Feast was great! Budget friendly, quality, well cooked buffet and the hostess was so friendly and professional! Had great recommendations for a first-time-Feaster, friendly to our table and always had a smile.
Next time I’m back in the Gully I’ll be coming back for another Feast! Off I go now to slip into something more comfortable (i. E. A food coma)

Went to Feast Easter Sunday. Have been here many times.
But has gone down hill food was all barely lukewarm. And flavourless and not a big variety. Won't be back.

My daughter's 21st was held in 'the Middle ' function room last weekend. The finger food selection and quality was outstanding. Donna and Jacqui went above and beyond with the service, decorating and attention to detail, right down to finding rose gold balloons. The bar and wait staff were very professional, including making sure our guests with dietary requirements received food from the special platters we ordered.
Our guests raved about the venue and indicating they would make future bookings.
We had such a fabulous, stress free evening, I strongly recommend you book your next event here!

I just recently had my daughters 21st birthady celebration at Ferntree Gully Hotel in The feass area, we booked the whole place which catered for 250 people… The place itself is wonderful, caters for families, the food is amazing and very, very fresh, the service were wonderful, lovely staff members, friendly and professional, the indoor enclosed playground is very safe and handy for children… I would recommend Ferntree Gully for big functions such as wedding reception, birthdays, engagements or any functions for 200+ people… all comes at a reasonable prize…

We had a few events here, always find the staff friendly, great food, clean environment, a play ground for the kids, great value for money. $5 Parma every Sunday before 2pm and they are big meal, I highly recommend this $5 meal downstairs at the Bar. Also a $10 meal Monday to Friday at the Bar. Great value for money. I will return soon.

For starters the gaming room is so small and dark and you feel so depressed in there even worse at night … The Pokies never pay out I never see anybody win there anymore … Zagames Boronia is a better place the ceilings are higher and the room is much bigger and well lit and also you have a better chance of winning on the Pokies there as here they don't pay anything back to the public … I drive the extra trip when staying at my brothers home in Upwey to go to another gaming venue as this one has become a dump and I will never go back!

Went with a friend last night from Belgrave to your gaming room and we felt unsafe as the place is full of druggies and weirdos… We left after 10 minutes and headed to another venue for drinks and a flutter on the Pokies and felt a lot safer there… Your gaming venue is in the same state as when we went earlier in the year and I will never go back there…

Value for money is certainly found at the Ferntree Gully Hotel. Expectations were reached and then some! Some of the bathrooms could use updating, but the beds were very comfortable and the facilities were more than reasonable for the price. Cute little breakfast boxes provided are a really neat idea. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Lovely local pub. The carpark is so big that the Silver Circus can operate here for two weeks! The good old circus where skilful people do their tricks! I am glad I went there!

Dinner there was awesome! The food was great and staff were great with the (4) kids.

Feast bistro is just beautiful. The food is really nice, always fresh, plenty of choices especially for celiac people. The staff are just lovely and happy to help with whatever we need. Would and do recommend to everyone =) The only issue was we had a guest with a pram, And the disabled entrance had a manual, heavy to open door. Where the main entrance has auto doors but stairs before you get to the lift. Take care and have a helper if you have a wheelchair or pram!

Pub's outside appearance is pretty dated. Needs some serious update. Great food. Dessert menu however needs improvement. Their rooms were lovely and inviting though.

Had a 40 people birthday party in the bistro on June 23rd. The food was plentiful and tasty and the staff were lovely and helpful without being "in your face". A big thanks to Amy the chef and Anthony, the manager as they made our night special.

Very disappointed in quality & quantity of food. The pork roast & veggies were ok. The roast beef overcooked. The lasagne was revolting & the Asian was 2 choices (honey chicken & chilli squid) plus noodles & rice… quality was probably better in a nursing home. Empty trays… barely any choice of food really. Soft drink was watery & staff whilst friendly didn't clear plates regularly enough & we were charged different amounts for same drinks?! Suggestion: try spending a little more on the food. All you can eats are usually packed out butyr place was like a morgue! Clearly yr not listening to what's needed!

Great accommodation for the price. Freshly renovated room with great bathroom facilities. Dining facilities at the adjoining hotel were also great with discounted prices.

Great venue. The only problem I had was lack of signage to inform the public how to get to the main front bar and lack of disability ramps for wheel chair people to to the back bar areas. Otherwise it's a great venue and great food as well.

All you can eat seafood smorgasbord, who could resist that. Seafood was fresh and delicious, nice clean venue and helpful staff. A very good night had by all.

The staff were happy, helpful and well presented. Good play area for children. It keeps noise level of children down. The downsides were the faintly smell of cigarette smoke in the room and the toilet needed to be cleaned thoroughly.

Room: Clean, large and well-appointed. Loved the black and white decor. Artwork a few notches up from the usual, Bed and pillows extremely comfortable with pristine white bed linen. Minus: the room smelt faintly of cigarette smoke. Bathroom: Plenty of toiletries and linen. Room and handbasin clean. Minuses: Toilet needed to be cleaned thoroughly. Toilet seat was too small for the pan and wobbled. Shower temperature difficult to control with two taps.

We had dinner t the all you can eat bistro. We found the food plentiful, tasty and well presented. The staff were happy, helpful and well presented. We had a good time.

I went to the band event on Friday, didn’t realise that it would cost $10 each as there was no proper payment area we walked in and was rudely approached by a female to get our entrance fee. We don’t carry cash so asked where the atm is — no atm available, also asked if the was a stamp for in /out of the pub and was told she is good with faces so it will be all good — not very professional but ok. Had to walk around to the other side of the venue to collect money, when we came back all we could hear is this particular staff member making snide comments to other patrons about the fact that the event was advertised on Facebook (I was coming to support a friend playing sorry I don’t follow your Facebook posts avidly) and it is $10 but apparently anyone can just walk in here etc.
In short need to be a bit more professional and polite to paying patrons — I will not come here to see any more bands if I am to be treated like that.

Frankly, the pub's external appearance is pretty darn uninviting. However, drive around the back and is another world. Likewise, walking into what I figured would just be another pub Bistro and you're met with a neat almost quirky design complemented by a surprisingly good buffet meal Making matters even better is how senior's get to enjoy the great spread for just $15. The range and quality of food was first rate. So good I'm teetering on giving it 5 stars.

I enjoyed it. Does the job in providing a bed to crash into at night. Would stay again if I need a stop over point.

OK for what it is. Clean and friendly room food tasty but limited variety. Dessert menu needs improvement. Good play area for children keeps noise level of children down. Drink prices reasonable from far friendly bar staff.

We had a lovely night at the hotel. The room was clean and inviting. Staff wonderful. Made you feel at home. We had a very comfortable bed and being a warm night we had a relaxing spa. Definitely be going again. Highly recommend.

Updated meal area, all you can eat style. None of the disco style bar area that used to be there. Great for families, but still prone to parents leaving the kids behind to go to the gaming area.

Great value buffet dinner. A good variety of styles; salads, roasts, stir fries and curries. Also hot and cold desserts. We happened to visit on the once a month special night for members. Normally $26/head but tonight 2 for 1. Very happy.

Went to Feast which is attatched to the Ferntree Hotel. It is $22 for all you can eat. Not bad.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was clean, tidy & comfortable. The bed was great. I slept very well. For no frills budget accomodation it was exceptional & very well priced. My room had everything I needed for my stay. I recommend Ferntree Gully Hotel to anyone needing affordable, comfortable accommodation.

I had dinner in the Feast restaurant which is upstairs. It is an all you can eat smorgasbord. It has delicious food with quite a wide variety. I highly recommend it for anyone even those with food allergies.

If I had a dying dog I would not let him stay in this accommodation. I got a refund after 1 night. What a hole. The doonas, bed, carpet, toilet seats are over 100 years old. My room was missing a door handle, and lets just say my bum didn't touch seat when I did my business, it was worse than a public toilet. I would not even give this place any stars. It needs a match to be thrown in it, and they should let the place burn down. 0/10

Sorry to say that this was NOT an experience that l/we would ever repeat. Room had left over, dried food between fridge and wall space and what appeared to be killed mosquitos with smeared blood stains on the walls near beds and bathroom. There was no phone in room or face washers to use. Bad need of a good wash with sugar soap and a good lick of paint. The receptionist was NOT the friendliest or helpful. Know it was a cheaper option but have stayed in Budget Motels before and may not have a lot in the rooms but they have at least been clean and staff friendly. If you think this motel is going to look like how it does on the web page be prepared for a bit of a shock, totally Photo Shopped.

My family ate at the Feast buffet restaurant. We were very satisfied with the food and the service was very good too. We'll definitely go back.

Feast is an all you can eat restaurant with an array of food. Always have good service and lots of tasty dishes to choose from.

Nice, cozy venue. Great for a party and a night out. Spacious rooms that in no way feel cramped, even with high numbers of people.

We had our engagement in July 2017 in Garfields (the large function room next to the Motel) Such a fantastic night! Tara the functions manager was amazing, packages were fantasticly priced — DJ, food, bar tab, and Baloons all included. The room looks fab with the new paint job and allowed us to decorate as we pleased! Had so many great comments and our friends and family are still talking about how great it was! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for function, or even for a wedding!

Loved the venue and the friendly staff as well. Great bands as well upstairs. Food was good. But get the bar meals as there excellent. There's also a all you can eat but the all you can eat is a bit dear. The bar meals were cheaper. I had a great time and enjoyed it as well. Would recommend it to anyone. A wide variety of excellent quality buffet food at a reasonable price. Often have 2 for 1 and family group specials as well. Our group put a fair dent in the dessert bar during our visit too.

Good clean rooms, comfortable bed. Was surprised by the lack of a toaster in the room though.

We went there for the Feast buffet and loved it. The food was fresh and delicious. A good selection of savoury and sweet foods. Great to take your kids because they don't have to wait for the food and there's a playroom too.

Went to tge buffet Food was well priced and nice. Motel staff were lovely and the motel was very nice for the reasonable price. However the bar staff in were very rude and more worried about the gambling room rather then surving people at the bar. Also the sports bar was pathetic on all 3 TVs they were showing home and away presumably because thats what the staff wanted to watch and when I asked them if they could turn one of the TVs to the monday night rugby they told me they would but never did. There was also no fox chanels which was strange for a sports bar to not be showing any sport.

We had dinner at Feast. Good was good and drinks well priced. Would go back again if in area.

Would have to be the worst rooms I've stayed in! Rooms were old and dingy, regarding the bed you're better off on the floor. TV had a red line through the picture, bed side lights didn't work because it's BYO globes. I complained to management and he said we can give you one free stay in the hell hole. Never stay there!

Music way to loud. Can not hear yourself think let alone talk to the person next to you. Was very disappointed.
