I'm a regular customer at this venue as l enjoy a meal with my family every month or so. The meals are really good with lots of variety and specials for every taste. Have tried many of the other local watering holes but found problems with the service or quality of the food which l have not experienced at the Findon. The grand-daughter enjoys the kids play area they have their.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The steak was cooked exactly to my liking. It was a nice and quiet evening with friends on a Sunday night. Great value for money.

My meat was tuff My salad had mold on a few pieces of lettuce. When notifying a staff member, she then went to get the chef, to my disappointment all I got was I'm sorry I'll check the rest of the salad. There was no offer of another salad. Very upsetting to think that there was no care factor. I will not be dinning there again, and recommending to my family and friends. Very upsetting.

Well priced meals. Steak was beyond well done and was ordered medium.

Fabulous if you have young kid. Children meal free with adult main on Sunday Monday and Tuesday. Small play area and TV for kids. Staff and other patrons very friendly. Will defiantly go there again.

Suburban pub with me as and a massive amount of pokies Has cheap accommodation that was once popular for footy park but no longer used.

A family friendly pub with great meals and a nice atmosphere. Staff are extremely helpful. The indoor childrens playground is delightful and helps keep the little ones occupied. There is a gaming room. There is a gorgeous alfresco area which almost makes you forget you are on a main rd.

Excellent steak, the best around our area, with great service always. We go back all the time. Specials are great all week. Atmosphere lovely too. Recommend it, especially for family. Kids love it too.

Best steak I've had in a very long time The limited time 2 for 1 was a bonus because that was worth every cent of full price!

Nice friendly service and the food was of a reasonable standard. Happy hour drinks were great! $5 pints of premium beer is good in my books.

Food was great and large portions. Service was quick. Very friendly staff.

Disgusting room. Dirty. AC for the pub 6 feet from your bed. Only place in my life that I have asked for my money back and left. Would prefer to sleep in my swag in the parking lot. Do yourself a favour and sleep anywhere but here. Receptionist couldnt have cared less.

Haven't been in a while and tried their new menu recently. It has improved and food was really great. Pub itself a little outdated. No fancy bar, pretty standard. Small playground for young children. Would go back again for food.

Great place. Friendly staff and pretty decent food. Its quite a nice pub with modern decor but still has that old school pub feel. They sometimes have some decent heavy bands play on weekends too. 4 stars. (Hey… Its my local! ) The staff definitely go the extra mile for customers though. Well done. Its an uncommon thing these days.

The pub is brilliant but l have to say the stay in the hotel was not the best sleep, mattresses are way too soft.

Walked into my room and it smelled like cigarette smoke found a coffee cup full of butts at veranda door. The cups and glasses were dirty and the shower curtain had mould growing on it up about a foot no spoons or tea towel. Reported the problems and was moved into another room… the carpet was so stained I wouldn't take my shoes off and the air con tower outside the window kept me away all night. Also rooms are up 3 sets of very steep dirty stairs… I left the next day and found a wonderfully clean motel for nearly the same price.

Nice food. Nice staff. Pub meals at pub prices. A few different beers. Good for families, some alfresco seating and summer dining.

Value for money! Not a hight end luxury hotel but it has all you need… AC, Heating, Mini Fridge, Kettle and mugs, TV, Room service, Wi-Fi.

In the Pokie area. Very friendly staff, service with a smile. Went to extra effort to satisfy this customer.

Good facilities and food menu. Couple of issues with the food but otherwise enjoyable. Playground great for the kids.

Great little pub. With a great little atmospheric.

Dined with friends (8 in total). The meal choice was good. All meals arrived within 20 minutes from order time. I had Jamaican Jerk Chicken the portion was huge and yummy. The hot sauce was fiery and didn't taste a cheap supermarket sauce. Only complaint was 2 of us wanted steak but they had run out and it was only 6pm.

The food was fine but it cost way too much. $18 for a croissant? I know that the buffet is included but all they had at the buffet was cereal, fruit, juice and doughnuts. Nothing warm simply cold and my previous review was deleted without my consent. No good.

Daughter and I had Singapore noodles, terrible. Could not eat much if the dish. Tasted like stock out if a box, with last night's pieces of left over chicken and vegetables, plus a great amount of sliced carrot and, bit cheap.

One Star is for supporting live bands. Unfortunately all areas of restaurant service very poor. Gluten free meal ordered arrived full of bread croutons. zero care factor i had no dinner No refund was offered.

Temporary accommodation is good. You can have gaming place, bar and restaurant.

Long wait on food, some dishes appeared to have dried out while waiting for others to be made.

Old English pub part at the back is great, my local. Guinness on tap, OK schnitzel but awesome atmosphere.

Food was over cooked, they gave one of our meals to another table and another friend of ours who dined with us was sick all night after eating their.

Were heading to the basketball and thought a meal nearby would be a good idea. Not this place though. We rang to book for 5:30pm and arrived at the Rat and Parrot to find there was no booking for us after waiting to be served for 5 minutes. The barman suggested we may be booked in at The Topaz next door, which we were, would have been nice to have been told that on the phone. The staff didn't appear to want to step out of their specific role, or know how the ordering process went, and we spent another 5 minutes moving up and down the bar after starting under the order here sign and being told we needed to go to the other end to order. We were then told to go back to the other end where we started! The daughter was told she wasn't able to get the pizza she wanted as they had run out of adult pizza bases, so she ordered something else only to be told that they actually were available, communication was terrible between the staff. By now 15 minutes had elapsed and it was a further 30 minutes and having to ask where our food was before the kids meals came out. In the mean time tip off time was getting ever closer and the missus getting more stressed. Our meals finally arrived 5-10 minutes later with the excuse of the kitchen being down a chef, something that should have been mentioned at the start. In the end we had to race to eat our food to leave enough time to get to the match. Never coming to this place again.

For a pub the meals were excellent, pricey but worth it for the range they offer, great service, we took five kids with two couples and no-one complained or was under fed. A large coke is exactly that, a large coke. Great pub meal.

The meals my wife and I had were nice my snitty was nice as was her beer battered barramundi was nice as well.
