I was attending a friends bday party in one of their function room. The service was not bad. Staff was reasonably friendly. Good food and drinks as well.

Food was great. Staff was very professional but also cheerful & welcoming. Enjoyed the atmosphere, & friendliness.

STEAK NIGHT! Sent it on Friday night down at the walkers hotel. $20 for a steak, salad, chips and a glass of red. Serious deal, in a good spot. The steak was ordered medium rare (the only way to eat steak) came out alright, burnt on the outside, cooked perfectly in the middle. The steak was small but hey its $20 what can you expect.

Was almost completely perfect, only issue is that some of the menu items weren't as described. I ordered a BIT and didn't receive avocado and had a different bun. Was still a really good meal it was just a little confusing. Other than that the service was good and the food tasted really good :)

Really clean. Food was good. Just could have one more staff member on drinks coffees etc.

Today we went for Lunch to your Hotel & afraid it was a let down there was 5 of us so looking forward to a great meal. I had rung Day before to make the booking. The service & hospitality was well there was NONE! The meals were serverd, with here they are! & One had steak it was over cooked & Dry small serve seeing it was from main meal. One had fish it was ok But the Salad consisted of a bowl of Lettuce & 3 Coils of onion, is that a Salad? Two had Wraps which actually got tick of approval the other had A Pasta Dish We then asked waitress if they served sweets well that was SO much effort & eventually it was also served with here you are. I am a lady on Oxygen & a Walker & no consideration was taken as to where we were Seated, so put up the Step with Bench seating. No thought put into us. We are a small group of People with Lung Problems & many health. Issues. I am not usually one to complain but just wanted you to understand how we felt treated today. Thanks for your time. Helene.

Visited here with a friend for lunch. There is a nice open area, where on this particular day (a Sunday) they had specials on Pirate Life and other craft beers and pizza slices. But we ended up having the kitchen meals. My chicken parmigiana was quite nice and up to standard for the price (around $23). Haven't stayed here or tried other drinks but would be interested to, as it seems like a well run modern and up to date hotel.

A nice place to party — the outdoor bar in summer has a water mister to keep you nice and cool. Indoors the all you can eat meal is no more. The chairs are comfy and the decor was nice green and white last time we were there. Havent been back since it got higher priced.

The atmosphere was very nice. There was an outdoor area (where people were watching the footy) and the indoor area. We sat indoors and enjoyed our meal without being overly disturbed by the people watching the game. The bartenders were very nice and made the drinks we were after even though they weren't menu items.

Excellent table service with delightful manners. Staff are friendly and helpful in making both food and wine choices. Good atmosphere without tables being too close so relative privacy and intimacy. Extensive wine list. Aged meats cooked to perfection, fresh quality vegetables and salads. Costs are reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Had my Mum's 80th birthday party last night and honestly cannot fault anything … ALL. Staff were amazing, food was delicious and served very quickly. A fantastic night had by all… would not hesitate to come back again and recommend. A particularly great venue for a large function.

Venue looks really nice. Was there in a big group and it took almost an hour for us to get our food and it wasn't busy enough to warrant that sort of time. Food was nice but not amazing.

Very well located bar/hotel. The inside of the bar is very modern which is great for watching sports. The food menu has great variety and even has a vegan menu. Really enjoyed my meal.

Stay in the Hotel regularly, back rooms are large and well appointed with great spa baths. Front rooms suffer bar and North East Road noise. Bar and beer garden are great with great food menu options.

Nice pub. Great live music which is why I go. Good bar service.

Staff are a 5 but the range of food not as great. If you are a vegetarian it's a struggle. Saying that it's very popular and the decor is lovely. The outside seating area is great. Conference areas are available for hire. Clever use of sliding doors to partition off area. Doesn't block out noise from other areas is there is an event going on I general area. Sweet potato fries are Delish.

Loved my night there. The platter we ordered for 4 was absolutely amazing and well worth it. The spirit stinks were well prices and the beer was on special. A great night and experience alk round. Definately go back again :) 9/10

Lovely hotel with a fantastic beer garden. Really expensive beer and spirit prices. $9 for Super Dry is exhortation.

Different from other hotel dining rooms — today it was a very hot day so they had cool mist blowing across the enclosed sheltered outdoor dining area.

Absolutely beautiful setting. Indoor outdoor seating. Wonderful booths with their own TVs. Can see us going back to relax watching sports soon with friends. Food was delicious.

Went to a function where we paid $700 for a private area and the staff and the management of the event didn’t keep people out. My friend had to take it upon her self to get people out of a space that she paid for? Poor service. On top of that, the staff were gossiping about how my friend was telling other patrons to leave they space SHE had paid for. Ugh. Oh yeah, and they messed up the tab somehow. How hard is it to keep track of that?

I have only ever entered into the restaurant. It is good food (a little pricey) however totally worth the visit. Good vibe and often is filled with people!

Checked in, they lost our booking and found out they checked someone else in in our name the day before. Band playing right underneath our room VERY loud. Room decent but not worth the price.

Great place to stay, the staff were great on arrival and in general were friendly to deal with. The rooms are modern, clean and quiet at night considering the bar below. Very comfortable rooms, great bed and amenities. Room service is on offer if needed and the food is of a good quality, not your standard pub grub!

Not bad but there to watched footy GF. Looking at 4 different TVs all with different aspect ratios. Not one of them right… Otherwise burger was great and they sold beer.

Had my step daughter's engagement party at the walkers, was a good function room and great staff and food. However as for the accommodation I was very disappointed. Lost our booking twice and when they finally got the booking right we didn't get what we asked for. Instead of spa suite we got deluxe. The key card didn't work and I got another two that didn't work well at all. The room was so hot we tried to use the aircon and that didn't work. So I opens a window. Well that involved noise from the beer garden. I checked the aircon filter and it was full of dust, and no one came up to fix it. Anyway I wouldn't stay there again.

Great food and excellent service. Found us a table when they were fully booked and then gave our daughter a bundle of balloons to take home.

The service and food were amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic. The rooms are great value for money.

The food is great with a regularly updated menu. It is a modern feel good venue with lovely staff who understands the terms 'HOSPITALITY " and "CUSTOMER SERVICE ". A favourite local haunt for me!

Nice interior, good choice of spaces to dine in with different acoustics. Felt dressy without feeling exclusive. Had to seek out staff, no one approached us. Staff were friendly when approached. Plenty of carparking. Food was good.

Lovely place for a meal. We were a walk-in, but even though they were all booked out we got squeezed into a table before its reserved time. Meals got brought out quickly and were delicious.

Had dinner there on Wednesday night, was really crowded due to State of Origin and the line to order food moved pretty slowly. However, our meals came very promptly and the serves were very generous and the food was delicious!

Great atmosphere and the food was amazing. You have to try the salty pig pizza. A great place for lunch, dinner or to catch up with friends.

Fantastic room! Great size, big bathroom, comfortable kitchenette. Love the retro green brown decor. Sound from the TV is piped through ceiling speakers. Bloke who signed me in was very helpful. I've stayed in well over 200 hotels here in Oz and overseas, this would be in my top 5. I'll add some photos when my stuff isn't all over the place!

Great place for a drink. Nice and open, always friendly staff, good food, good drink. What else is there?!

Was unfortunate to dine in the restaurant, not the buffet, on 7 May. Meals were very small portions and high prices for the size of the meals. Fish and chips tasted ok but 2 small (about the size of a large match box) portions of fish and about fourteen chips for $20 make this an entire rip off. 9 more people not coming back, Good one, Walkers Arms.

The walkers arms is still a trendy place to go. The interior is starting to show some signs of wear since it's renovation. Good location if you don't want to go into the heart of city for a good time. The last couple of meals I have had there were average.

I went to the walkers arms for a friends birthday drinks. The chairs were comfortable, two for one cocktails affordable and delicious, music enjoyable and our waiter Samee was fun and helpful.

Good food. Comfortable setting. Great selection of beers. Will be back.

I've eaten at the Walkers Arms numerous times and I really felt it was a place I could recommend for friends and family, but tonight's dinner was honestly disappointing. The food was old, as if it had been left out for a few hours at least, nothing was very satisfying and the deserts were sub par at best, especially the "Chocolate" mousse, which could hardly be called chocolate. I'm incredibly disappointed, even with the drinks that tasted watered down and gross. I really wish I could say nice things but I just can't.

We went to have buffet with my kids last night. Most of the food were very salty. We can't eat much at all and prawn and cold mussel we're not very fresh and not clean. My husband and I have stomach ache last night night and this morning. We both felt really sick. Jelly was very liquid, not yet ready to be serve. My daughter was very disappointed. We just wonder why walker arm charged us extra $4 for my child? Isn't it kid eat free for the early session? We browse the website again and read the conditions and terms It never mention about $4 fee for kid. Anyway, we did not enjoy the food…

All you can eat, the first sitting gets you asked to leave, just hold off till the second sitting. Prices vary wildly across different nights.

Went here for dinner. Good selection of food, but quality a bit disappointing for price. All other aspects were fine. Would come back, but not in a hurry.

Grrat food maybe a change of food to there menu tho since it hasnt been. Great service must go to.

Bar staff were quite rude to me and ignored me when waiting in the correct area. They proceeded to serve other patrons in the "No Service Area". I feel staff there operate on a double standard and as I was not as good looking as those being served in these areas, my money isn't as good to spend. So unless you are young, fit and good looking, they don't want to serve you.

The room was nice but the spa is pretty small. We thought breakfast would be at the restaraunt but was actually just a bag in the fridge consisting of a small box of cereal, a yoghurt, a prepackaged fruit salad and an orange juice box all from the shops. Bed was comfortable and the Moet & chocolates were a nice touch.

Cheapest all-you-can-eat restaurant in Australia. Heaps of different foods from asian, Italian, Mediterranean and local dishes. For $25 ($33 on weekends and holidays) you can have any entrée, soup, main meal and dessert. The ambience is quite good as well but because it is cheap buffet, expect that there will be many people dining.

Went there for smorgasbord lunch. Food was average to say the least. Best thing was the donut machine, we could have gone to Donut King for that. Very disappointed. Also noticed chairs and tables near us had food smears on them. We were the first lunch service that day. Clearly not much gets cleaned.

Nice garden section… but forget the buffet. If you like good food then go elsewhere. Dry overcooked selections and not replenished often enough. Not worth the $$$.

Parking is not great at all. Very confusing setup and very few bar and wait staff. Beer selection and dining area were great. Bar staff are slow. I would have purchased more beers if I did not have to wait in a 20 minute line. This place could rate higher if they planted someone at each door to direct customers, and HIRE MORE STAFF!

Had the 300grm beef parmigiana from the al la carte menu. Tasty and good size. Great chips.

Excellent venue, The Fresh Buffet is one of the Best in Adelaide! The Walkers Arms… you'll always leave satisfied.

Love the buffet! Make sure you book in advance. The atmosphere is great and there is a separate beer garden area for those not eating.

Good buffet, all you can eat, the prices are a bit high though but the food is good they have a wide variety of food and desserts available, good service, staff are constantly taking your plates so you can start fresh.

I have had dinner at Restaurant. Chose Kill Patric oysters (were little burn on the top and very spicy). Just a month ago I have had same Entree at Windy Point, so can compare with the state of art from last month. So Entree start with disappointment. One star for Entree. Main was kangaroo, which was not bad, but cannot compete with Windy Point. But I can say 4 start for kangaroo was fair. Desert was very nice. Can give 5 star. Cannot figure out why my desert was about 50% of my partner, but well. Thins happened. Disadvantage is you need to order food in one place and drinks in another. There is no waiter service. Cost was about 70% of similar dinner from Windy Point, so it was not huge difference. Overall 3 star are OK. Not consider to back for next dinner.

Awesome beer garden, not too bad a la carte menu, AWFUL buffet.

The all you can eat buffet was fresh, hot and catered for different tastes. A bright, airy modern feel to the dining room and has a nightclub venue as well. I am looking forward to going back to experience an accommodation package deal.

Very nice food, all you can eat. Just one unique — if you will, thing I'd like to point out is the men's bathroom. The urinal is actually a wall, with a TV built into it. Classy. The only thing to criticise would be whilst my group and I dined, waiters/waitresses would tend to collect our dishes when we were not quite done, not a big issue as it is all you can eat (for a decent price) 4 stars out of 5.17/12/14.

The buffet had limited choice. Less than what we expected for $31. The quality of the food was not good. The prawns are not fresh, the sushi was made yesterday. The beer are expensive $11 for a long neck. Overall the look is flash and we would expect to pay top dollar for a great meal, but the food is a huge disappointment.
