Quest Bendigo Central

Highly recommended Quest Central, we will be staying here for all our future travels to Bendigo.
Management and Staff were extremely accommodating and very friendly. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable for our family of 5.
Perfect location right in town, walking distance to the shops.
Big thanks to the team at Quest Central!

Great stay! Reception staff were excellent—called ahead before arrival and stayed late to accommodate our late check-in. Super friendly and helpful throughout.
The room and bathroom were spotless, the sofa bed was already set up, and the beds were very comfortable.
Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Quest Apartments. The room was spotless, modern, and very spacious, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience easy and stress-free. From reception to housekeeping, the service was outstanding. The location was also very convenient, close to everything we needed. Overall, great value for money and a true home away from home. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Quest Apartments Bendigo. The room was beautifully clean, spacious, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay.
The service was exceptional from start to finish. Reception staff were warm and welcoming, and housekeeping did an outstanding job maintaining everything to such a high standard. A lovely surprise was the welcome gift we received on arrival, which really made us feel valued as guests.
Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Not up to scratch for a 4-star hotel. I don't know about the other rooms, but the room I stayed in was disgusting and in dire need of a renovation.
Upon entering my room, I was greeted with a disgusting, musty smell. The staff were obviously aware of the smell, as they had left the window ajar to try and air the room out, but to no avail.
The shower was mouldy and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable and offered no back support. Don't stay here if you have scoliosis or any sort of back problems.
Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed, as I thought Quest was meant to be a reputable hotel chain. This will unfortunately be my first and last time staying at a Quest hotel.

Have stayed before — the property is very good. Make sure you you aware it two levels without a lift.
Stairs are required to access the first floor. Quiet at night so good sleep in on the cards.

Photos much newer looking than the actual place is. Secured carpark with locked gates a bonus to help me feel safe (solo business traveler). Staff could do with a lesson or two in customer service. Bed reasonably comfortable. No outside view due to obscure windows and foliage.
While it could have been worse, it wasn;t great. I would not stay here again.

Apartment was clean & location close to main centre of Bendigo which made access to restaurants an easy walk. This was required as no breakfast was served by the site.
Car Parking on-site was handy. Good Wifi.
Noise carried very easily between rooms but luckily most people were quiet after 10pm.

Comfortable rooms, well appointment and spotlessly clean. Good location; 15 minute walk to the CBD.
Agree with other comments regarding parking. It is limited and the spots are 'economical' with the space.

We had previously stayed at Quest Bendigo Central in May 2022.  At that time we thought the apartment wasn't as clean as it could have been, and it was showing it age with ageing furnishings, mattresses and carpet, ect.  At that time were told that the facility would be refurbished soon to update it.  With our recent stay of 3 night in late October 2025 it seems that the facility is still waiting for it to happen.
On entering the 2 bedroom apartment there were old tree leaves on the carpet, and they stayed for the duration of our stay.  We had asked for the rooms to each have king bed configuration — one room was not with singles in place,  the single mattresses were very soft, lumpy and appeared to need replacement.  One wasn't fitted with a protector or topper.  We asked for a topper to be put on but housekeeping failed to do so.  In the end a reception staff member fitted it as the housekeeping staff had gone home — she was apologetic and as helpful has she could be.
The bedside tables have a full cross-cut angled groove as handles — they were filled with dust and obviously hadn't been cleaned in ages.
The stacked front loading washer & dryer in the main bathroom, were showing their age but worked well.  However, the detergent packets were placed on top of the unit, when getting at them your hands get covered in dust bunnies.  Seriously the top of the unit would only need to occasional vacuum or dusting to keep it clean.

Travelled to Bendigo for a work trip and stayed the night prior and was relatively happy with the stay. Check in & out was a quick process with super friendly staff who explained everything perfectly. The room itself was the standard accommodation needs with standard kitchenette and decent bathroom. Only significant down point which prevented 5 stars was on the window viewing outside, was a large bird poo which was not pleasant to look out on.

We enjoyed our stay at Quest Bendigo Central. Easy walk to everything we were hoping to see and do. Perhaps a couple of sunlounges might be good to sit by the pool. Very quiet location.

As we spent our days out at the various local birding spots, the Quest was a very comfortable base. We weren't looking to eat out, so we cooked in the well appointed kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and our stay was made effortless by friendly, helpful statt. We'll be back.

No Lift access to upper floors, so lugging that suitcase up the stairs.
Parking available but very tight.
Rooms ok, but could be renovated.
Staff were great.

Well appointed rooms, good location. Big city prices, a bit on the expensive side. The second bathroom was difficult to use, the basin protruded into the space needed to stand in when opening the door, and it was difficult to manoeuvre past the basin to get to the toilet.

The space was sensational. We travelled with our Mum so the two bedrooms with two. Bathrooms were essential. The space had everything we needed. It wasn’t near the centre of the city, however it was an easy drive and probably a 25 minute walk. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, stove — could cast to TV. Everything is here. Staff member is wonderful. Need a rubber mat in the shower/bath.

We stayed here for 3 nights recently. The bed was large and comfy, the shower strong and hot, but got water all over the bathroom floor, soaking the bath mat and making the floor very slippery. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly either because of the water damage.
The undercover carpark was extremely cramped, even people with a small hatch back had to take several goes to get in, our car is a large ute over 5m long, so took forever to get in.
As the motel is 20 mins walk from all the good restaurants, and it was freezing, we left our car where it was & grabbed a taxi. On a Friday and Saturday night you'll likely lose your carpark if you go out too!
The motel reception was very friendly and helpful.
