Big clean rooms @ good location. Lots of lovely quaint cafes & restaurants nearby & walking distance to shopping centers like Myers, David Jones, BigW, Woolworths, etc.
Convenient transportation too! Recommended especially for families.

We were so dissatisfied with them! we have sent them several emails without response. Our plane was hit by lightening and we couldnt get another flight for 3 days which was when we were due to fly home and they refuse to give us a refund even though we notified then straight away.

Great place for a weekend getaway.

We Loved our stay at mantra on Little Bourke, it is in a Great Location for shopping, Sporting activities or Concerts, rooms are spacious, well furnished with comfortable beds. Would Highly Recommend and stay again.

Kept getting told 3 different things by 3 different people which meant that we had no idea what was going on. The assistant manager was rude.

Great location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby (convenient store, late night restaurants, breakfast etc. ). Spacious rooms (one bedroom apartment), friendly staff and sufficient facilities like gym and sauna.

Cute hotel in Little Bourke St. Very convenient indeed! Mantra Hotel group has lots of hotels in cbd areas. The market is so competitive that it always pays to compare in the internet for promotion and deals before booking a place to stay!

Wonderful receptionist and staff at breakfast. They all looked after my mum and Aunty and accommodated them again and helped booked another room last minute. The location is perfect and rooms were spacious.

Always stay here. Great rooms & location. Beats the tiny little rooms most hotels offer. Had an issue with being given the wrong room which was quickly rectified & we were upgraded to a suite, free breakfast, wine & cheese board. Fantastic service +++

Fantastic friendly staff extremely helpful and obliging, it’s the first time we have stayed and we will be back even ended up with a complimentary upgrade. Valet car parking so no stress about your car! Can’t recommend this beautiful accommodation more highly. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Nice hotel, large suites, friendly staff, great CBD location. No robes or slippers, we asked for them and were asked if er were VIP guests. We weren't, so maybe ask before booking to learn how to have an amenity that most hotels seem to offer.

Mantra on Little Bourke excellent… head office not so… 8 emails & replies from 7 different people, not reading previous emails…

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The free internet need access code to get access to. Each have 1GB to 3GB only. It's quite annoying to keep calling the recipiention for new access code. The room is spacious but dark.

Good service and large room space. Good location as it is within the CBD and the free tram area.

Room was large and nice. Very quiet and comfortable. Shower was a bit moldy but overall great stay. Also great location for work. Not sure if it's a great location for sight seeing though.

Staff are exceptional. Wife and I stayed for our 20th anniversary. It was our second stay. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Melbourne.
Very clean, comfy beds, bath tubs! Fantastic breakfast available. All in the heart of Melb but tucked away at the same time. Thank you to the fantastic helpful staff. Nice to see customer service is not dead.

My stay at The Mantra on Little Burke Street. Room good. Bigger than I expected. Good location. Staff very courteous. Would definitely stay again. Even has it own gym and free wi fi.

Brillianty accommodation. Beautifully decorated in modern contemporary style. Spotlessly clear. Separate bedroom, living asbd kitchen areas. Extremely central to everywhere.

Central location, great quality rooms and the service was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and modern. We enjoyed a relaxing stay, with great food thanks to room service and a buffet breakfast. Looking forward to staying again next time we visit Melbourne.

My room was huge and lovely and the service was great. Will definitely come back again.

For a 5 star hotel I was not impressed with no air-conditioning in our rooms. The best they could do was offer a pedestal fan on the hot night that we were there! The rest of the service was first class but overall a poor experience for the price.

Location is great. Room was clean, spacious and complete. Beds were wrong (Twin instead of Queen), we asked to replace the beds, they promised they will do it in the morning, the staff in the morning said they have no record of such promise.

First of all, there are 2 Mantra's on Little bourke. I stayed the one that's new. Room was very good. It had kitchenette, lounge and separate bedroom. Bed was really comfortable with 1000 TC bed sheets and bed cover. Amazing feather pillows. Downside was my room was opposite to an office, less privacy. Internet was really awful. They only gave me 1 GB per day. But the speed was horrendous. Over priced morning buffet (It came with my booking but original price was $28 or something. )

Great location in the city, good customer service by the staff and they are ever so helpful as I was Travelling with 2 young boys. Centrally located that you can easily get to a tram stop or just walk to the Victoria market, crown casino or Melbourne central. Highly recommend any Mantra chain of hotels.

The best place to stay in Melbourne. Great service, excellent location. Near the shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well appointed rooms. Very quiet at night. Spacious rooms with a buffet breakfast.

Wonderful service. Stayed here twice and would again. Clean rooms with all amenities. Plentiful power outlets in the rooms which is not common in many hotel rooms.

Went into Mantra on Little Bourke for a quiet drink. The place was clean and comfortable. The young man behind the bar was very professional, polite and more than happy to keep his clientele happy. Definitely a positive experience and will definitely be going back.

Refurb really good and got a free room upgrade to a massive spa room. Shame I was only there for 1 night! Would recommend as staff were very friendly and professional.

Room is a large, clean and fairly modern. I was on level 7 which makes it nice and quiet. Good location for accessing the CBD, about a 15min walk to Flinders St station.

Great location to go anywhere in Melbourne and great sized rooms. Although the Wi-Fi service is a little too expensive being only 1GB limit.

Great service. Some refreshing of the rooms needed, carpet looks old, no inroom safe but good sleep.

Popped in for a quick coffee. Service says quick and coffee was nice.

The aircondition works very bad and it is manual old system. Luckily they are willing to help with it. Gym closes very early and sauna it is not warm enough. The washing machine are often busy and they cost 5 dollars. The wirelesse is ofteb slow! All the rest work well!

Sorry folks, didn't rate this place, terrible breakfast and even worse beds, definitely won't be back. One +, very friendly staff. That's their strongest asset IMO.

We had a great weekend, the room was very clean and spacious and quiet, location was excellent walking distance to some great cafes and restaurants. We will be back next year 2016 for another relaxing weekend.

Room was nice, despite not very recent furniture, and location was perfect. But you couldn't turn off air conditioning in any way, so it was freezing cold and, moreover, the fan was quite noisy, so it was hard to sleep at night, also because the air was flowing exactly to my face. Moreover, they did not offer free Wi-Fi which I think is unacceptable for this kind of hotel.

Have been staying here for work over the last month. Spacious room and friendly staff. The restaurant is not great for the $ they charge and had to ask 3 times for bathroom tap to be fixed, but still happy overall.

We took a punt on this hotel based on location and the fact that it's "standard" rooms are suites. I mentioned when booking the room that we were visiting Melbourne for our wedding anniversary and we got upgraded to a premier executive suite on the 10th floor (only one other floor above being the penthouse/s floor). Check In was easy and the lady at reception (Maggy) noted that it was our wedding anniversary and informed us of the room upgrade. The room is huge with a partition separating the sleeping area from the lounge and kitchenette area and bathroom. The room was well appointed and quite tastefully furnished. It was clean and modern. The view was nothing to write home about but we didn't really choose this hotel for views so we weren't disappointed. Location is great. Walking distance to Chinatown and Myer Emporium and 15 min to Southbank area. Being right in the middle of the CBD and situated on Little Bourke St, the hotel precinct is surprisingly quiet. Lots of little restaurants and cafes located within walking distance too. All in all, a lovely stay! Definitely met our expectations and thoroughly recommended.

If you are looking to stay no longer that 2 days the hotel its alright and in a good location,, I don't know if its just me that run into a bad bad experience, I don't think they actually do the cleaning properly since I have founded nails on the bathroom floor that are not mine and after a week and a few complains are still there :/, air condition situation its crazy you actually get this dial with no number and doesn't control anything anyways so you actually get freeze to death or boiled I wouldnt recommend this hotel if you have allergies or if you like your floor to be clean.

Not the best for the price.

Currently staying here for work. Even the basic rooms are big and roomy. The kitchen facility is a handy thing to have. Broadband is very expensive, so suggest getting a pre paid wireless device. Restaurant has great food and service.
