The food as always superb, service was excellent. 👍

Old world charm, a resort feel, heated covered pool. Great for families, groups or individual travellers. Excellent customer service and delicious food served in Oliver’s Restaurant and private event rooms.

Absolutely lovely staff!
Very clean and comfy. After booking another hotel online and arriving to find it being nothing like was advertised and terrifying… we had a few hours to find an alternative at 5pm on New Year’s Eve. The staff were very accomodating, and even gave us some free glasses of bubbly! Would book again for sure!

We had a small intimate family Wedding in the most beautiful function room this week at the Canterbury International Hotel. The room was set up beyond my expectations and the food was brilliant. More than anything else, the service is without a doubt, World Class. There is nothing better than feeling like you have been treated with such a level of service that you feel special. Thanks to everyone at The Canterbury International for making our function such a success!

We had a lovely early Fathers Day lunch last year and highly recommend this place for casual and Formal do’s… the service is amazing and the food to die for… we will be back hopefully in June for an 80th Birthday party. Thanks to Management and staff for making us feel really special and welcome.

We couldn’t get our tour bus and had to park down the road and the long distance up and stairs from the dining room was very confusing but the staff were most helpful.

The beds were amazingly comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

An impressively elegant hotel in the suburbs. It's also a great spot for locals looking for a smart brunch, lunch or dinner in a serene and spacious dining room. Plenty of parking available.

Nice place to stay. The only negative thing is that breaky was $27.50. And my partner didn't enjoy it. I asked for the man at the counter to fax some paperwork for me only to find out later that only 1 page was faxed. The other 3 didn't get done at 265.00 per night I expected more.

They had very noisy guests shouting up the corridors in the middle of the night around 3am and when I complained in the morning they said there was nothing they could or would do about it! I also put my complaint in an email and it was never answered.

For the first time ever I left something (my phone charger) behind. Realising at the airport at 6am I rang the Clarion & gave details fir the item to be sent to me. This has never happened, and the charger was not returned. I would not recommend the Clarion on Canterbury, and I will not stay here again. I am not impressed with this lack of a simple service that could have easily been rectified.

Food was quite nice, function rooms were well equipped, staff were lovely.

This hotel is located near Hi-way and the bus stop just on the other side of the road. The rooms are nice and clean. You can park in the front if not full or at the back. There's parking for disabled or for special needs located at the front door. The perfect venue for special occasion including Birthdays, Engagement Parties, Valentines Day and of course Christmas.

Nice and convenient place to stay, very close to public transport and shopping centres. Forest hill and glen waverley shopping centres are the closest. Food is good and price is affordable. Ringwood shopping centre is 10 minutes drive you can have fun and find good diningvplaces there. Nearest train station is Nunawading 3-5 min drive. Or 5 min by bus. Rooms are very nicely decorated and staff is very friendly. Parking is available. Taxi service is availabe 24 hrs.

Ate brunch here, good service, SUPER quiet place… Good food, variety of food, nice waiters.

The location is lovely, and the building definitely stands out. Parking was a little bit of an issue and wasn't sign posted too well. The interior is luxurious and service is fantastic, and the food is tasty. They have been very accommodating for our professional event and I will definitely be using them personally in the future if I have the opportunity.

Great place to stay, comfortable and well appointed room with a beautiful bathroom. Good location. Quiet room considering heavy traffic outside. Would definitely stay again.

We have used the Clarion On Canterbury on several occasions over the past 12 months and periodically over the past 5 years! There is simply no better 'value for money' conference package in the Eastern Suburbs in our extensive experience! The service from the conference team has continued to improve each and every visit and Yantou and his team do an amazing job hosting our conference delegates. Don't delay book your event and enjoy the Clarion difference.

Have been once for a business breakfast seminar. Ample parking, good presentation and good facilities. Breakfast provided was good. Recommended.

Nice hotel that was comfortable enough. It just needs to pay attention to finer details such as not leaving open biscuit packets from previous guest, putting a bag in bins and folding rather than shoving blankets in cupboards. I also didn't appreciate housekeeping speaking so loud outside our door in the morning. Then going into the room next door and banging on the walls. The hotel is nice in an old person way and not decorated in a modern way. (That's just a personal taste thing) Everything was great except for housekeeping!

Stayed in room 211 next to the foyer and reception desk got woken up all night and noises at 6am from the room aboves bathroom! For the price that the room cost I expected much better! Other than that room was nice and very clean!

One of the most truly friendly places I have ever been. The staff a great, the rooms big, clean and cosy, the restaurant is great and the bar well stocked. Have held functions here too and the ball rooms etc are fantastic and the catering delicious.

I have held numerous work functions at the Clarion and the staff are always nice, the rooms are nice and they were very helpful and willing to work with me to meet my needs and demands. I would recommend the venue and would choose the Clarion on Canterbury again to hold future functions. Only issue, is that car spaces was a small issue for some of our clients, but other than that, I have no complaints.

Nice decor, comfy bed, reasonable location though not much in the way of local facilities. Internet limited download and only worked for the first night.

Last Tuesday night there was a group of us for a friends birthday dinner. The food was exquisite and the whole experience was lovely. The unique decor created a beautiful atmosphere and our waiter Zane was the best waiter. He was professional yet showed a side of his personality which was great to see all the while delivering that special touch you would expect from such an establishment. His attention to detail was fantastic and no request was too much trouble.

I have been going there for many years. The conference rooms and staff are always great. They do whatever they can to ensure we get everything we need. All the delegates we send there for accommodation are always happy. No doubt the best venue in the area — I always look forward to having meetings there whether they be casual or formal. Lovely decor, old world style. Great service and the food was delicious. My duck was excellent as was the dessert. Good wine list, with quite a few by the glass. A real surprise to have such a good restaurant in this area.
