The staff! All of them go above and beyond catering for your needs. Nothing is too hard and they make it happen. The meals are delicious. You don’t have to book a table you can just turn up. A lot of hotels could learn a lot from the staff there. Thank you.

Our entire stay was faultless. Sublime surrounds, incredible food and beverage selection and beautiful experiences — but the people make it that ‘next level’. Truly a wonderful stay. Highly recommend for a couple retreat.

The most beautiful serene view from your room, it’s peaceful and truely helps you relax and unwind. The service is impeccable and the attention to detail is incomparable to any luxury lodge we’ve stayed at. The food is refined and the wine list extensive — love the fact it’s heavily Tassie dominated.

Staff don’t listen. Asked a question via fb, received no response after waiting 2 days called them. Was looking to book for several weeks for my honeymoon. But staff could sure listen when I swore. Continue to discriminate despite government changing the rules. Don’t stay here.

Dearest Saffire staff, We were discussing what to do on my 50th birthday as the borders were shut and I couldn't make it to my beloved Mexico. When Saffire was bought up I was sceptical. Boy was I wrong. What a magical experience! The staff were amazing, from Shea putting up with us all day, to Paul at the Oyster farm and Ollie taking us to a winery. All the Jo's in the restaurant and the sweet Daisy who made her first drink for me… it was awesome! The chefs who cooked the most amazing food and even a Dagwood Dog that was the best I have ever had! And then there was David… I have no words for what you organised for us. Simply spectacular and what a beautiful human you are. The only complaint is that we had to leave! So thank you from the bottom of my heart for the most enjoyable time I have ever had. Mexico is now my second favourite destination! We will back soon Love Jo & Rob Fairs xx.

This was our 3rd time at saffire, and safe to say it was absolutely amazing!
the food is beyond great, and the staff are extremely helpful and really friendly!

Everything was superb. The building is wonderful. Staff are excellent. Food and wine is simply the best. Rob, the beekeeper — Wild Hives, Swansea — was just fantastic. Save the bees, Saffire supports the bees sbd their habitat and then uses the honey in so many magic ways!

This was the most incredible experience. We loved every minute! It was so hard to leave. Thankyou to the amazing staff. We will be back!

This is exactly what you would expect from a first class top flight property, We were greeted with a welcoming friendly smile from Ryan the Guest relation Manager as if we were returning for the hundredth time, when in fact it was our first visit (will definitely not be our last) with a view from the upper lounge that was simply breathtaking, looking across Coles Bay to the Hazard mountains, what could be better! Then the friendly staff took us to our accomodation and there it was, a spectacular room with the same room.
I couldn’t recommend Saffire high enough, with the food, wine and service second to none and to have included so many excursions was a lovely bonus, Paul taking us on a tour of the Oyster farm, the Classic Rob and his bee’s and Renee’s Knowledge of the natural history and local wildlife, such entertaining professionals, Thanks guys
In the past I have been asked “If you could have dinner with anyone, past, present or future, who would it be? ” Well after meeting Dave, I’ve found the Man, a person I could chat with for hours!
This place is clearly a well run ship, with everyone knowing what they were doing and doing it well and this can only be because the Man leading the way, Patrick, the conductor, the professional with the welcoming smile making sure that there was nothing more you needed.

Everything 5 stars starting from the email communication, the very warm welcome on our arrival, the hospitality, the superb service we all experienced in the resort and the guided tour arrangement all dedicated to one of the 50's travellers world luxury escape!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the amazing rooms, delicious food to the most helpful, hospitable staff who instantly made you feel like you’d known them for years. Can’t wait to return again one day!

Amazing! The architecture is world class, matched by friendliness and effectiveness of staff. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, spacious with spectacular views. All inclusive policy is so civilized having just come from a place that was supposed to be at same level but they charged for everything! One of best, among many great, places we’ve stayed!

Not flawless (lacked a bit of attention to detail getting our names wrong, losing track of our return flights and a couple lapses in the restaurant), but it was still excellent luxury with beautiful setting, generally delicious food and very friendly and attentive staff. Would give 4.5 stars if that was an option.

We recently had the privilege of returning for another stay at Saffire… and WOW! This place is incredible! Apart from the stunning architecture, interior spaces, scenery, food, wine and activities, the staff are so thoughtful and sensitive to every guest, giving so much of themselves, that it really makes the whole experience even more special. For anyone with the means to stay here, it really is such a unique and premium showcase of Tasmania on every level — the Saffire experience is not to be missed!

Most definitely the greatest place to stay of all time. Everything was absolutely perfect in every way. Exceptional guest focus and phenomenal, comforted atmosphere created by Justin King and all staff. An unforgettable experience, certainly highly recommended.

The most luxury hotel I ever been, just like a heaven. You can eat anything you want (not buffet). Their own brand oyster is the best of the best. the view of wine glass bay is prefert and the environment is very clean and tidy just like a 6 star hotel. the staff are so friendly and everything is 10 out of 10, nothing can complain.

This is one of the most luxurious properties I've been to. The attention to detail of the staff is second to none. It's a small boutique resort and the staff outnumbered the guests 2:1 so the service was impecable. The views from every room are the same and gorgeous. The kitchen staff prepared spectacular meals and we really enjoyed everything. You really must stay here if you're visiting the Freycinet National Park.

My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. This is the perfect place for some serious, luxurious R&R. Everything was absolute perfection from the room to the food, and the location to the hospitality. With an extra special thanks to Russell; the General Manager, Paul; the tour guide, and Taye; the masseuse from the Spa… you made our weekend a very special one and one to remember. You've set the bar very, VERY high!

Saffire Freycinet is one of the most indulgent, relaxing and private resorts I have ever visited. Even before you arrive the service starts with a private lounge for arrival and departure at Hobart airport. Champagne and a personal tour on arrival. With only 20 suites and 40 guests, the staffing can peak at 100, so the service levels are excellent. The staff all seemed know your name, be aware of your activity timetable and were clearly encouraged to chat, not just provide service, which makes you feel very welcome. The view of Freycinet National park are spectacular, whether from the main entrance, your suite or even your bed. Beautiful flowing architecture, private bushland settings and attentive staff. Great little touches like separating the air conditioning from your suite, so your room is a perfect temperature yet still silent. There is an excellent set of menus changing daily but all entirely customisable for your own preferences, combined with possibly Tasmania's best cellar rumoured to have 2000 bottles. The lunches combine interesting complex salads with a choice of hot main dishes. Activity highlights included the mineral salts bath followed by a relaxing massage and certainly the oyster experience. Visiting the oyster farm and standing out in the water at a white-clothed table, wine, cheese, condiments and having oysters literally lifted out of the sea and shucked for you to eat moments later. Amazing.

Fabulous location with exquisite accommodations matched by impeccable service and delicious food with an extensive list of wines. The staff is truly exceptional and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and well taken care of. The food and beverage amenities in the rooms are off the charts. This place is expensive but a very good value. I recommend a stay of at least three nights. Four would be better.

The adventure excursions are great. Try oyster shucking in the middle of a nearby river; it's one of their signature trips.

One of the best resort experiences in Australia. The service is really intimate and attentive — nothing is too hard. The food is excellent, and I am usually very picky when it comes to food. The rooms are extremely well appointed and very cosy. Views to die for and the complimentary activities are excellent. Must do the fresh oyster shucking.

Spectacular setting with outstanding food, wine, oysters and service. Rivals the best safari lodges in South Africa. To top things off the GM chased us down the road in his car when we left our iPad at reception. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. We chose Saffire for our elopement wedding and couldn't have chosen better. The staff are genuinely friendly, super efficient and seem to be able to know your every need. The suites are out of this world with fantastic views. The food Is just superb, our tastebuds were in ecstasy with every meal. Our only disappointment was having to leave, we can't wait to go back.

There is nothing like Saffire Just pure bliss Do yourself a favour and experience it.
