We love the high tea at Flowerdale Estate! It’s so delicious and very filling! Plus you can go for a walk on the estate grounds to see the animals and the creek is a must-see! 💜

First time visiting and will definately be back. Friendly staff, beautiful surrounds and delicious food.

The staff here are amazing, Mel in Reception greets you like family Go into the restaurant and another Mel has you seated and laughing in minutes. The food was fantastic. Rooms are clean, comfortable with a great bed. Dining in the restaurant for Dinner 🍽 was exceptional, Mel, Stef, Jacob and the rest of the staff are a credit to the business. Nothing is a bother Will definitely be going back and would recommend this place to anyone.

Highly recommend Flowerdale Estate, husband and I went there for a Devonshire tea experience, but decided to have lunch before our dessert. Food is absolutely glorious, if I could have tried more I would have. Staff are amazing and so friendly. Will definitely be going back.

My daughter had the best wedding ever at flowerdale the staff and Maria were fabulous everything ran so smoothly would certainly recommend this venue for weddings and weekends away. We have also eaten lunch there on several occasions the food is amazing 👏👏

My husband and I just had our wedding there last Thursday and I couldn’t recommend this place any more. They went above and beyond for us and our guests. Everyone commented on the staff and how amazing and accomodating they were. Our day was absolutely perfect and the hospitality was spot on. Thank you Flowerdale, we are forever grateful. I just had lunch here today and it was terrific… the salad was so fresh and the dressing was just perfect. The pakoras were so delicious and tasty and fresh. The relish complemented the flavors beautifully, you could just tell that everything had been made on site and thought had been given to everything on the plate. Everyone here is so friendly as well. What a gem.

Getting married here was a fantastic experience. Everything was amazing and I can't recommend this place enough. The staff were lovely and made our special day just that extra bit wonderful. Special mentions to Maria, Denise and Ester for giving us excellent service.

Incredibly disappointing experience due to one waitress. Attending an absolutely beautiful wedding I was served food that wasn’t cohesive with my dietary limitations. No issue it happens quite often as it’s not one of the more known allergens. I asked if I could have a side plate to just share some of the accompanying sides instead, unfortunately said waitress left and never returned. I enquired again with another lovely member who of staff and the aforementioned waitress cane back and claimed I said I didn’t want anything. I again asked if I could please just have a side plate thank you and was rudely told “don’t say the word thank you if you don’t understand it or mean it”. Following this she also told me I said I didn’t want anything and not to ask for things I don’t want. Again after this I was served a bowl of risotto which again wasn’t dietary friendly and I hadn’t asked for, followed by a bowl of steamed rice again that I hadn’t asked for. This drew very unwanted attention on an occasion that was for the couple not targeting a guest. By the time I had grabbed another waitresses attention for a side plate there were 3 waiters of roasted potatoes left for my dinner and everyone else’s plates had been cleared drawing unwanted attention to the fact the wast able to eat. Incredibly rude and I myself have 14 years experience in hospitality including event management and as a wedding co ordinaries.

Went for a meal at lunch time for my birthday recently and to see what the grounds were like for a wedding in the future. Staff didn’t have much knowledge of the menu (was different online) and couldn’t tell us what was on the cheese board. Very disappointed.

Enjoyed the high tea — real leaf tea, nice scones and tasty selection on the triple tier.

Beautiful Mother’s Day High Tea! Service was warm and friendly and we had endless cups of tea/coffee and beautiful savory and sweet treats not to mention the delicious scones! All of that with beautiful surrounds to walk through. Thank you!

My husband and I got married at Flowerdale Estate on the weekend. Everyone single person who works there was awesome. Nothing was too hard, they answered every question we had right from the start before we had booked in, to on the day. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough to have a wedding, function or just go there for lunch! You will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Flowerdale Estate.

This is a magical place, historic bucolic bliss, great for enjoying a bit of comfort away from it all. Beautiful buildings and surroundings, friendly staff, good food and well chosen wine list and generous sized rooms. There are many activities available, and it's the perfect place to find a quiet corner and read a book, and I might try walking along of the ~2km of river bank next time.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Flowerdale Estate and we couldn't have been happier with the beautiful atmosphere, stunning views and proffessional but incredibly friendly staff. Our day ran so smoothly with their help, and they were only too happy to help in any way. The food was absolutely to die for, most of our guests went out of their way to tell us this! We also received so much feedback from our guests about how beautifully the venue was run. I would certainly recommend Flowerdale Estate for any occasion, from a wedding to a high tea lunch. Simply stunning!

My wife's best friend just got married here and this place was the best possible place for a wedding. It had everything! It was away from the suburbs so there was no noise curfew which meant we could party until very late. The rooms were very nice too. The homestead and surrounding grounds were very picturesque and would give any wedding the most beautiful photos. The reception hall was very large and perfect for the occasion. It was a warm evening and it had a nice gentle breeze blowing through. There was also many other facilities such as the bar and the swimming pool and tennis courts and bbq area that were all great. We all had so much fun and were so happy to be a part of the wedding at this venue. One thing I was very impressed with was the amount of solar power and heat pumps on the premises which means the venue is a smart choice for those who are environmentally conscious. The management and owners were also very approachable and the staff were friendly and helpful. One thing that my wife and I could nitpick about was that we ran out of hot water before my wife could have a shower in the garden suite in the homestead. Even still I'm giving it 5 out of 5 stars. We loved it!

Stayed for 2 nights and it was "OK", but not what we expected for the price. Stains on the carpet (mostly covered by the bed), stains on the wall (mostly covered by a painting), a single vegetarian mains for dinner option and cream with gelatin in the breakfast scrambled eggs despite there being a number of vegetarians staying (to be fair on request they made another batch without cream, but they didn't offer we had to ask), no tea strainer or pot to make use of the loose leaf teas in the buffet, and playing modern rock music over the 'romantic dinner setting' in a historic building was pretty weird. All in all it was fine, but there was just a general lack of attention to detail, things being done or not done without giving each decision full consideration.

Great views and location. Venue is gorgeous. Staff are not very friendly and food is average and small portions.

Maria and all of the staff were so wonderful, making our stay memorable for all the right reasons. The hotel and grounds are delightful.

Went to Flowerdale estate to attend a friend's wedding and found the facilities exceptional. I did not stay overnight, but the meals and service were great.

Okay I will be very honest. ' The negatives: building was very dated. Main reception smelled damp like an old backpacker. Rooms were average. Room carpets are stained and very old and I could see little bugs crawl from outside into the tiny holes under the door. Waitresses at the restaurants provided average services. No phone reception. The positives: dinner was exceptional. Very delicious and well presented — masterchef quality. Some lady near the reception was very friendly. Prices are amazing.

Set in a beautiful location for the wedding we were attending, drinks on the patio at sunset, lovely, but unfortunately the food was terrible. Few guests sick from the scallops, food served was cold and unappetising. Not enough staff and it is unheard of anywhere, to deliver one meal to a table of 8, then the balance 15 mins later. Such a shame. : (

The setting is absolutely stunning with spectacular views of the hills. The rooms are comfortable and the service was great. Though I think the real star of the show was the food.

Attended the Sunday High Tea — whe had the Royale, and it was absolutely lovely!

Sunday high tea. Service is lovely… let down was the high tea items… cheap and cold when they should be warm and bread not fresh.

Me and my partner purchased a night away at the Flowerdale Estate via RedBallon and we had the best time! The grounds and accomodation was immaculate! The staff were extremely accomodating and nothing was too much! Highly recommend! Can't wait to return!

Come here regularly to facilitate training. Comfortable rooms, quaint venue and wonderful staff.
