Excellent location. Quiet and easy walk to shops and tram. Bit of a challenge if you have a car as parking spaces near the apartments are at a premium during most days. Parking for a daily fee under the building is available. Reception was very helpful. Will stay at Adara again.

Cleaning service is shocking, bed cover pulled over but bed not made. Bathroom left uncleaned. Appears as though under age and undertrained cleaners are utilized. Utensils in kitchen dirty on check in and hopelessly inadequate. Room ventilation poor. Do not recommend!

Nice clean quiet room backing on to Judd st on 2nd floor, much better than last room on ground floor Lennox St. Staff helpful and friendly, good location near Bridge Rd.

We just arrived the accommodations are great and spacious. The hotel is centrally located.

I was completely and utterly screwed by Adara and Expedia. I booked accomodation back in May for this month to participate in cancer charity fundraisers, which unfortunately due to my own breast reconstruction surgery could not attend, so I cancelled my Expedia booking two weeks prior to the planned stay, only to be contacted on the evening of the 13th at 9:45pm stating I had another booking and when was I checking in. Given I have just had surgery I missed this call and returned it the next day to be advised I would be charged regardless of the situation and the staff member advised there’s ‘no way you’ll get a refund’ (I was unaware of this alleged other booking as I never received anything about it) but even though I have the emails to demonstrate I was unaware of the booking and Expedia requesting the hotel waive the charges given I didn’t use the room and clearly would of cancelled if I was aware just as I did with the booking I knew about Adara has chosen to charge the full $500 to my account. Great customer service and ethical business! Will NOT be recommending Adara or Expedia,

Convenient location near Epworth Hospital and plenty of great eateries nearby. Rooms are well furnished decent sizes.

Nice, comfortable accommodation, close to the city. Staff is helpful. Housekeeping service needs to be improved as the room was not vacuumed everyday, toilet was cleaned only once in 6 days and some days amenities were replenished other days they were not.

Very helpful staff. Made our stay pain free and most importantly stress free DEFINITELY recommend this hotel. I know I will be staying here again.

We stayed there for 6 nights. Staff at reception is really helpful. We needed accommodation with parking at a very short notice. Even though there was no parking available, staff gave us their own parking space for first two nights. Apartments are spacious and clean. The place is very close to city, with plenty of food options available. Tram stop is at 2 mins walk. Kitchen is decent size and has everything you would need. I am taking away one star because of some issues with their housekeeping. It was a hit and miss. The iron was leaking water and was dangerous to use. It stopped working midway and tripped the fuse when we were using it. Toilet was cleaned only once in 6 days. One day they forgot to provide enough towels. But all the issues were promptly fixed by a call to reception. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there again.

Nice apartment style hotel all you need is in your room and it has everything you need if your are staying for a while.

Good location for the footy and food, pubs and shopping. Good size room and amenities… a bit annoying that the kids bed (pull out lounge) … is in front of the TV.

My 4 day experience was very good only problem Parking on site very limited and street parking only available certain times of the day. Staff were fantastic.

Apartments were well serviced. Staff very helpful. Adara is situated over the road from the Epworth Richmond Hospital.

Booked 2 bed apartment, as others have said you get two apartments and not a 2 bed apartment. Not good when you have a baby. Light in entrance does not turn off. Apartment is grimy and bathroom grout mouldy. Bathrooms small with little room for wash bags and not enough hooks to hang towels. Security is poor: anyone can get to higher levels in complex, without keycard. No parking. Currently there is a building site next to this property and at 7.30am a very loud drill is echoing throughout the premises. Wouldn't stay at Adara again. Friendly staff all the same.

On arrival the room looked great. Big bed, large kitchen. Good size tv. Very good sized clothes washer and dryer. But there were problems. The bed mattress was very hard and didn't suit me. The plug got stuck in the bathroom basin and they had to get the repairman. The shower has no soap dispenser. The shower grout is stained. I dropped a small amount of shave cream in the bathroom floor. When I wipped it up the floor was clearly very dirty. The bathroom vanity was small. Not enough room for a toilet bag etc. Very disappointed.

Apartment with 2 rooms booked for one night, this ended up being 2 separate apartments with one central corridor door. Bed in room 221 level 2 was appallingly uncomfortable, the king bed in other room was great. Pull out sofa was also extremely uncomfortable and smoke could be smelt in it despite no smoking allowed. Rooms quite dark. Empty box for shower cap. Couldn't get microwaves to work in either room. Kettle and toaster hidden too high in cupboard, hard to reach for height challenged oldies. Air conditioner very noisy. The best thing about the place is the close proximity to Epworth hospital, a short walk up hill. Dined around corner at Hollywood on the Hill, very ordinary, glorified fish and chip shop, wouldn't go there again. Would only contemplate staying here again for convenient location to hospital otherwise extremely overpriced for what you get.

Stayed there 2 nights so handy to epworth hospital a 2 minute walk. Great room very helpful staff. I was able to order in tea very handy.

Some customer service lacking as far as room cleaning goes. Also security requires a big shake up. On our last night stay we were awakened by loud screaming and swearing from a group of guests, apparently guests had asked some men back to their room and things git right out of hand. It took well over an hour to contain this mess meanwhile we were nit feeling all that safe and certainly did not get back to sleep. A horrible way to finish what was a great visit to Melbourne.

Absolutely right location for visiting Epworth hospital as was our instance. Very comfortable. Clean. Hospitable. Car parking was limited but available if booked.

There is a living room kitchenette kitchen washing machine dryer, space design comfortable, near supermarkets and a lot of outlet.

Overall good experience. Clean and nice rooms. A bit of jazz was playing on the radio as I came in. Nice.

The room is very clean, well-equipped, the space is also big, the tram is very convenient, nearby also needs to have many restaurants and the supermarket, the life function is also good, not too noisy.

The rooms were a bit small but great kitchen, no view and room service included daily. It is central to Richmond and close to Coles if you like to cook your own meals.

As a basic place — this is nice. The room was self sufficient and the (reception) staff helpful. And the complementary baked goods in reception is also useful.

Stayed there overnight for a wedding in Melbourne. Parking my car was horrible… my deposit of $100 was frozen by bank for 3-4 weeks. Not happy.

I am here for a on-site client visit. The apartment hotel is really close to the trams and is conveniently place near Bridge Road, where it houses lots of good restaurants. Adara Richmond has a nice vibe to it, and it's really a comfortable to be in. The place is well equipped and all the appliances are in working conditions. Upon arrival, the front desk was very warm and welcoming. Makes you feel at home.

I have been working here for more than a year as a housekeeper. The management decided to go on a low budget and kicked us all out (housekeeping staff) shamelessly. Not to mention that we were supposed to train the new staff (who are now been paid very less than they deserve) before we leave. I highly discourage this selfish, greedy-for-money apartment which continuously fails to satisfy the needs of the guests as well as their own employees.

The location is perfect, it takes me less than 5 minutes to the tram stop. Room is spacious, clean and cozy. The room also provides washing machine, kicthenwares and toaster. Excellent services from the reception. Will definitely be back again!

Great apartment and location, but the beds are terrible. We stayed 5 nights and were only told on leaving that we could have requested an apartment with a 'new mattress'. Why was it up to us? They knew we were staying for 5 nights? Did they just assume we would not complain? Also — we paid $30 per day for parking thinking this would hold a parking place for us — but when there were no parks available one evening on returning to the hotel, we were told there was nothing they could do and we would have to park on the street and then move the car into the car park before 7am when the fee for street parking commenced.

We are booked in there again at the end of next month for two nights because of the great facilities and excellent staff! My work had booked me into Southbank originally and I made them cancel that booking and book me in here again! Highly recommend!

Before I moved to Melbourne, this was my choice of accommodation for my business trips to Melbourne. Friendly staff, comfortable apartments and a convenient location away from the city centre but close enough.

Rude manager who would not honor the confirmed reservation. Leaving my son's 21st family members with no where to stay. Very unhelpful and uncaring.

Beyond impressed, the service and attention to detail by all of the staff here is second to none. We felt welcomed every single time we entered the door, from reception staff right through to passing staff in the hallways. More than affordable. And more than suprised. we will definatly be back! I would recommend Adara to anyone who wants to be treated like royalty whilst on a getaway!

Stayed here with my 10 month old while my husband had an operation at the epworth. Great location and nice rooms but was hugely disappointed to receive a noise complaint from staff about a crying baby. Great way to make a mother feel better when she can't console her teething son! Ended up going for a drive and as he fell asleep while driving slept in the car in their car park! Thanks adara.

The room was amazing, more than I was expecting. I believe we got a good deal, and definitely got more than we paid for. We stayed for one night, the day after Valentines day, and it made for a very romantic location. My girlfriend and I were very impressed by the standard of the room and hotel.

Good average rooms in a good location. Parking is extra and not always available so book it when booking your room.
