Fabulous meal and atmosphere and the kids love the indoor playground. The staff are also fantastic Well done great effort all around.

Thoroughly recommend The Links Hotel. We had the Seniors meal and the food was great. Thoroughly recommended. Will definitley be back again. Love the renovations they look great. The staff are very friendly.

The $15 seniors 2 course meal was delicious and the Covid Marshall was a barrel of laughs. Great food and excellent service. We will be back. Thank you.

First time we’ve been here in over 5 years and wow has it improved. A much needed face lift and the place is looking fantastic. Friendly staff. Meals were a major improvement. Great value. Generous servings and very tasty.
We’ll be back. Keep up the great work and word will get around. The area is missing a great little local.

Every meal i've had there so far is amazing but yesterday first time since Covid, the staff held the kitcken open for my mate and I and went out and beyond for us to make our experience better. Meals and service were amazing, strongly recommend!

Been here a few times now and haven’t had bad service, food has been great, staff very friendly though sometimes waiting awhile for them to come out of the gaming room, only suggestion would be a different soup every so often, even though the pumpkin soup is great, we have been there 6 times and a change would be nice. Otherwise, would definitely recommend, steak was fantastic, great choice. :-) Ken.

Rude manager. Terrible and awful service. Some of the bar staff were ok and friendly but the manager was disgusting towards some patrons and made me and my family very uncomfortable. Won’t be heading back any time soon. Needs new management urgently.

Great meals, came out quick which was fantastic as we had events to attend, very friendly staff no faults at all, we will be back when we are in adelaide again.

The food would be better served hot.
supposedly fresh rolls cold blobs.
Pork was like boot leather.
Spoke to staff, They couldn't have cared less.
We have been regulars but no more.

I was very disappointed with the lack of salad/veg bar. The salad bar was just doubled up with not much variety and half of the trays were empty. The veg bar was completely empty at 12 45 when we arrived. It was not refilled unti 1 15. And even then the potato bake cheese was runny and potatoes were not cooked properly. This is not the first time I've had this issue. I hadn't been to this venue for about 3 months but decided to try again. Not worth it I say.

Had the chicken scallopini and it was fantastic. Great salad bar and great assortment ofvalue meals as well as great choice of deserts, etc.
Plenty to keep the kids occupied and friendly staff always willing to help.
Add to that beers were $5 each all weekend!
The host John is an absolute delight and always bends over backwards to keep customers happy.
Highly recommended!

We just got home from having a delicious and affordable dinner at the Links Hotel. The staff were all really lovely, helpful and supportive to our family unit — and went way more than the extra mile to make us feel welcome with our one year old… a rare find! To top it off, Mary (one of the staff members) made my little guy's night when she gave him a helium balloon as we left — you couldn't wipe the smile off of his face and ours. … Thank you.

Pretty basic deco inside but the 2 for 1 meal deals are great! Big range of shntizel toppings and decent salad bar too.

This was the most shocking meal I have ever had! I ordered a beef schnitzel and this black frizzled thing came out on my plate. I have never sent a meal back in my life but I just had to. The waitress who was very nice came back to me and said the Chef said it was that colour because it was a beef schnitzel and was I sure I wanted another one because it would come out exactly the same. I said I’d like another one please and I have eaten plenty of beef schnitzels and they had never been that colour. I think the next one that came out was the same one as the first. I took a bite and it was disgusting and it smelled like it was rotten. I couldn’t eat it and was not offered anything else or my money back. My Mum ordered bangers and mash and the sausages were still raw, she had one bite. Again, no offer of another meal or money back. We then got questioned about an ice cream I had ordered and paid for and it was not given until proof was found that it had been paid for. We will never set foot in this hotel again which is very sad because many year ago we used to run it when it was a very busy and successful hotel!

After spending a few nights at the links I have had great sleeps and welcoming room. My sons and I had our meals in the the house of schnitzel. My boys love the the schnitzels and this time I had the Wagyu steak and it was AMAZING… I will be back again.

Decor hasn't changed in 30years. Food ok but dear for whdat you get. Haven't been there for a few years. Won't be going back for a long time to come.

Great family atmosphere and the meals are price recently good for the quality of the food that is offered on the menu. Also, selected days have great meal deals. Plus, they have a large range of machines to choice from. And at last the staff @ Libks Hotel offer great services with a smile ☺

The customer service at the Links Hotel was ridiculous, they weren't very inviting when entering the facility. When ordering food it seemed to be to much of an effort for them and the vibe was as though they didn't even want to be there.

Went to the Links on Sat Night for the Lobster/Steak special, I had the whole lobster, so small it's a wonder it was a legal catch, very very disappointed with the taste or should I say lack of taste, this is not Lobster Mornay, just putting a bit of white sauce and cheese on top and placed under a grill to melt the cheese, the white sauce was foul, we used to go to the Links many years ago on a regular basis including many Christmas Days and haven't been for such a long time we thought hey lets go back, wrong move, won't be going back, what a wasted effort…

A good family hotel save place for kids to escape to older ones are also catered for great vegy bar half price meals generous serves.

Friendly, prompt staff. Very good food and solace where you can afford a drink or two without over the top prices.

Attended for a wake, nibbles and drinks. The Links hotel is always a good visit. It's not perfect, but it is genuine. It provides good features for kids small and large. Plenty of parking and disabled facilities. And if you over do it, they have motel rooms.

The Links is a great pub — especially on Friday night for karaoke! Bar service is always friendly, prices very reasonable and there seems to be a positive vibe there. Recommended!

Food was good but it took about twenty minutes to get to us, even though we were one of the only families in there. Chairs were uncomfortable and peeling. It smelled very bad in there and it was like that the whole time. The free Wi-Fi was awful even though there was low device traffic at the time. The PlayStations were annoying as there was only one game. The toilets were clean and didn’t smell bad and the staff were friendly.

Wouldn't stay at links hotel if you paid me disgusting the only good thing about that place was the hot water. Need to do more house keeping. Don't recommend going there.

Absolutely recommend this hotel. If you're looking for a comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation close to the airport then this is it. The accommodation is on ground level which is great because I travel heavy. The schnitzel house menu is for parmy lovers and when you're a guest, there's 25% discount off your meals. Love the vegetables buffet. I'll stay here again, thank you.

A PLACE TO GO FOR A YOUNG FAMILY Love the child friendly and child-fun entertainment facilities like the indoor playground aswell as the free kids games and other that are provided in the dining area of the hotel. MY KIDS LOVE IT HERE! A Definite place to go if you’re wanting to catch up with friends with minimal child interruption or boredom. Kids play in undercover, secure area which can be monitored from indoor in the dining section or or by sitting by the playground area. This is definitely a family friendly hotel catering for kids and family friendly surroundings. It not a place for people who have issues with children or child like banter. A huge plus is the professional Face painting offered on Friday nights. Impressed with the quality of artists used and it’s FREE!. The staff are really lovely and friendly and food is reasonably priced and meals have always been pleasing and are served without delay.

Very good salad bar that comes with soup and warm bread rolls. Mains are excellent.

Casual, clean and great value for money. Excellent family friendly dining a bonus. Recently refurbished and good customer service.

Nice meals, with a salad bar. Has entertainment for the children including a hermit crab tank which my nephew was captivated by. The serving size is enormous with some of us struggling to finish their meals. Drawing pencils are available for kids big and small.

This is quite nice. The karaoke is good and people get up and dance. The bar staff are friendly and lovely too.

We go to the links every Friday for dinner and tonight will be the last time, over the last 6months it's gone down hill. Portion sizes have gotten smaller, the quality of the food is worse. Tonight I got a Mega Aussie chicken schnitzel that was paper thin and smaller than an Aldi schnitzel out of the packet, my son had 7 chips on his plate and three paper thin portions of fish. Never again will we eat here, plus the ass hole rude chef who was filling the salad and veg bar can neck one. The girls at the front are always friendly but the kitchen staff has made this place go down hill quickly.

A very clean & friendly place, good food, cheap prices. I totally recommend Links Hotel, also the beer garden is a lovely cool place to sit & enjoy your drinks & or yummy meals.

We had the most amazing steaks for lunch. Great prices too. Best steak we have had for at least 4 years and we do eat out regularly.

Great food, fantastic quality, the staff were friendly and very helpful, they saw to every need and request, however it took over an our to get out food.

Third visit. Third time waiting for food. Last night. Nearly an hour late. Kids had eaten and where ready to go before the adults got there meals.

Great stay staff were great friendly very helpful, meals were good quick service in restaurant food was YUMMY. Room we had was very clean tidy bed was too soft for us but that's just us. But do need to put more sugar in rooms 4 sugars just don't cut it sorry I'm a sweet tooth lol. Also it would be helpful and safer if u put a sign up saying watch step in bathroom as husband injured toe exiting bathroom. We will be back again thx for a gr8 stay.

Ordered the mushroom risotto with chicken. Tasted like boiled rice slapped together with spinach and chicken — it had no cream. Apparently other people have also complained about this dish, hopefully they either removed this of the menu or learn how to make it properly. Other than that our other meals ordered were nice and there was a salad bar and kids playground.

Terrible food. Terrible service. I spent the night sick on the couch after eating here.

Went here for dinner Wednesday night not impressed at all firstly I was over charged by $15 went back and questioned it reason was new computer system and only got back $12. The my daughters meal came out about 15 mins before ours so she was finished by the time we got ours. And we ordered the steak and ribs steak medium but came out well done dry and horrible to eat. I've given this place 3 chances now as each time meals have been crap with one time my chicken was under cooked. Now I will never return just crap food and staff not very friendly at all.

We spent a night at the hotel. The wooden shelf the fridge sat on was rotten through. We ordered meals at the restaurant at 7pm and did not receive it until 845pm and that was after we asked about it. Somebody else had been waiting an hour for theirs. Do not recommend.

We head to the links hotel every month or 2 to enjoy their schnitzels. The staff are friendly and the food is good. The indoor playground for the kids keep them occupied while us adults can chat.

Have been to the Links hotel many times but feel like my visit yesterday was not of the standard I have come to expect. Waited 20 minutes in line to order food and then another hour to wait, some had their orders wrong. Kids pizza was a tiny microwave style serving that they refused to remove the pineapple from as it was "pre-made/frozen" (the Exeter runs the same kids meal and gives a fresh made full (smaller) size pizza). Baby change table was almost falling off the wall which was awkward to change our two week old child. Disappointing as I would like to return but hope this was just an off night.

Service was fast. Stayed for a dinner, had a chicken summer surprise schnitzel and onion rings. Owing rings was amazing, schnitzel was alright, only wish it was a ring if pineapple not pineapple pieces.

It was my first time going to the links hotel. It was nice and clean and the heating was just right. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with the creamy garlic prawns. Was very good. Would go again.

Food is average. Good entertainment for the kids, but possibly too over stimulating for little ones.

Great lunch value buy 1 get 1 free schnitzel — they were delicious a good schnitzel — more iceberg lettuce in the salad please not rocket — good wine choice and menu variety. Staff were friendly will go back.

Good family atmosphere, cheap drinks, big selection of meals. Was a bit disappointed with the chicken dirty Guido, needed to have the guac on top after grilling instead of mixed in under the cheese. It was slightly dry. Good size and value for money though.

Hadn't been to the Links in years, and didn't expect to be blown away. Turns out the food was very tasty, service was efficient and the vegie/salad bar also a nice surprise. It wasn't busy either so the meals were quite quick.

Not the best pub that I've been to, though there is a nice beer garden, and they also have a restaurant with a huge range of schnitzel toppings. Okay for a cheap meal, and a drink, but little more.

We have been going and enjoying the Links Hotel Tapleys Hill Rd for years, however, NEVER AGAIN! I'll explain why, I approached the counter this afternoon (22/1/15 18:15PM) after making a last minute decision with friends to eat out post a big day to be greeted by a rude and obnoxious staff member. I had my smile wiped straight off my face by this staff member after she humiliated me in front of other patrons being served at the time and her fellow staff members including the manager!, I asked her if we could please have a table for 7, she said you come here all the time don't you, I said yes with half a smile this time (realising she was either joking around or being serious) I soon found out she was deadly serious. The staff member didn't stop there, she said that I should know better and I should book before I just drop in, I told here "look that's fine if you have no tables we are not fussed", I said it doesn't matter really but she continued on, "yes it does matter (rolling her eyes, short of departed her eye sockets) the kitchen needs to know numbers". She said the table over there is free, I said great (only because my face was as bright as the beetroot in their buffet after being embarrassed by her). I went straight over to my wife who was looking after my son away from hearing distance and said we are out of here, you won't believe what just happened, I briefed her and walked out.

We had lunch there today and the food was really nice. The salad bar was very tasty and fresh. I will be going back there again. I am a cook by trade and highly recommend it.

Terrible food. Gave it a second try but will never go again. I am a local.
