We have made great friends with the gents who run the milk bar, their always happy to help with any needs, always great for a giggle but most importantly their wonderful store owners & friends as well, we don’t go elsewhere for the small things we need when we’re in town.

Wonderful managers who have thought & provided everything you need when you are away from home. Nothing is too much trouble for them to provide — even a cosy room with free breakfast available. Room facilities are totally spacious & adequate, comfy & warm. Great hospitality. Thank you both. We'll visit many more times. This has been our Motel of choice for years.

Efficient registration from friendly owners Clean and spacious room. Self serve Continental breakfast in the "Wreck Shed". Avoca is an historical gold era township with buildings dating back to the 1860's. Recent addition is the Chinese garden.

What a great little stop in Avoca at Avoca motel, exactly as pictured. Clean, tidy & very comfortable room. Checked in late on a Sunday nothing was to much hassle from Candice. Gorgeous complimentary breakfast set up beautifully! Thankyou, we will be back on our travels.

I had the most wonderful stay at Avoca Motel. The service from the owners was outstanding. They're so friendly and inviting you feel like you've known them for years. Service with a smile. The check in process was smooth and you can see how proud these two are of their business and they show real pleasure in welcoming you to their property and also to their town. Avoca is a beautiful little town and this hotel is perfectly positioned. The rooms are wonderful as is the surrounding area. There's a great communal space if you want to stick around the motel. Otherwise, everything is just a short walk away. Ask Andy and Candice for their advice and they'll recommend where to go and what to do. I'm looking forward to my next stay, I think I'll upgrade and go for a spa room next time and spend sometime in the Pyrenees wine region too. Perfect weekend getaway.

Avoca Motel is a very comfortable, homely place to stay in Avoca. We stay regularly when visiting family close by and the owners are very welcoming and lovely people. They always turn on the heating/cooling before we arrive, which is very much appreciated. We always stay in a family room which are big enough for a family of four. The motel is located very close to the Avoca Hotel which is a great spot for a meal.

Clean, tidy, comfortable, quiet. Cooked breakfasts are great Must meet Digger (the dog) the gentile giant Hosts are excellent.

Absolutely first class. Rooms were beautifully appointed and recently renovated to an exceptional standard. The hosts Suzanne and John could not do enough to help our group over a weekend stay with great breakfasts and even cheese and biscuits when we arrived back to have drinks before dinner. Thoroughly recommended.
