Relaxing and beautiful food beautiful atmosphere very homely And the animals are a bonus.

Highly recommend for families. A very quirky and unique gem within bachelor. Owners are welcoming and friendly. Animals of all kinds for the kids to enjoy. Will be back 😀

Not a bad place for car to break down and be “stuck” at for a couple of hours. Pretty butterflies, animals to feed, my son was stoked to be tasked with relocating the baby bunnies. Thank you Chris for the hospitality!

Spent two nights here with family we had 3 cabins
Owners and staff were very friendly & welcoming
The layout of accommodation is very eclectic but in good way. The animal farm kept the kids occupied.
The restaurant food was excellent
The eating deck was cool and relaxing
Rooms are spacious and fine for 3 star what you would expect of 3 star facilities
This isn’t your run of the mill boring caravan park cabins
We enjoyed our stay and even had to go say thank you & goodbye when we left as we were made to feel welcomed and felt bad just walking out.

The proprietor was helpful, and lovely! The room was OK. We had a shower that leaked and the cod and double bunk bed was sort of odd. We only stayed for one night. The room was quite sizeable. Heico.

It was a bit rainy so not all the butterflies where out, although the ones we saw were beautiful, the croc and the animals were great, well worth the trip, pull into the pub on the way back for a coldie, very enjoyable day, DEFINITELY going back when the suns out to see what butterflies were hiding. Love the place ❤❤

I fell in love with this place. It has such a beautiful calming feel about it. The owner Chris is a great friendly bloke. We went for lunch & going back again for dinner. Kids menu available also.

A great place see the beautiful world of the amazing butterfly. Great host and good cafe and that bit extra with a petting farm for kids to enjoy. The butterfly enclosure is so peaceful and captivating watching all the butterflys in a natural environment. Love this place.

This place is a piece of heaven and people here are so friendly we can get a homely feeling and forget all the hustle and bustle of weekdays.

Quite an interesting place if I can use a term from late 60s a great band Iron Butterfly owned by an eccentric well retired Aussie very friendly and the beers are ready to flow looks like the place is falling apart but in good condition.

Was ok the butterflies were amazing but the place needs work. And the other animals need better housing.

We didn't stay here overnight but visited the butterfly farm. Very family friendly place with so many different animals. Beside the butterflies, there are lots of rabbits, goats, pigs, chicken and geese. You can feed them all and cuddle them. Spend some time here and calm down. Worth a visit.

A little bit pricey but still worth the visit. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Food was great. Pool was good.

Have now stayed at the Butterfly Farm twice. The first time at the homestay and second in a cabin. The themed rooms are clean and well maintained, the pool is refreshing and the waterfall adds to the atmosphere. The many rabbits, pigs and goats are great entertainment for the kids to wander through with a bag of carrots and the Butterfly house is beautiful. Chris and Angel are very welcoming and accommodating to their guests and a pleasure to chat to. This is quickly becoming our go-to accommodation when visiting Litchfield.

We've been there 4 times over the last few years. Always enjoy ourselves. Chris and Angel and the crew are just so accomodating. Love the painted themed rooms. The pool is refreshing and close to the bar… and the food is amazing. The kid loves the rabbit enclosures they keep her enertained for ages. The butterflies are just gorgeous. Thanks Batchelor Butterfly Farm. Keep up that wonderful family atmosphere.

Christopher is very friendly and fun. The place is a magical land for children with butterflies, bunny, dogs, chicken, pig… very nice breakfast, the toast in the shape of butterfly… a lovely place to stay…

I came here just for a peek, I ended up staying for nearly 3 hours!
Chris who owns this place and has for over 20 years is just wonderful. He has great anecdotes and he loves living and working here. I got a personal tour from Chris of the whole place. His accommodation is amazing and although I did not stay here I had to take some photos for my daughter and wife. I also took photos of the butterflies and the beautiful bunny rabbits and assorted wildlife that live here too. The interior reminds me of Bali a little and the African Oak tables and chairs that Chris made are really beautiful. I had a wonderful vegetarian meal and when the cook brought it out he said it was made 'with love'' — how very cool! I met Chris's lovely wife and one of his friends. Later the cook who really is of a chef quality joined us. We had loads of laughs and I was fascinated with Chris's life. A very special warm character is he. I love this place and next time I travel to Darwin I am definitely staying here. Great food great people great time. Enjoyed the Bob Dylan music in the background. Kids and oldies will love this place too! If you enjoy it half as much as I did you will long remember going to the Butterfly Farm in Batchelor.

What a wonderful paradise! Chris and angel are so down to earth and kind and happy! You are free to be and be still with the silent blessings of the butterflies and bunnies, chill out in the restaurant area where great music is always played, have a warm home cooked dinner full of love, be serenaded at night by crickets and frogs. The place is covered in art so it is like being a child again, exploring the lush green property. I cannot recommended this place highly enough :)
