A very nice welcome. Good size rooms. Very clean. Also liked the added touch of scissors to cut the coffee sachets in the dining room. Usually so difficult to undo. Easy. Will be back. It was our second visit.

Stayed here twice now, both times it was Easter Saturday and was able to book for one night only. Excellent service, wonderful complimentary breakfast. Clean rooms, great location, friendly and helpful staff!

WE had a spa and the amount of dirt in the tub was gross. Apparently they are not cleaned properly when they clean the rooms how ever the lady in office gave Mary a 5% discount for the inconvenience but on a good note the room was very nice.

Stayed for a night for work. Pleasant and polite at reception. Room was spacious and clean. Split system chucked out some good heat (thank God as it was July)! Very centrally located in town. Only minor criticism is the cooked breakfast I had was a bit average, but accomodation wise good.

Very neat quiet and clean close to shops very close to KFC good breakfast very friendly people parking a little difficult in some parts if you have a large vechile but manageable.

Came with Christian's Bus Company group but treated like honoured guests. A big thank you.

Stayed here for one night. I echo others sentiments that the rooms are dated however very clean and tidy. Customer service was somewhat abrupt and seemed to be flustered when asked a simple question. However excellent location on main street (particularly if you are catching coach or train close to station, ) plenty of parking and basic breakfast and Wi-Fi included in price. Overall a standard motel experience and really stayed for the convenience.

Great service at reception. Rooms are clean and have been freshened up from the typical 1970s motels. Clean rooms. Good bed and pillows. Good parking for cars. Trucks can park on the side of the highway our front. Cosy breakfast place.

Verry clean and friendly place. Only fault is found the shower changes from where you have it to scalding hot if someone else nearby uses the water.

The place is just great the rooms are well presented and clean the staff where very nice and even opened up for us to get a room, I will stay there again for sure.

Dated circa 1970s but very clean and comfortable. The managers are very friendly and ensured we had heating on as we arrived on a cold Victoria night.

Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant food was great with generous servings and good table service.

The managers here are lovely, easy to deal with and happy to help. The deluxe rooms are fairly well renovated and furbished. The food is reasonable (the Parma is good) the rib eye steak is quite small.

We are here now, its great! Cant fault anything!

We stayed on our way to Lakes Enterance. Friendly staff. Would recommend it.

I have met the staff Comfort Inn — — checked out all the rooms and interviewed many of the guests and the overwhelming evidence is that this motel would be rated by Corporate travellers as one the best motels that they stay at anywhere — plus many have been coming for years and the owner tells me that they have close to 100% retention of returning corporate clients — — but hey, check it for yourself — — I can only tell you what all of the people I have interviewed say about the place — — and the owners have spent large sums of money refurbishing the motel recently and for the price — — you find it will be the best value for money in Bairnsdale.

This motel used to be pretty run down by the previous owner of Best Western years ago. But ever since it changed ownership to Comfort Inn, it has improved tremendously. Even the old standard rooms has seen some form of renovation improvement. Well done to the new owners. Only suggestion I have is for them is the restaurant, it still looks kind of old.

The review on Google is definitely out dated. I have stayed several times at the property and cannot fault the overall amenity and professionalism of the management.

Not very pleasant during breakfast, managers kids screaming, receptionist arguing on phone. Will take my family elsewhere.
