Ross B&B Accommodation

Thank you for a wonderful weekend in Tassie! The motel is beautiful and the rooms were very comfy. You were so welcoming and helpful especially with a late arrival. Ross is a very nice town to visit and the motel was the perfect place to stay.

Fantastic clean and homely rooms were warm and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Ross is a wonderful little town with lots to see. My wife said it was her favourite place on our 12 day Tasmania trip.

Most amazingly clean rooms with everything you need. Manager was very helpful and the place is well run. Ross is a gem of a heritage town.

A small hotel yet cute and comfy. We decide to stay over night in this city before going to hobart, it is the right decision to stay here, lovely city even it is very small. The room is clean and fit 2 of us, we can open 2 luggage eventually can still have plenty of space to walk. The bed, pillows are all good, soft and comfy. The location is very good, it is next to the river and a couple blocks from city center.

Arrived to find a sms on our phone saying that our room was ready and the key in the door. A few other details were provided including where to get a meal that night as the local pub was having renovations and not open. This was very much appreciated.
Room was fitted with a lovely king sized bed and a very clean bathroom and little kitchenette. The microwave was a nice addition as was the crockery and cutlery. No continental breakfast or buffet is available but the little cafe/bakeries in town (very easy walking distance) proved to be a great option. We should point out that there was only one cafe/bakery open on the days we were there.
The motel is right on the river, had chickens and ducks wandering around (bonus for me! ) and the whole area was very well presented.
We would stay there again.

Ross is a gorgeous little town but we underestimated how close to Hobart it was so arrived early to be gruffly told we should come back. Understandable but a smile goes a long way in hospitality. Beds comfy, all clean, relaxed and private.

An absolute must if you visit Ross, Tasmania. The sweetest motel I have stayed at in a long, long while. Such a beautiful spot, very comfortable and a short walk to the main streets. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay.

Emily and her staff were very welcoming. Set in the heart of historic Ross, you can walk to the main town square. Rooms were very clean and well appointed with toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge. I highly recommend this beautiful property.

Great rooms. Very clean, ample space, parking at the door. A very short walk to the village. Thoughtful addition of a night light in the bathroom. Comfortable beds and linen. We did miss the usual inclusions of shampoo in the shower and a small long life milk. However, we walked to the shop to buy milk but ended up buying coffee and toasties, so it’s beneficial for the town in the long run!
Lovely stay.

We booked this wonderful hotel to base ourselves for some adventures in the state. We are local Tasmanians and so pleased we discovered this gem. Wonderfully presented, clean, quiet and serviced motel. Emily was so helpful, responsive and made our stay so easy for the four of us.

We stayed for one night…the room was well laid out. There was ample furniture and the bed was comfortable.
They provide some kitchen equipment, microwave and toaster.
The room was very clean and it was quiet. We used the shared laundry, $4 for a wash load and no charge for the dryer. The village is Ross is quaint.

Spent a night here close to Christmas 2025. Room was comfortable with a lot of space. There was a guest laundry although we didn’t use it. Although the pub was closed (Christmas or renovation) there was a food truck open for dinner around 6pm.
In the morning a bakery was open with pies and coffee etc….

An absolute delight to have spent a night here (wish it was longer).
The grounds are so well maintained with colourful arrays of seasonal flowers and greenery. There are also the most adorable resident bantam chickens (and chicks) that freely wander around the grounds, along with duckies too.
The room itself was a spacious 2-bedroom cottage (#7), each with a large very comfy bed, table & desk and TV. My room also had an additional smaller child-size single bed which would be perfect for a smaller individual.

Lovely setting. Very quiet. Very comfy and clean room. We arrived early and the owners were out but quickly sorted our room by text message. Located very close to the centre of Ross for access to cafe's and the tourist must see highlights (inc the Ross Bridge).

Beautiful place, very spacious room, perfectly clean and well kept, excellent location near the river and historical bridge, could easily walk to everything. Lady at Reception was very helpful. Highly recommend.

This lovely accommodation exceeded our expectations. Immaculately clean and spacious units in lovely garden setting — complete with chickens, ducks and ducklings. Highly recommend if looking for somewhere to break the journey between Launceston and Hobart. The beautiful village and the Ross Bakery was an added bonus.

Riverview at Ross was a wonderful stay, Emily was super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable with chairs out the front for an afternoon drink or cuppa. Bed are super comfortable and just what was needed after a drive.
Short walk around the corner to the bakery and pub with some great local shops and historical sites to check out. A great stop on a road trip.
