was asking for cash and would not accept a card payment… very dodgy to me. On top of everything, I get a call at 11:45 and they asked me for an additional 100$ for late checkout of 12PM … 100$ for 15 minutes. This was a shock considering they did not specify when check out was so it all but seemed like a scam for more money. In hospitality, customer service should be the sole focus. Sadly, I don’t think this establishment knew what customer service is about. All in all, I’m very disappointed and will not be coming back. It’s a shame as the room was beautiful despite the ancient technology that was only compatible with phones made prior to 2012.

Stayed many times over the years, amazing & clean rooms, gorgeous views. A lot of great memories here, awesome swimming pool as well. Would recommend to anyone.

Just spent the weekend there with my husband. Staff very friendly. River view suite great size and very comfortable. Great location and excellent views over the Yarra River. Definitely recommend it and will stay there again.

Relatively nice hotel with a restaurant and indoor heated pool. Though for Wi-Fi you only get half hour free per day in the room and 1 hour in the lobby (guess internet is too expensive here! ) Room is not that big but clean. There are no room slippers so bring your own.

Comfortable and clean. Better than many others nearby at a similar price point. My work often puts me up here, and I certainly don't object.

Great central position and very nice sized apartments. Staff are wonderful & very helpful. You can't go wrong.

Check in was great, staff very pleasant and efficient, room was good and bed was very comfortable. Lots of noise from the train line however which didn't bother me, but may be a problem for a light sleeper. Overall, good experience, if you are a light sleeper thought, maybe ask for a room on the opposite side to the train line.

Beautiful place with superb customer service. Absolutely clean and hygienic with best amenities.

Room was we'll appointed and service was great. Foyer a little tired and in need of a refurb. Didn't eat or drink there so can't comment on that. Location was great. Very central to where I needed to be.

Have visited Clarion suits two times now and have been very pleased with my stays. The rooms are well set out, clean and tidy. Service has always beem great. I will continue to bool this place when needing accommodation in Melbourne.

Run-down hotel with poor customer service. Over priced and not worth a four star rating. The room I stayed was dated and smelt stale. House-Cleaning did not empty my trash in the 4 nights I was there which I found particularly odd.

Stay anywhere but here. Waste of money, paper thin walls and so expensive. I paid $327 to have 3 hours of interrupted sleep.

The staff were really nice and I got upgraded to a suite even. I was staying here on business and while the location was optimal, there were a few negatives. Firstly the hallways elevator and room had a slight smoke smell to it which was off putting. The room was very nice with good facilities and it was clean but there are other accommodation options within this price point that would be slightly better IMO.

The food is alright, staff are friendly and the overall service is good. Decent place besides no gym.

Room was good. Service was good. Bathroom layout didnt make sense and everything got wet. Buffet breakfast was good but not great.

Upsetting Christmas decorations in foyer. Surely staff could afford to at least use erect Christmas tree. Extremely slow lift caused me to miss important appointment. Mentioned this to staff who seemed careless. Besides that, comfortable rooms.

Staff were friendly & ready to help with whatever we needed. My family felt we weren't judged by our appearance (dressed casually because we had traveled many hours with young children. Room was comfortable.

Disappointing for a 4*, it has seen better times. Could do with a lot of renovation. A suite without bathrobes, ugly curtains and an arrogant, haughty receptionist when we arrived. Also I expect free Wi-Fi in a 4*, not $10 per day for my room plus $10 for the lounge. The other staff was really nice though. If the price is OK for you, the location is great however, very central, with Flinders Station just a short walk away.

Booked a one bedroom suite as we wanted a balcony room overlooking the river and across to Crown… Loved the view and the room was gorgeous. Used the carpark and access to reception was very easy. Check in staff were so helpful and friendly, as were all the front desk staff throughout our stay. Bed super comfy and room beautifully appointed. Highly recommend this hotel for location, staff and comfort.

Fantasies location, nice hotel. Close to the city and south bank. Rooms are a generous size. And the staff were really accommodating. The only issue we had was our room was a little bit noisy, I think we were next to the laundry.

It's been a while since I stayed here but I found it to be one of best hotels I've stayed in whilst in Melbourne.

I found this aparthotel to be great. It was clean and very spacious. Noise is good as well and it was close to the casino and shopping areas. It was easy to find and hotel staff were very friendly and quick.

Hello… Got the 1 Bedroom suite… kitchen, lounge/dining room & Bedroom/bathroom was Perfect… size, it was clean & felt like a little place we could stay in for days if not weeks! It was minutes away to either Crown casino section or the central CBD…! Big Thanks to Jeff at Reception who looked after us… we needed a early check in, Late check out for 2pm… directions to this & that… etc etc… no problems… ask for Jeff…! Will be back for sure… thanks! From Sydney… :-)

Our first impression was the friendly and welcoming staff. The room was clean and modern, and the location was perfect, close to transport, casino, restaurants etc. We were kindly given a complimentary 'late check-out'. Happy to recommend!

I was in a 1br suite and it was very clean and tidy with pleant of room for a two day business trip. The front desk was very helpful. Was a little miffed that fresh towels wernt there the first night and that the milk wasn't replenished but otherwise there are some great breakfast locations close by.

Rooms were reasonably spacious with modern finishes and good facilities. Location was great, being only a 10 minute walk to Crown.

Very surprising how well appointed our room was. Very clean and functional. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a great sleep and couldn't recommend more to friends and family.

Great location, close to everything. Loundry and kitchen facilities in the room. I stayed in a room for 4 and it wasn't so confortável because we had only one bathroom, me and my sister had to sleep in the couch and there were no space for my clothes and my sister's. Despite that, I had a great time, and the staff are great.

Great location very central close to Skybus for airport travel. Room are very good size and clean.

Stayed here on NYE. Wanted some place where we could watch the fireworks without the crowds. Location did not dissapoint. No the best location for the earlier fireworks (the one at 9.30pm for the kids), but front and centre for the midnight fireworks. Room was nice and clean. Service was friendly.

These guys know how to do service. The rooms are wonderful with great views over the Yarra River (Riverview rooms only). The food in the cafe far exceeds the expectation of hotel food. We had dinner and breakfast both days because it was so good. The staff is what sets this place above the rest. You have secured a customer for life. This will be our Go To hotel for Melbourne city.

Love the washing machine and dryer in the room! I can go home with clean clothes.

Stayed at this hotel a month ago and found the location perfect for our needs, close to everything in the CBD and nice restaurants. The rooms were spacious and clean and we had a great view. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel around a month ago. To our surprise in the morning (whilst trying to hurry to travel to the airport) we discovered the hotel has fitted water restrictors to the showers in every room. You have to move your body around in the shower to actually get water to flow onto different parts of your body and it takes about 5 minutes to wash shampoo out of your hair. I complained and the general manager said that it's their policy to use water restrictors (no doubt to save on their bill). If you don't wash yourself daily I'd recommend the hotel, if you are like the rest of the Australian population and actually prefer to have a shower then don't stay here.

My partner and I stayed here for his birthday for a relaxing night in the city and to sit back and watch some of their "new release in-house movies". We had a 1 Bedroom Riverview Deluxe Suite and paid the full rate direct through the hotel. For starters, the car park is dreadful, way too steep for most average cars. I do not reccommend it if you have your suspension modified in any way. We were allocated room 1121 on arrival, the room was okay and the view was fantastic. After ordering in dinner, we decided to start watching movies on the LCD TV which might I add is TINY, but to our dissappointment the in-house movies function didnt work. So we called reception and asked for some assistance. They came to inspect and try to fix it. No luck, they went down to speak with the Manager then we received a telephone call saying it could not be fixed and we would have to just go without! We were not even offered another room which we would have been happy to move to. But this completely ruined our planned night in of relaxing watching movies. We were dissappointed with the service here and the fact our room wasnt in working order. Perhaps they should check these things more often. Apparently being 4.5 star rated the service definetely wasnt! the only compliment I have is for the room service. As the food was good.
