Quest Bendigo

Room 26 was comfortable but the black mould in the shower tiles definitely needed attention.
I subsequently stayed in Room 37, which was also ok, however had a weird layout with a "closet room" without any power point, even though the iron and ironing board was in there.
Also not a fan of having a shower in the bath (in Room 37), from a ease of mobility point of view.
Reception staff very helpful and professional.
Location was excellent for my work trip.

Stayed here for a business trip and would definitely return. Apartment covers all bases with the dining table, desk for working, spacious kitchen and had everything I could have wanted.
I appreciated the aircon in the room was running on my arrival as it was a hot day and it was lovely to enter a cool space.
Everything was clean and kudos to the lovely lady who was at check in, couldn’t have received a warmer welcome.

We recently stayed at Quest Bendigo after travelling from Ballarat for early morning work commitments.
The rooms were neat, clean, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly in accommodating our request to modify the booking dates. We appreciated being able to adjust the dates by paying the difference rather than losing the full amount.
However, there were some significant drawbacks during our stay. The Wi-Fi speed was very slow (approximately 3 Mbps), which made it difficult to use for work purposes. When we raised this concern with reception, we were informed that the modem had been rebooted and that no further action could be taken.
Additionally, there were recurring knocking or other noises throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, we were unable to rest properly until around 2:00 AM. Given that we had an early start the next morning, this was quite disappointing.
While we appreciated the cleanliness and the courteous staff, the poor Wi-Fi and disturbed sleep made the stay feel below expectations and not entirely value for money.

Stayed here for a concert. Check in process was easy with friendly staff. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and had everything you need. The only downside is there’s only aircon in the living area and none in the bedrooms so it was incredibly hot and stuffy.

The stay was pretty good. The unit was clean well appointed and a few quirks but that was fine. The pool was a little smaller than we thought and freezing freezing. I find it so weird that places don’t solar heat their pool when they’re freezing on the bottom but anyway all good, we just sat in the edge to cool off.
We weren’t notified that there was no TV because of the fires so that would’ve been just nice to have known because we spent a good amount of time trying to get the TV working just to be told the next day by a friend that there was none in the whole area. So that was a little bit of frustration that could’ve been fixed easily if we had been notified on checkin.
The other thing was that in the two bedroom apartment there’s only one Aircon for the whole place and being that it can be quite warm in Bendigo a ceiling fan or something would be really helpful but overall really happy, service was great and we would visit again.

My family travelled for a week full of cricket competition for my son. When I was looking for accommodation it was very important to me to have a kitchen to prepare food and meals. I was also looking for somewhere to be comfortable to wind down and watch tv, we wanted a seperate lounge and didn’t want to sit in our beds like we had in other motels. My son’s Grandmother also travelled with us, the two room apartment was exactly what we needed, the two bathrooms was great for when we were all getting ready in the morning. What surprised me the most and was so beneficial was the washing machine to clean his cricket clothing after every game. We really enjoyed our stay and will be booking here again if the next years competition is in Bendigo.

If youre looking for a place to stay that is nice and affordable, The Quest is the place to be. The rooms are nice and clean, and has everything you need. Spacious and nicely put together apartments.
The ladies at the front reception, Jess and Tracey, were also a delight to deal with. They quickly and swiftly handle anything to do with your stay. If I could give The Quest 10 stars I would.

We have just had a 10 day stay at the Quest Bendigo High Street Room 18…
Over all the apartment was very good and suited our needs!
We would especially like to acknowledge the cleaning staff, who worked extreamely hard in very hot condtions, your efforts we're not unnoticed and very appreciated!
There were a few minor maintenance issues.
The bed dipped in the middle, but once staff were notified it was fixed…
The shower was loose, which resulted in water going everywhere, but a very minor issue!
Over all our stay at the Quest was pleasant and a great experience!
Yes we would defintenly stay again!
It's not easy pleasing everyone, and in a big motel like the Quest, your not going to alway's please everyone! Some people's expectations are way to high!

Nice big comfortable room. Check the bath towels and beds for spiders as we got a nice surprise when getting into bed. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t be coming back.

I booked accommodation at Quest Hotel Bendigo through Booking. Com. Unfortunately, I needed to cancel due to my child becoming unwell, and I informed the hotel that I could provide a GP’s report if required.
When I first contacted the hotel, the receptionist (Tracy) told me that Booking. Com could handle the cancellation as it was out of free cancellation period.
After speaking with Booking. Com, they advised me that the hotel needed to confirm they were happy to cancel the booking free of charge.
When I called the hotel again to explain this, the receptionist was extremely rude and told me not to “tell her how to do her job. ” When I asked her to speak to me respectfully, she said she was hanging up. I then requested to speak to a supervisor, and she responded that she was the supervisor and that there was no one above her, if that's the case then Quest Bendigo should seriously think about it.
I found this behaviour very unprofessional and disappointing, especially as I have worked in hotels myself and have seen similar situations handled with empathy and flexibility. Despite my explanation, the booking was not cancelled and I was charged in full.
I hope management reviews this experience and addresses the way this situation was handled.

Efficient and comfortable stay. Room standard was good, though a coffee plunger would have been nice to have. The staff were readily available and friendly. Overall a very nice stay.

Easy check in, we arrived late and the instructions to collect our key were trouble free. Room was set to the correct temperature and the lights on for our arrival. Friendly staff onsite the next day when we checked out. Tracie was excellent to deal with and her knowledge of the area was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well stocked. It was unseasonably cold during our stay but the staff had turned the heating on and some lamps to give us a warm welcome. Overall the apartment (#31) could do with some modernisation, but that did not affect our stay. We asked for a walk in shower, and a room towards the back of the complex to reduce the noise from passing traffic. Even though we only booked a one bedroom, we were given a two bedroom so could spread out a little, plus we had a parking space available to us. There was a desk in the main lounge area, and the the TV had a free movie streaming service. I really think the floors were heated as well — bonus! The Wi Fi was terrible as it would not stay connected for more than a minute or two before dropping out. We ended up just "Hot Spotting" to our mobile phones to get some continuous service. The only other small negative was that we like to sleep late, and as the rooms were serviced earlier in the day in most cases, it was too early for us, so we ended up putting up the "Do not Disturb" sign. It wasn't a big issue either though as we were quite happy to keep the same bedding and towels.

So comfy and warm. Great stay. Recommended the stay. Staff are so friendly. Very cleas as well.

We stayed at quest bendigo on our way through to Ballarat for business, the room was clean wasn't superb but it was clean, easy access, easy parking.
Can't say about the staff as we only spoke to the lady on the phone can't say she was overly friendly. Bathroom door handle came off so we had to leave a note for then to fix it. Would of been nice for a small mini bar but it was only 1 night so it was all good.

Great one bedroom apartment, very spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Location is great, just a short drive into the CBD.
Staff were lovely at reception.

Stayed here with family. Was happy with the appartment stayed in a two bedroom executive. Was spacious, nice smart TV, has a kitchen with things to allow you too cook a meal. Easy check in, good location, a three min drive too Woolworths and easy drive into town. Bed was a comfy king bed Unfortunately we didn’t have a good sleep as it was loud banging both nights all night in our room. I also tipped some water because I was tired on the couch and was charged a $50 extra cleaning fee without them communicating this to me. This was disappointing as the room wasn’t entirely clean on arrival mould in between shower screen, dirt in oven, skirting boards etc. I understand charging a fee but think there should be better communication as it ruins your stay experience. Would recommend this place still for the price it’s still a good hotel.
