Very nice place and very welcoming.

Standard room nothing special other then a good heater to keep you warm. The TV could do with a update as well as the bathroom. But the staff are very nice and happy to help with all your needs. Its close to all the shops and restaurants less then 3 minutes.

Great service, ideal location, comfortable stay at the Motel. Ben and Judy the owners were so accommodating of my stay in Maryborough. If you're considering staying the highlander, you will not be disappointed with their quality, friendly and caring service they provide. A++

The room was very clean the owner had a good knowledge about the area and places to visit great for families or couples to stay the price is very reasonable and breakfast is included.

Small… think matchbox small for the bathroom, not the room. Let's start like everyone else on the reviews for this accommodation and use the word 'small' to describe this place. Nobody seems to describe how small we're truly talking about. You would be lucky to find the bathroom spacious if you were a hobbit! The shower cubicle itself is bigger then the space in the bathroom area. This proves difficult when it comes to drying oneself as this is best done by jiggling about because there is no space to wrap a towel around you. Keep in mind also that the limbo must be performed to get into and out of the shower by anyone of normal size… otherwise your head will be collected by the shower frame. The basin is only just bigger then a tea cup and you have to have the bathroom door open to brush your teeth so that when you bend over, your back end can poke out into the room. On the subject of the bathroom door, this sliding contraption offers no sound barrier at all and everything which happens in the bathroom can be heard loud and clear by those in the room. The lighting is poor at a stretch in the bathroom for any residing makeup artists. The room does not include an ironing board or iron so if this daily task, should you wish to perfom it, has to be done at reception. If you're not game enough to run across the carpark in your underwear to iron there, then wearing yesterdays shirt and pants is your only option for business travellers. In other news the Wi-Fi works very well.

We love the country feel to this place and the generosity of the owner. We have enjoyed staying here at Christmas 2 year’s in a row. Would recommend this to all who love the country.

Nothing special but good value for you money and it's clean. Rooms are a good size too. I thought it was good.

Great no fuss, clean well maintained motel. Ben who owns and runs the place is friendly, approachable and extremely helpful. Old school hospitality! Top place to stay.

Great place, highly recommend it nice clean warm rooms with comfy beds run by two lovely people they even include breakfast.

Brilliant hotel, I didn't arrive until 5pm on 13th June, which wasn't a problem, Judy was so friendly and welcoming. Room was fabulous and had everything, added bonus was breakfast being included. Also so close to where my grandson lived. Hope to return from UK in 3yrs to stay again. Thank you Judy and Ben x.

Great nights sleep. Nice clean and tidy. Very welcoming hosts. Brilliant tree in the garden out the front. Absolutely recommend. And that's saying something for me. Thank you.

Small, BUT, very clean, very comfortable and very quiet. Suggestion. Do call Judy & Ben if you have any "things" that need to be treated differently. I rang to book and just mentioned about my gluten intolerance. I arrived to find they had gone that little bit extra and had gluten free bread (for toast) and zymil milk in my room. All I can say is. If I have to return to Maryborough soon, I know where I'll be staying. Thanks Judy and Ben.

To the owners… wow I can't believe the motel is still there and striving. This is my former home, so many memories. My parents bought the motel when I was 7 years old. Through many changes and rebuilds my bedroom was transfered into a store room which resulted in number 6 unit becoming my bed room. There are so many stories about my growing up in a motel, but it always was a home for many Rep's while away working. Many friendships were formed among the Rep' and my dad. I wish you all the luck in the future, am in Sydney now but do get back sometimes. Cheers Peter Bradley.
