Hotel room very small, bathroom very old and needs an upgrade. Convenient with central location but wouldn’t recommend staying here.

It was quiet, for superior room bit small not happy about having to wait week for deposit back.

Booked a room for myself and husband — made a note on the email which was sent to the hotel 3 MONTHS before we booked in that I needed a rollaway bed for my son —
On checking in to the hotel I was informed that I had booked a double room and I needed to upgrade to a room which would accommodate my son — which would be an extra $350! — The concierge admitted that they did receive my email They failed to contact me so that I could make and informed decision whether to make other arrangements or make the decision if I wanted to pay an upgrade for $350 prior to me standing in the lobby with my bags! They were very very unhelpful and just wanted to argue with me — I went back to the booking company and they admitted that it was a big mistake and kindly offered me $35 back I went back to the concierge and they be grudgingly gave me $35
back — but I still had to pay out over $250 that morning as we stood in the lobby with no choice but to book in — have stayed at this hotel many times but after this will not be using it again

Nice place, very convenient location and easy to get around when you need to go to shops, places to eat, etc. The rooms are cleaned every day and beds are made. It's just a GREAT place to be in. The ANZ bank is just a few meters away too. So convenient.

Staff were very nice on check in and check out was easy. There is an optional buffet breakfast which is great if you have to leave early for check out or a tour. Otherwise, there are cafes located in the laneway outside the front door. The lift is slow and there is another lift change to get to the upper floors however this is not a deal breaker. The room is neat and clean with all the mod cons including power point for charging tech. There is some noise from the clock across the road, however, I still managed to sleep through it. The Wi-Fi works great but is time limited for some reason. The location is great though, the hotel is accessible to Bourke St. Via a Laneway so close to Bourke St. Mall, Block and Royal Arcades, G. P. O and the trams. So if this location is your main criterion then you cannot go wrong here. I would definitely stay here again, especially for the post-Christmas sales.

Great location. Elevators are slow. Room is just a pace to sleep. 3rd time staying here due too great price and location.

A quaint little motel hidden in the side streets of the mall. The place was clean and had all the basics. The staff were very friendly and obliging. A great place to stay for the weekend if you're looking to get away for the weekend to shop and eat. My daughter and I went for a girls' weekend away and wanted somewhere close to the shops. It is close to the free city trams, Flinders St station and is surrounded by lots of great little cafes and restaurants. They even minded our bags after checkout so we could go and look around some more. Could only give 4 stars because the building was old and a little outdated but could not fault them on service and convenience. Will definitely stay here again!

Great location, but breakfast was a little average and when we checked in no-one explained the Wi-Fi situation.

Rooms are small, but have been in smaller. Great location to shopping, trams, trains and attractions. Would recomend it to anyone.

If I could give zero stars I would. Would never come back here it’s a joke depends on who’s working at the front watch out for the fella with the eyebrows.

The room was small, but the bed was comfortable and room was clean. Definitely good value for money. Continental breakfast was included and parking price was great… charge was per exit. WE used free tram while we were there, so only had 1 exit charge the day we checked out. Location is fantastic! Would definitely stay again.

Central, walking distance of shops and transportation, great service for baggage storage, nice staff.

Was in early January. Staff was very accommodating. Moved me to another room when the air-conditioning was insufficient. Gave me extra pillows to raise my sprained ankle. Made my five night stay pleasant. Will book again.

The hotel is nothing fancy. Really old rooms and bathrooms. Staff can't be bothered with anything and seem inexperienced. But the location is perfect in the middle of the CBD. Price is ok. The place isn't that clean and dusty.

Impossible to get some sleep. I was looking for a resolution and the manager encouraged me to put a bad review instead of looking after the issue.

Located at the heart of melbourne, bourke street. Room is small but cozy, clean. Staff are very helpful. The main lift need to be upgrade, lift spoilt for one day during our staff and all of us need to claim stairs to get up to our room. Breakfast had not much varieties.

I paid for a superior room top dollar $259per nighr got a tiny hot room. Breakfast should have been included but was not paid way too much for that as well only basic continental. Will never stay there again.

Room is not that big but worth the price, staffs are friendly. And the location is brilliant for tourist because it is right in the middle of the city.

Awesome hotel close to all amenities within walking distance hotel on tram route to southern cross station.

Convenient location. Very easy to get to from both airports as it and southern cross are both in the free tram zone. Great restaurants nearby. Rooms are small but decently priced. No mini bar but that means you won't pay $10 for a mars bar (lol). Also make sure you book breakfast online (it's a lot cheaper). Only thing is that the vending machine doesn't have a card reader so just be prepared. It's also very easy to get to St Kilda and the Crown (just hop on tram 96).

Very very small rooms, with very basic amenities. Bed linen caused multiple rashes on skin for me and wife. Toilets clean but has a stink. Carpeted floor is dusty. Apart from all these, it's right in the middle of the major shopping malls in Melbourne. Great for shopping. But not satisfactory for comfort.

Excellent location. Free Wi-Fi sucks, which forces you to pay for "high speed". Big and clean rooms. Breakfast options were poor.

Convenient location, but disappointing service after making a complaint about our air conditioning. We let the staff know before going out to dinner that the air conditioning wasn't working & was blowing out hot air. When we returned, the staff said it was because we had it switched off & they had now turned it on for us (we had only switched it off because it wasn't working). The staff obviously just switched it on & didn't check it because when we got back to our room it was disgustingly hot. We called guest services & they had no solution for us, saying that it can't be fixed & they have no other rooms available… So here we are sitting in our hot room with the windows open trying to cool it down so that we can hopefully sleep tonight. Hotel was good otherwise, but very frustrated by this situation & the way it was handled.

Room was OK (probably about right for the price given the excellent location! ) Clean and well serviced. The lift from the lobby to the 2nd floor is laughably slow (including the door taking aaages to open) and is slightly concerning in the way it moves. The second lift (floors 3 and up) is a lot newer but makes your stomach jump when it comes to a stop. Neither a pleasant experience!

If you are using the shuttle bus from the airport it will drop you off right next to the mall leaving you a short 4 mins walk if that to the hotel. Hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are very helpful. The beds are not good for people with back issues and I do suffer back issues so I was in a bit of pain due to this but overall the hotel is lovely and the rooms are very nice. Good bathroom facilities and a nice space around the bed to put your bags etc. The heating didnt work in our room for the first 2 nights so the hotel did give us a discount due to this.

Convenient location! Bang opposite H&M and Myer. Walking distance to everywhere. Even the the tram stop is right near. Plenty Vegetarian and Halal options of food nearby. The hotel itself has a friendly staff. However we had issues checking in, as the agent who booked us in, did not include my 5 year old son. Clearly there was Asian parenting at play. Cos my child still co sleeps with us. However, the hotel charged us 65$ over the room rate we had already paid. This was for the "Amenities " available to the child. They had no children's networks on tv. Neither was a breakfast edible. Cold toast with marmalade, vegemite or Apricot jam! However, the duty manager was kind enough to let us cancel the 2nd nights stay with no cancellation charge. And we were lucky enough to find other options for the second night. The check out staff, Anika and Dona were very kind to help us check out without incident and helped us secure the luggage we left behind while we explored the amazing city!

Centrally located hotel, where every interesting place is Melbourne you can walk or by tram that stops right in front of the hotel entrance.
Comfort and quality in the average, breakfast well-stocked.

'Ramsah' the gentleman who served me was rude and did a poor job explaining the answers to my questions. Wouldn't recommend.

Decent enough for when visiting Melbourne and is in a perfect location to everything. In the heart of the city and can catch free trams.

Great location (extremely handy for the shopping centre of Melbourne and a really handy place for a tourist to stay), great service, nice clean rooms and fantastic value for money!

Good location for the inner city but not a great quality interior.

There is nothing to like about this inn/ hotel whatever they call themselves. Please do not waste your precious dollars here, I booked this hotel for 5 nights. I have been given only one bottle of water no drinking glass, when asked for more they said the policy is to serve only one bottle of water. Anyway they ended up giving me another bottle as there was no glass left. I paid 1300 dollars for 5 nights so I belive this is simply poor customer service or hotel policy. The location is convinient, however the air conditioner was simply disfunctional. So I am suffering in this scrothing heat of Melbourne, I storngly recommend everyone to consider other options before booking this stupid inn/hotel.

Absolutely awful experience. The double room had an ensuite and every time you had a shower the smoke alarm came on. At one point reception came up to check I wasn't setting anything on fire — which is all good. They continued to come in another 4 times. At one point the man took off his shoes, placed my only towel on the bed and stood up on it. Never did he offer me a new towel, new sheets, provide the room with spray from his smelly feet or apologise. The once imagined relaxing night turned into hell and was interrupted a total of 5 times from 8pm — 12am. I also had a package to include breakfast in which the servers tried to charge me $12 for a piece of toast. The receptionist when I checked in also charged me a $50 bond in which I was never informed on booking.

Great location, the room was ideal and the price was fabulous. What more can you ask for.

Worst experience in a hotel! We booked online and after arriving found that our room toilet was not working. I asked for our room to be exchanged and the lady working at reception was very rude with a poor attitude. We were told the hotel was fully booked and that they could not do anything to help. After much argument she agreed to send maintenance up to have a look which did not happen until I asked again a few hours later. Maintenance guy didn't seem to care and then after requesting the manager and a full refund we were told that the 72 hour cancellation policy would be upheld! Very disappointed that paying $131 for one night in a room meant we would have to stay in a room with a broken toilet. After much more arguing the insulted us with a $25 discount however I refused and demanded a full refund without fees which we finally got. Eventually after much arguing.

Really good location to everything we wanted to do, and we walked everywhere! Train/bus station, trams, visitors centre, shopping precincts, aquarium, etc. Really good.

We had 5 adults in our group, and found the motel to be clean, tidy with a great position in the middle of melbourne. The breakfast was included every morning but there was no internet access in the room. (you could pay at their kiosk) the rooms were small but the deal they have with the wilson's carpark was great. $19 for the whole 3 days we were parked there.
