I'd give it 3 stars the room was lovely and clean beds where comfy the only down sides where the rooms need a fan. When you limit the power too the room it literally takes 30 minutes for the room to cool down also 1 tiny thing of milk and 2 water bottles between 4 people for 2 nights isn't enough. The real down side was We didn't get much sleep due too people up the end partying right near our car all night long I believe they are permanent tenants to the hotel. I was literally waiting for the car to end up damaged all night due too them being drunk and their kids running around. No one could even use the pool as they had their family in it all weekend and clothes drying on the gate. I hope the hotel can do something to move them on.

It is so clean, modern and spacious. Comfiest beds and sheets. Staff are so warm and welcoming too.

5 stars every time. Highly recommend. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The apartments are nice and new with good air con and good size beds. Immaculate throughout the motel. Has a small outdoor pool. Fantastic location — 2 minutes walk to the beach where there are a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars. The best part of my stay has definitely been the customer service I have received which has been second to none. The manager goes above and beyond to help you and make you feel welcome. She is also very friendly and approachable. I will definitely be telling my company manager to use the motel for other employees in the future. Great to see a person taking such pride in their work.

Wow! What a beautiful room we had waiting for is when we arrived on Friday arvo for our free weekend stay hubby won last year at the Bowen fishing comp, we were given a beautiful welcome from owners. We had a lovely stay in Townsville for our first time. Thank u very much everyone for making our visit lovely n welcoming, hope to visit you guys again in the future. Thank you beautiful people.

I would highly recommend this motel. We were delayed at didn't get in until midnight. Reception waited and were very pleasant. The amenities were very clean. Good location as well. Just a walk away from the Strand and 5 mins drive from the airport.

My stay here far exceeded my expectations. It was spotless, comfortable, modern and quiet. The manager and her husband are the highlight and strive to ensure your stay is exceptional. They are fantastic. I felt right at home. I would highly recommend this place. Not one complaint at all.

Best accommodation in Townsville! We don't stay anywhere else. As a family of four that requires accessible accommodation we couldn't ask for more, 1 king bed 2 single beds — extremely comfortable. Fully accessible bathroom and kitchenette with washing machine and dryer in the room. Lots of room to move around. And always immaculately clean. Accommodation is also very reasonably priced and Denise the manager is lovely. Only a few streets from the waterfront and there is an accessible rock pool area for swimming. Love it!

This motel was amazing. Spotlessly clean, Denise and her staff could not have been more helpful. We stayed for 7 nights with no problems. Will not hesitate to stay with them again. Thanks to all for a superb week. Judy.

We stayed one night with a toddler It's a very nice, clean and peaceful motel. Service was excellent and the manager even took some time to look after our son while we were busy.

Clean and well-attended. Wi-fi reliable, far moreso than any points north we've been to. Wish we'd had time for the pool!

We were in desperate need of a place to stay on NEW YEARS NIGHT! Yes, we were silly enough to believe we could blow through a couple of towns and find accommodation easily. We called the Castle Lodge Motel late that night and the gent that answered the phone was lovely and more than willing to help. The motel itself is neat, clean, easily accessible, not too far from everything, and a great price.
