Absolutely amazing food. Every single time the waitress walked past me she smiled… that was a lot! Thank you for such an amazing night.

Staff have the biggest attitude on them, they were all standing behind the bar drinking drinks and having chats instead of taking away our dirty dishes so I put them on another table to clear ours (the restaurant was literally empty). Once they bring our food over they forgot all extra sauces and salads. Onion rings and Diane sauce tasted like shittttt.

Ribs and rump amazing. Fish and chips disgusting. 3 small pieces of fish that were over cooked and over salted. Arancini balls flavourless.

Went for a nice family dinner and was disappointed I got the parmigiana and it was dry with no taste let alone minimum ham. But everyone else at my table had a complaint about the dish they ordered. I also found foil from a milk bottle in my beer glass and was told that was probably from the wash. Not only when I had something to say about everyone’s dinner I was responded with oh yeah whatever.

Food was great staff could smile and appreciate that fact that they have a job. Need training in customer service. Need to heat the plates pasta dish was cold.

Was not informed that there would be over half hour wait and people that order after us got their food first. Even though a basic steak sandwich and chicken schnitzel with chips is what we ordered. Raw chunky onion on sandwich they use meant to be caramelized. Over all really not happy with the place.

Went to order a meal and it was 8:31 and told kitchen closed at 8:30. Turned away for two people on a Thursday night. Very disappointed with service.

Horrible food, I now know of three cases of people getting sick. Not sure if they’ve been investigated or not. My wife is still not the best.

Under seasoned, overcooked steak for a $20 burger.
Tables are always sticky need new ones or rubbed back and re vanished I have now been twice for a meal. I dont think I will be back, very slow wait staff having to be told by other staff to clear tables when not many patrons there.

The worst Rib Fillet I have ever eaten, three bites in and I was done, for $38 dollars I wouldn’t even feed it to my dogs. The sauce almost made me throw up. The service was shockingly slow, we ended up clearing our own plates from the table. Over priced, rubbish food, terrible service, keep your money in your pockets, save your taste buds and go elsewhere.

I took my family to the restaurant for Fathers Day, and the function was good. The food was good too, but what lurks behind this place is a very dark secret. We sat at a table near the storage room. The door to the storage room was obviously locked closed. And every so often as we sat at our table, I swore I heard some dogs sulking in there. I saw other people notice it as well. I tried to ignore it, tried to convince myself there were no dogs and I was just hearing things. But the whining never stopped. Here I am at this restaurant trying to have a good time with my family, and enjoy my food. But I couldn't help but think about those poor dogs trapped in the storeroom, probably without food, water and anywhere to use the bathroom. Just begging to be freed. If that isn't animal cruelty, I don't know what is. What restaurant owner would trap their dogs in a storeroom like that, just leaving them to whine in agony. I asked a waitress if there were dogs in the storeroom, and she denied it. But that didn't stop the whining I heard from what could've been poor strained animals, begging for food and water.

Food quality is terrible. Would not recommend.

My wife and I had lunch at the Dalrymple hotel last Saturday. We had the fish and the pork ribs special. My pork ribs were a little watery which gave them a funny taste and texture but were otherwise ok, at least I thought. That night I woke up at midnight violently ill. I found myself to be throwing up and not being able to get off the toilet. I have never been so sick. If I hadn't of re-assured my wife than I have no doubt she would have called an ambulance and I would have been admitted to hospital. The next day I was severely dehydrated but still managed to write an email to the restaurant detailing what transpired, what I had ordered and at what time those events happened, including that lunch was the first thing I had to eat that day besides a slice of toast for breakfast. I did this in the hope that it would make the restaurant aware of what happened so that they could take the necessary precautions in order to prevent a reoccurrence (in accordance with state health regulations) as well as giving them the opportunity to resolve the issue with me as the customer. I received a phone call this morning from Geoff (the venue manager) who informed me that, in his opinion, it wasn’t their food that made me sick as they had served multiple orders of the same dish and I was the first complaint (at this stage and so he says) and in no way, would they accept responsibility for it. This completely contravenes the relevant policy and publications set out by Queensland Health.

Allround great place has everything you need for a stop over.

Had a great night watching king parrot, staff behind the bar were great. But just a note to the venue manager if you are going to have a heavy metal band in your venue, don’t try kick people out for moshing. I watched one guy being aggressively shoved by the venue manager out of the venue for starting the mosh, before the lead vocalist said to bring him back. If your going to house a metal band be prepared for moshing! Also rushing everyone out of the venue after it finished was pretty sad on the dalys behalf. They were more interested in setting back up for the next day then accomodating to the patrons.

Terrible service. Waited over an hour for simple meals and when we went and asked staff said meals were being plated. Waited a while longer and no meals appeared so ended up walking out without getting our meals or a refund. Waited nearly an hour and half all up not acceptable! Must have lost our order.

Very accommodating towards allergens and made sure my 1 year old and myself could have a meal. Food was delicious as always.

Food was amazing would recommend to friends. The staff were friendly and quick to serve us.

Not impressed, changed menu now with no lunch steak. Got a steak burger steak was not nice no flavour at all. Asked what was on it had different sauces then menu said which plays on people with other medical problems. Use to come at least once a month for meals will not be returning.

Graziers resteraunt at the Dalrymple hotel is great. Great service, great food and not bad atmosphere. They have a kids play room which is good also.

Stay here twice a month. Great rooms for a great price. Food it the steak house is great, rooms are clean with massive beds. Also close to airport.

Disappointed tonight with the meals. Fish was small as and the steak wasn't well done as it was pink all through the middle and it was cold but we still ate it as it was getting late and more people coming into the restaurant. Next time if its not cooked properly I will ask them to do it right and supply a soft drink whilst waiting.

Service for food was quick and moderately priced. Really enjoyed the entrees. Would definitely eat here again.

Clean and spacious, very comfortable beds! Monica the cleaner was one of the loveliest people I've met, very efficient and excellent at her job. Would definitely stay here again. And the meals at the pub attached were very tasty and a good size. Thank you from Perth.

Great kids room. Food was great and definitely visit again.

Was great large meals. Play ground was a little dark. But the kids played once I went through with them.

Absolutely disgusting arrive at the steak house for dinner at 6 pm and lined up for half an hour, then we were told 1/2 to 3/4 hour wait did not get our dinner until 7.45pm and one meal was forgotten and when we go to the show to see Kevin bloody Wilson and we are told there are no seats wtf we brought tickets like three months ago you could of told us then first in best dressed for a seat because we would of told you to stick the tickets up your arse.

Terrible set up for events! No seating, went to dinner before hand. Arrived at 6, took 30 mins to line up and order food, got told food would be half an hour. Food arrived at 7:45, one meal was forgotten. We had 10 minutes to eat to get to Kevin bloody Wilson, only to have no seats and no standing room when we arrived!

Great Pub meals with Cosy atmosphere. Definitely a favourite place to go.

We sat in beer garden because of our little dog. Restaurant inside looked lovely. Cured smoked ocean trout and salt n pepper calamari spot on! Yum.

Great steaks and parmies. Good entertainment for kids with free arcade game tables and climbing playground with slide all indoors.

Went to see The Butterfly Effect! Band were amazing and happy overall. I have been to see a few gigs here, and although it's not the best venue, its now Townsvilles only venue. They actually had sound pretty much on point last night! But something needs to be arranged for better toilet access! Also over the cash only bar thing!

Always a stop for when I'm visiting up here. Didn't enjoy it as much this time. Order a rump steak. Cooked exactly Tommy liking, the steak was rubbery, flavourless & over disappointing. The over ambiance and noise was over the top. The kids playing area noise was spilling out in the restaurant. Not the pubs fault but still could've assisted in reduction of noise. We'll go back because if good value and good place.

Just had dinner at the Steakhouse. Always good friendly service and food. Great if you bring some small people with you. They have a playroom with a camera which parents can sit back and watch their kids on a screen in the dining area. Free old school video games for the bigger kids too. The reason for four stars is my medium rare steak was on the dry side. On my last visit a while ago, I had no problems but that won't stop me from returning.

Graziers restaurant: great steaks at ok prices. Great kids meals and play room. Keno available and TV playing different sports around restaurant. Meals come out quick and steaks are quality cuts. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend for families either dinner, lunch or special occasion.

Steak was passable. Prawn were great. Cool, engaging kids room.

Pretty good environment with big tables for events etc. And the kids area to play. The food had never impressed me to be honest. The fish has been mostly undersized with mostly chips but you're paying for a restaurant grade fish, not the cheapo fish and chips. Steak, again. Nothing to jump at. Quite expensive for what you receive. Plenty of wine variations in offer and bears on tap and bottled.

Dining environment was pleasant. A pub type restaurant with great food and drinks.

Spent a wonderful day celebrating Christmas with family by enjoying a brilliant buffet put on by the Staff and Team at the Dalrymple Steakhouse. There was plenty to eat and all children were given a gorgeous gift of good quality! Well done to all the staff — you were brilliant!

Cheap feed in the sports bar and the best bit is there beers are icy cold.

Good pub meals (Graziers-run restaurant) and kids love the playroom within the restaurant.

I had the chicken parmie. It was so good. Food was pretty fast and the staff were friendly!

Waited over an hour for 4 meals! Music was so loud from the sports bar you couldn't think. Staff were rude. Would never ever eat here again. Over priced for basic meals and basic service.

Everyone enjoyed their pub meal and the children's play area was convenient for the 2 year old. The play area has an active a camera so you can watch them at all times while sitting at your table.

The room was spotless the cleaners should be congratulated. So impressed by the week day cleanning staff so helpful and do a fantastic job, as for Saturday cleanning staff not impressed woken at 742am as cleanning staff member entered my room whilst I was still asleep. Hotel staff so lovely and accommodating, always helpful and friendly. Glaziers restaurant served beautiful not one meal could you complain about. The only problem was the delay of the time of the food coming out. 45 minutes is just crazy.

Seems to be a recurring theme. The venue is just not set up for live music. Good on you guys for bringing the acts but it's just not a good set up for that many people to go to a concert. The toilets are in the wrong spot with people having to push through the crowd to get to them. The bar is not big enough with limited staff. My brother and I were at Diesel and would have spent at least $150 over the bar… however due to the inaccessibility we decided not to drink at all and just see the show. Sorry, but I won't be back.

Great place to let the kids run wild in the playground arcade room while you enjoy a nice Tbone.

The pub was clean and modern, the staff were very friendly and the food was great! Went for lunch with work colleagues and the meals were at our table in a matter of minutes. The lunch menu is also value for money, and with regular specials throughout the week it's a place that I'd recommend.

Some unreal live bands/acts that play at the Dalrymple Hotel, good to see them bringing fresh entertainment to Townsville.

One of the better hotels. It's been all renovated and the book amazing music acts. I saw Peking Duk here and it was so much fun!

Great place to go for dinner, especially with kids. The playroom is a fantastic way to entertain the kids while waiting for dinner, and they love the kids club too.

I recently went there for Battle of the Bands concert. The atmosphere was great and the service at the bar was fantastic.

A nice venue for lunch — it was clean, modern, and had a good selection of foods for reasonable prices. The food tasted OK, but not spectacular. Nevertheless, it was overall a nice experience, and we'd be back again.

Been for. Lunch twice now meals were a decent price and salt and pepper calamari beautiful. A little slow to get meals out.

OVERCOOKED STEAK — I asked for a MR and received a WD, no meal check was done, brushetta average, calamari over cooked, side salad ok (maybe different dressing), garlic sauce needs work, no complaints about facility, overall good experience.
