Lovely hotel. Lovely staff, Lovely atmosphere. Great location. Very clean. Has all you need. And the beds. Just heaven. Was like sleeping on a cloud. Had the best sleep… Was our first time staying here. And we'll definitely be back.

Awakened twice in one day by housekeeping, no towels or soap on other days, ridiculous. Having to call over and over for basics.

Had an excellent time in the hotel, staff were absolutely delightful and always so welcoming. Cannot recommend Pan Pacific Melbourne highly enough, would certainly come and stay here again the next time I travel to Melbourne.

We enjoyed our second stay at PP Melbourne over the weekend. This time we took the kids and the two bedroom suite was perfect! Amazing city views and very friendly staff. Only downside is it doesn’t have a pool, but otherwise can’t fault it.

Lovely staff we where allowed to check in at 1030am no extra charge, great view and service would recommend this place so close to everything.

Fantastic location. Very smooth check in, room was spotless. We could not fault a thing. Loved loved loved the complete block out blinds, had the best sleep ever. We will be back again, only metres away from DFO not far to carry lots of shopping bags back.

What a fantastic hotel quarantine what ever you ask they are here to help apart from food I would give them 6 stars hotel lol I love this place.

I am in hotel quarantine at this hotel. Food is of no help, they do not cater to the needs of people at all. It’s day 2 and in day 1 I couldn’t have any single meal. Cold wraps, non veg pasta despite the request of veg. After travelling we look forward to have some simple food like stir fry or soups, they don’t have anything on menu. I am not sure how many kgs I am going to loose in 14 days. No window no balcony sucking food, all this don’t help for a good mental health.

It was an amazing experience staying in a place like this. We have had a surprise birthday present from the Pan Pacific staff. It was an unexpected and wonderful experience. Love you Pan Pacific. ❤️❤️

My mother in law was very lucky to stay at the hotel under 2 weeks quarantine. Every time I called the staff about her stay all staff were lovely and accomodating and nothing was an issue. I made almost daily calls to them with small requests or questions and they were always so happy to oblige. When I eventually get to Melbourne for a holiday… I know where I’ll be staying! :)

Great room and room service — luxury quarantine stay!

We are coming to the end of our mandatory 14 days quarantine at this fantastic hotel. Ever since we have arrived the staff have been super friendly and attentive and provided everything we have needed within minutes of asking for it. The food provided has been excellent and we wish we could of stayed here under different circumstances. Thank you for your excellent hospitality and a big shout out to the staff who spotted it was my birthday and sent me a cake — it was an unusual birthday I won't be forgetting anytime soon!

Howdy, just completed 14 days of mandatory-quarantine-detention at the Pan Pacific. Not something I'm in a rush to repeat, but the hotel staff were great and did the best they could under difficult conditions. I was able to wash and save all the plastic tubs, which I'll recycle as seedling tubs in my glasshouse. Thanks for sending up a Gideons Bible for the duration, maybe you could think about putting one in every room, like other hotels I've been at. View was great and the room pretty swish, but maybe I'll enjoy it more under different circumstances?!. Thanks to all the staff. Cheers Rob.

Hi there, Pan Pacific was turned into a detention-center for international travelers, with security guards on every floor and food being left on the doorstep using lots of plastic containers. Food quality varies from great to terrible. Although I still believe that hotel staff are doing the best they can. The rooms are nice and have a nice city views, however I will never forgive being put into detention even though we have not being tested for Covid-19 and show no signs of it after 3 weeks of quarantine. I do not recommend this hotel because they support the new police-state regime.

Stayed in the panoramic suite, very clean and comfortable, very friendly staff when checked in and out, valet parking was excellent, restaurant was excellent food and service, only negative thing is it is very hard to get to hotel due to taxi Kew out the front of the hotel.

My work gave me a night away for 15 years of service we chose to pay extra for a upgrade which included the club lounge well worth every cent.
The food was amazing, the staff was very polite and efficient and the view from our room was absolutely stunning.
From the moment we stepped out of the car on arrival till the moment we got in the car to go home was first class treatment.

What an amazing experience! Stepped out of the car to a lovely young man waiting to take our bags into the lobby. Check-in was easy and quick, staff were extremely polite and helpful. Room was beautiful and very luxurious and our bags arrived very quickly to our door. I was there for a Cosplay Convention and when I asked for a sewing kit, the concierge brought two out to me straight away without hesitation which made me very relaxed and happy that everything would be done for the next day. Every time you walk in the door, staff are ready to greet you and help you with anything you require or want. Overall, wonderful experience and will definitely be staying here again. If I could give this hotel 20/5 stars or rate it 1000/10 I would, absolutely amazing! Thank you.

Have stayed here twice. Both times very happy. Breakfast buffet is great. Room service was excellent. Comfy beds. Be aware if you have kids there is no pool.

Sadly, this “Five Star” hotel barely deserves 3. The staff are inconsistently trained and, whilst three members of staff could teach hotel procedures and customer service, the rest are sorely lacking in professionalism. Rude service, inconsistent guest treatment, poor catering, and indifferent responses to feedback all contradict the expected quality, and significant pricing. We booked 14 rooms for between 10 and 14 nights, so a very large booking which cost a serious amount of money. Treatment of our guests has been rude and embarrassing, and management response has been unclear, unsatisfying, and ineffective. Maybe it works if you’re just here for a night or two, but attached to a convention centre one would think they would expect to receive longer-stay guests. Would never recommend to anyone — try the Novotel across the road!

Great location. I had a work conference at Melbourne Convention Centre, so a very convenient location for that. However still close enough to Melbourne Central and whatnot to walk or catch a tram to for a night out. Very nice, clean room. Stayed in a bedroom with a queen bed and double bed (ample space for 3 people). Bathroom was very nice and clean with all linen and shower/bath toiletries provided. Breakfast buffet downstairs was also a great option that we were very glad to take advantage of every morning of our stay.

Really nice place. I booked a deluxe king room and didn't realize it came with free lounge access. So free drinks and snacks plus a fantastic room with awesome views. Highly recommended.

Great value hotel!
To Australia more than three years, stayed in the hotel is not less, Pan-Pacific is my favorite one, and today stayed in a bad hotel so think of the Pan Pacific, back to a five-star praise. First of all, this often has discount rooms, more than two hundred hotels a hundred and five can be fixed; This really is too important, that kind of blanket sandwich hotel is really a nightmare.

The room I stayed at in the Pan Pacific Melbourne was the Superior King room with a city view. The room itself was very clean and welcoming. The TV even displayed my name on it upon check in. The bathroom was spacious, clean, and fairly modern. The amenities and toiletries provided are much better than those I've seen at other hotels. If you get the free breakfast option you will not be disappointed. The breakfast has a huge variety of items to choose from — from made to order omelet tes to vegan and vegetarian options — and everything tasted pretty good. The location is the only downside though that depends on what your reason is for visiting. It's right next to the convention center, it is literally connected to it. Which is very convenient for conventions. However, it is a bit further out from the CBD of Melbourne and most other public transit. If you're here to visit Melbourne for fun, just be prepared to walk almost 10 minutes to the nearest tram stop. Overall, the Pan Pacific Melbourne has been a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Great room and lovely service. Would recommend valet if you're going in and out more than twice during 24 hours. Buffet breakfast is great, but could be slightly better maintained. Good variety though.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful. It is close to shopping and connects directly to the convention center. But the best of all is the enormous breakfast buffet that is included with the room. It is international and offer something for everyone including gluten free. They have a juicer so you can make fresh juice daily. The waitstaff is very accommodating and pleasant. I highly recommend staying here while in Melbourne. It is also close to public transportation and has a beautiful view of the river.

We’re from Melbourne and have had a few nights away over the years and I think we have finally found the one place we will always return too! Great service, friendly, immaculate rooms and great views!

Absolutely love Pan Pacific! Just had my wedding ceremony and reception at this beautiful hotel a week or so ago. First but for me most importantly all the staff are attentive, caring, friendly and helpful. Our event organiser made the whole process so easy and nothing was too much. From the initial inquiry to the day of, I couldn't be more happy about how it all went. We had multiple room bookings and changes as well, and it was all handled so smoothly. Nothing was too much to ask. The event room was spectacular, the service staff for the night were amazing, constantly smiling and this helped to light up the room. The rooms themselves are immaculate, so clean and luxurious on all the levels we stayed on. The views are spectacular during the day and at night. Look I cant say enough good things about my experience. 5 stars is definitely not enough! Thank you Pan Pacific Melbourne!

Room decor was very nice and so was the hotel lobby. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. This hotel is very good value for money.

Celebrated 30th wedding anniversary at the Pan Pacific South Wharf. Facilities and staff were 1st Class Staff went out of their way to make us welcome, free room upgrade, complimentary bottle of champagne delivered to room on first night. Dined in restaurant on second night, special mention to Jess whose friendly customer service made our night Highly recommend.

Great location and view, awsome rooms and food, but the thing that makes this such a great place are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful. We had a few ideas where we wanted to go in Melbourne and they saved us time and money with there advise how to get around and also offered other great places to visit and shop. Been here before when it was the Hilton and still the best place in Melbourne. Will be back and thanks again.

A really nice stay at Pan Pacific in South Wharf. Our room was at the top floor, and we got a nice view of the freeway and skyscrapers. I wish it had a pool though.

Great room, post modernist with great bay view from the 19th floor. Nice timber throughout the hotel and a great buffet breakfast. Service is easygoing.

My husband & I stayed here while visiting Melbourne for our wedding anniversary. We were blown away by the hotel & the service. We were upgraded, given a bottle of wine & some chocolates. The location of the hotel is also great, as you are a short walk or tram ride away from the city and a couple of hundred metres away from the Crown, which have a great variety of restaurants to eat at. The buffet breakfast was also great, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We will definitely be staying here again, as well as be looking out for the Pan Pacific brand when looking at planning other holidays.

This hotel is located right next to Melbourne Convention Centre, and was so convenient for the forum I was attending as I only had to roll out of bed and I'm there. This was such a fantastic hotel, with wonderful views of the cityscape. The rooms are fantastic with great bathrooms, luxurious bath products and the best bed, doona and pillows I've had the pleasure of sleeping on! Not to mention the restaurant downstairs served an amazing steak. The whole experience was delightful. A 5 star hotel.

Great hotel in a great spot. Only 25mins from the airport. Very friendly staff and prices seem reasonable. The sky view rooms had a bath, free standing shower, free Wi-Fi, office desk and king size beds… and a great view! Fairly quiet as well. I was here for a conference which was well catered and the conference room was perfect for the number of delegates.

On first appearances, the hotel is quite nice. Everything is clean and modern looking, and the staff are prompt and friendly. The walls must be pretty thin, although my hearing is not great, I could still hear noises from neighbours and in the corridor, I do hope I didn't disturb anyone with my own fumbling around the room. The beds were extremely soft, and when I said this to the staff, they advised they'll have someone "make the bed harder". That night, I discovered they had put a board, 12mm MDF, on top of the mattress, and then put the mattress protector back on the mattress, and made the bed. I may as well have slept on the floor. On the day of checkout, I received a note saying I had consumed something from the minibar, even though I hadn't, but the staff were happy to remove the charge when I told them. Time for some new mattresses guys.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It connects right to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre which is really convenient as we were there for a convention. The room was deluxe and the staff were really lovely too! Definitely an upper echelon hotel and I recommend it.

We love staying at Pan Pacific, the staff are amazing and go out if their way to make our stay special. We are made to feel like VIP's. We stay in a City View Room and the view is awesome and the room's modern. Pan Pacific is the only place we will stay in Melbourne.

Great time staying here. Group booking and everything went to plan. Service is good and friendly. Anything our group needed was attended to promptly. Nice rooms and great location close to everything.

Clean rooms and really comfortable beds with a comprehensive pillow menu. The only aspect of the room which was surprising from a 5 star hotel was the shower — not really up to 5 star quality as the pressure was weak and the shower head seemed cheap (small flow). All other aspects of the room were great though with comprehensive minibar, enough storage space and plenty of sitting space. Concierge and reception staff were absolutely lovely. No spa or pool facilities.

I was here for a conference for the week of 11 December to 16 December 2017. I was initially woken up by construction on the floor below me, but when I alerted management to this issue they moved me to a new room within a few hours. I was pleased with the professionalism and consideration of the staff.

Very poor customer service. In fact the worst I’ve experienced as s business traveler to any hotel worldwide. We’re do I begin with my feedback? It’s been 60 days since my stay and the hotel has not refunded me for a fraudulent charge the hotel staff made on my company card. My phone calls and emails have been virtually ignored. The last I heard was that 30 days ago the finance department was investigating. I should also mention that construction noise and odour of the older rooms was quite pronounced. My company has blacklisted Pan Pacific for the time being.

Thank you so much Organised a room for my brother to stay there after his wedding, room was great with beautiful views. Room 1126 25/11/17 Told the lady at reception that I am paying for the room and my brother will be staying there after his wedding gave my credit card details and asked them to charge everything to that. So all being done my brother does a quick check out the next day as he has a plane to catch for the honey moon and they ask for his card details and charge him and me for the room … There was notes written about that all charges were to be put on my car but was obviously ignored. So I ring and speak to a lovely gentleman who helped out but I now I have to email through a credit card authority form with copy of the card, how am I suppose to do this with my brother is on a plane. You are happy to charge him and me but I have to go through all of this which could take weeks to get a refund on a card that should have never been charged. Not happy I would like the refund put back into my brothers credit card asap please not have to wait 14 working days. I will appreciate a quick response to this as it was suppose to be a gift to my brother on a special day but has now put a sour taste on everything.

Excellent stay here for 4 nights. Staff were helpful and kind. We were provided a card and gift on arrival for my husbands birthday. The room had amazing views, was spacious, clean and well stocked. We had access to the lounge which had lovely breakfast and nice afternoon tea. The downstairs restaurant made great drinks and we also had a nice dinner there which was served very quickly.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in! the staff are lovely and so helpful, the room is beautiful! the view is breath taking from the higher floors… The room service is delicious and quite quick! the bed was amazing — honestly best sleep i've ever had! — — the location was perfect for what I was there for… just wish I could have stayed longer :) definitely recommend, it's well worth the price! First time, I'm the Gold HHonor member, and came with my parents, normal service and normal room, no upgrade. Second time, I'm the Diamond HHonor member, came alone, kind service, but also normal room, upgraded to a city view room. However, I like the breakfast of this Hilton, better than most other hilton in Australia. And I have to say, Melbourne Double tree is extremely awful.

WORST experience — please do not make advanced bookings with this hotel! My sister booked a room at the Hilton for the night of her wedding, then due to unfortunate circumstances she needed to cancel it. She called SIX MONTHS PRIOR to the night she'd be staying there to cancel it but was told she would be charged the full amount even though she couldn't stay there and hadn't even made any payments for it yet. They said they would charge it to her credit card even if they cancelled the booking for her! There was nothing written in the confirmation email she received from them that indicated that she would be charged the full amount if she were to cancel. The Hilton reservation team has been unfair and unreasonable in the way this matter has been handled. I am appalled that such a highly regarded and world renowned hotel can stoop so low to try and make an extra dollar out of a couple who are in a vulnerable situation and already very stressed. I am positive that such a huge company that makes millions upon millions of dollars per year will not lose anything from one cancellation, when they've been given 6 months notice for them to rebook the room. They have acted very carless and ignorant to the whole situation. I have nothing nice to say about the responses that she has received. This matter is still ongoing and the booking still remains as it originally was. She is still going to be charged the full amount, even though she IS UNABLE to stay there… Shame on you Hilton.

Very Unexpected. The room I stayed at had amazing views of the city. Bathrooms was very luxurious and the bed amazing. All in all very good… (Just make sure when booking you ask for a room with city and Yarra views)

One of Hilton's better hotels. Still feels very new with all the mod cons. The rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable. The black out blinds are second to none and make sleeping in after a late night no issue at all. If you get the right side of the hotel the views up the Yarra over the city are some of the best you'll see. Everything is great … except the micro beads in the shower.

Waited a couple hours for the room to be ready. As a consolation, we were given access to the executive lounge during our stay which was great. The in room facilities and decor probably need a renovation. The beds were very comfy. In general, the service from staff was excellent. It was the weekend of our wedding and we were well attended to.

The service was excellent. Initial check in was delayed by 2 hours site to house cleaning, but we were giving executive level access to make up for it, which was great. I would rate the rooms as 4 stars. For example or bathroom door handle was broken and hanging off. Little things like that shouldn't happen in hotel like this.

Hilton Melbourne South Warf was amazing! Because it was our anniversary, they gave us a free room upgrade. Upon arrival we were treated to a free glass of bubbles. Our upgraded room had floor to ceiling windows with amazing city views. Room service waz extremely fast and delicious! All the staff were very friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. Thank you for making our 1 year anniversary a very memorable one.

My stay at the Hitlon South Wharf was for three nights. I was working a conference at the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre. The hotel was ideally located for early morning starts and late night finishes. I stayed in an Executive King room (room 1310) on the thirteenth floor. The room was spacious and comfortable with a fabulous view down the Yarra River towards the city. The bed was very comfortable and there is a pillow 'menu' to suit a variety of preferences. I found the standard pillows that where there on check-in were fine. The bathroom is a good size with a separate bath and shower. The shower had good pressure and was adjustable for height (a blessing for someone who like me who is tall and has only too often had to bend down to wash my hair in hotels with 'short' showers). The bath is nice, long and deep. Ideal for a relaxing soak. The Executive rooms have access to the Executive Lounge which includes breakfast, computer, printer and internet access, and a variety of other services. Unfortunately my conference schedule meant that I didn't have time to take advantage of the lounge; however reports from delegates were positive. The room had both wired and wireless internet access although the $29/day price tag is a bit steep in my opinion. The room service menu has a good variety to choose from and the meals are tasty. The prices are on the more expensive side, but then this is the norm for hotel room service these days.

I've stayed here a few times. From either side the views are great. Tapas bar excellent, and close enough to the city to do everything you'd want to. The valet parking is down in the open car park, so of you want under cover parking there is a multi storey parking place just across the river in Siddeley Street.

Amazing views, luxurious room and amenities. Very comfortable and pleasant stay. Will return when I'm back in Melbourne.

5 star review for the best 5 star hotel in my opinion. Best view in Melbourne, great service and the second best bed I've slept in other than my own!

The view from the 7th floor was great — could see Port Philip Bay and the city. Service was always good. Like a lot of other reviews, Wi-Fi not being available in the rooms in 2015 is unacceptable. The security bond issue is rubbish given three days later it still wasn't refunded. The only other feedback I would give regards having an omelete that was ordered was quite small and not attractive to the eye.

This is our first choice when booking accommodation in Melbourne. The hotel is new, it looks great and is close to many points of interests.

Hilton Sth Wharf used to be our favourite place to stay in Melbourne but our last visit was disappointing. We paid a bit extra to stay in a city view room but got a bay/DFO view. As we walked in the room after check-in a big cockroach ran across the floor from under the bed. Yuk! We expect a lot more from the Hilton. On a positive note the beds are still beautifully comfortable and luxurious.

Amazing. Stayed at the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf for New years 2013/14. Had a great stay in the King family room. Heaps of room and staff where friendly helpful and excited for the new year. Thank you for such a memorable way to bring on 2014.
