It was a beautiful place with lots of space for such a small apartment and a great garden to sit in and relax. It was hot in Echuca, but the air conditioning in the unit made things much more pleasant. Everything was really great to be honest.

Great little wagon for a different type of experience! Pet friendly!
All the extra bits you would expect in a motel!
Air conditioned.
Walking distance to pub.

Thankyou Kym (owner of Echuca Gardens) for our 3 night stay in your two bedroom apartment. It was clean, comfortable and a bit quirky. We are still amazed with the varied accommodations you have on site and we Really Enjoyed looking at your garden/s… you certainly are a Very Talented Man.
One thing we noticed was occasionally hearing the people through the adjoining door preparing to cook or chatting but that's to be expected with the house design.
Wish we could've stayed longer.

Great accommodation, however hot water in kitchen sink non-existent as was water pressure, washed dishes in bathroom. Also could hear everything happening upstairs.
Nice garden.

I had a great time at Echuca Garden Hotel with my wife and dog. We stayed in a small, beautiful apartment with all wooden interiors. Everything was cozy and clean, and the person who helped us at night was very kind. Their friendliness made our stay even better. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Echuca. A fantastic experience!

Rooms were pretty basic. Heating was on and off every 15minutes per bed room.
Loved the woodcutter cabin except for the parts that were not genuine and not attached to the property correctly — fireplace mantle price for example and the most dangerous feature for taller people. The modern glass range hood over the island bench stove. Very sore heads and not because of partying last weekend.

Had a great stay in the 2 bedroom apartment.
Hosts Steven and Tracey were lovely and Jetta was friendly and not OTT with our smaller timid dog too :)
(Fluffy dog owners may appreciate the pebbled areas inside the gardens, or the public path out the back for toilet breaks. We found a lot of prickles in surrounding street nature strips).
Had everything we needed, from cooking dinners to doing laundry.
Kids have their own mobile data, so no complaints from them. (Wifi provided at a lot of places isn't great anyhow).
Being predominantly campers, we appreciated the fridge and excellent air conditioning in the 36/38c long weekend! BOTH bedrooms AND kitchen/dining all had aircon and was a great relief after exploring.
Steven was a great host and showed us the garden and murals, as well as the collection of artifacts which was amazing.
Looking forward to coming back to hear some of Kym's stories and piano, as sadly Steven doesn't play, lol.
Thanks again for a great relaxing family time away, quirky setup and relaxing gardens.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Echuca Gardens in one of the wagons. Kym and his dog are very friendly and accommodating. The wagon was perfect, with a very comfy bed, ensuite, kitchenette, and tv. The location is also ideal: We walked to dinner both evenings and left the car behind on Saturday to wander around the historic port, via the forest behind the property. Highly recommend!

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Kym is a very welcoming and interesting individual who was approachable and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the museum that took us to 135 countries in half an hour. Highly recommend also pet friendly.

My family and I had a lovely stay here in the cottage. The interior design was vintage-y and quirky, nothing like I've ever stayed in before, so it was a fun experience! The rooms were spacious and comfortable — great for hanging out with the family. Kym the host was friendly and accommodative. The location is great too — close to the main attractions in Echuca, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries…

We loved our stay at Echuca Gardens. Kym and Jetta were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
My partner and I stayed in the downstairs unit with our little dog and my Dad stayed in a gypsy cabin. We had everything we needed and were extremely glad of the excellent aircon as we arrived on a 40 degree day!
The location is very close to town and an easy walk to attractions, restaurants and cafes.
We also we’re lucky enough to be invited in to hear about Kym’s extensive travels and hear him play his piano. Really informative and entertaining. A great stay.
We would certainly recommend and will be back soon I’m sure.

We rented the cottage for Anzac weekend and honestly it was great. Fully equiped kitchen and laundry plus 2 bathrooms. Plus you don't only have a front gated area for the dogs, you have a gated little backyard as well so very impressed for our pooches.
Extremely affordable as I would describe this more of a house size than a cottage. 3 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs and we had plenty of room.
Great hiding places for the kids with hide and seek!
It's quirky, old fashioned and fun. I prefer spending my money ey to stay away somewhere different so this was a great experience!
If you prefer to stay away in modern facilities then the cottage isn't for you. But if you are a family looking for an affordable house to stay with your dogs then book this place. We loved it!
