Great boutique park, a couple of blocks from the esplanade and beach. Very clean & tidy with very friendly staff to assist with anything you need whilst enjoying Hervey Bay. We will be back.

Great little park, short walk to beach, camp site and grounds are very tidy, credit to the managers here.

Stayed here twice. Great place. Very relaxing…The hosts are amazing. And even gave our kids a treat bag for the trip home. Very clean and great location. Very close to the beach and restaurants. Pet friendly. We highly recommend staying here. Great value.

What a fantastic hidden gem 💎 — this place sooo ticks all the boxes. Very very clean and well maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen and toilet block super clean and to top it off it’s a stones throw to the dog friendly beach 🏝. I’m not telling anybody about this place I want it just for us. Absolutely be back again for sure.

Palms was a great spot to stay with our pooch! We stayed in a cabin for the night. Accomodating, clean, comfy beds, great location, friendly staff. Can’t fault the place. Great camp kitchen set up. Everything you really need. Small intimate camp site. Would def recommend. Thanks for having us 💙

What a wonderful gem! The Palms is a friendly, quiet and clean camping ground. The mineral pool was precisely looked after and the eating area beside the camp kitchen was delightfully inviting with its gardens, fairy lights and water feature.
Our little family and puppy highly recommend this place.

The Palms is so close to the beautiful Torquay foreshore. The grounds & cabins are immaculate. Was a great place to stay for a quiet weekend away.

Thank you Kindly for accommodating our social motorbike group this weekend. We had booked several cabins, all checked in and out swiftly — even in wet weather. We were all pleased with the amenities, cabins and facilities. The cleanliness, and covid notices were great. The other guests were pleasant, we shared a table and conversations. Even the following morning guests chatted as we packed to leave having a laugh at our birthday singing. We used the camp kitchen which was fully stocked with everything you can need, covid practices in place, we disinfected before and after use also. Cabins are spacious, beds comfy and clean too. Extra blankets and pillows. Lights out 9:30pm and we all went to bed or the cabin. After a brief chat with management to encourage our more rowdy friends to settle down we stayed in doors with respect for guests. Bed by 10:30pm We can appreciate your effort in ensuring all guests have a pleasant time.

The park is very clean and very quiet. The management are extremely friendly and helpful. Love it.

Very friendly owners and atmosphere. Very peaceful with everything you could need, camp kitchen and comfortably fitted out eating area, large TV. Would definitely recommend this place.

Nice spot. A bit tight for big caravans. Had assistance reversing in from park managers.
There's no TV. Have to use outside cable connection. Sadly mine had no connector to attach to so out with the DVDs.
only staying 2 nights. Damp weather keeping things cool.

A very welcoming comfortable place to stay for the whole family. Cabins and Villas are perfect and in walking distance to Shelly beach, off and on leash beaches and so many amazing cafes and restaurants. The perfect place to stay and unwind, with or without your fur baby.
We will return very soon. ❤

Friendly old-fashioned hospitality was caring but not intrusive, cabin was clean and everything worked, price was very competitive, four-minute flat stroll to the esplanade, and our little dog was made welcome subject to reasonable conditions. A bedside reading lamp would have rounded off an amazing experience. Definitely recommended. Thank you.

We have just done a lap of Australia this is by far the nicest caravan park we have stayed in … lovely managers and everything is immaculate. We will be back with bells on.

Unfortunately we were only there for 2 nights! So wished we could have stayed longer! So recommend this place… home away from home. Management brillant, very friendly! Will definitely stay here again!

Room was nice and tidy. Shower could have done with a bit of a clean, mildew gathering round the drain.

Have stayed here a few times over the years It is a great little park the Management is very friendly and the camp kitchen is beautiful and well stocked Such a quiet place but close to everything. Highly recommend it to anyone.

This is a great caravan park! Probably the best I have ever been in. The park isn’t big which is a huge plus. The facilities are very clean. There is a problem with the pressure in the shower but it’s not that bad. The kitchen is big and stocked with pots, pans, cups etcetera. The location is excellent. It is just a short walk to the beach. I also walked to the botanic garden nearby and to the aquarium. That is a couple of kilometers but it’s a very nice walk along the beach. The Wi-Fi was also pretty good. It had good coverage and average speed. More than enough to keep in touch with your friends and family and browse on websites. We booked a trip to Fraser Island directly from the frontdesk and were picked up at the gate. The very friendly lady at the frontdesk also offered us a free night because we were taking the trip. It would otherwise would have cost us a day. I have never received such hospitality! It’s a shame I can’t give this place 6 stars.

Small camp ground but a really great one! Friendly staff and a fair prize! Also very uncomplicated with trips to Fraser. We just parked our car on the street and as we came back a day later in the night we could go straight on our old site!

Small but fine. Relaxed atmosphere in a neat caravan park. Helpful hosts who run the park in their own park in their own interest. 200 m to the beach, booking and picking up fraser Iceland tours on site including some tips on the tour.

A smaller park but very secure and very well managed. Neat and tidy and only five minutes walk from the beach. Highly recommended!

Small, pretty caravan park with the most beautiful camping kitchen we have encountered on our trip. All very clean, well located, small market for shopping in walking distance, beautiful beach accessible in 5 minutes on foot, pitches sufficiently large, very nice owners.

Great location, staff extremely helpful, Cabin is very well appointed and fresh and clean, I would highly recommend it as a place to stay.

A smaller caravan park, so it was nice and quiet even though it was school holidays and looked quite booked out. Not too far to walk to Torquay Beach, shops and cafe's. Stayed in the Value Villa which was very clean and had comfy beds. Great price! Golden canes provide privacy between the Villa's while sitting on the deck. Nice pool with seating. Staff were very friendly and obliging as we met up with family not staying there and they allowed them to visit and use the pool with us which a lot a places don't allow. The office has drinks and milk for sale. Pet friendly. We will be back!

Nice little family campsite 10 minutes from the beach. Excellent reception, the pitches are not very large but are well demarcated by plantations. Very clean sanitary, like the common kitchen.

Beautiful and quiet place! Everything is perfect clean and tidy. Definitely I can recomend this place for families or couples. They also offer information about tours to Fraser Island.

The park is really lovely. The camp kitchen is the best we have seen. The manager is most helpful. The pool is great. Clean toilets. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice, smaller park. We were on a grass site, power and water for $35/night, 2 people. The bathrooms are older but very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is excellent 2 of everything, including ovens and super clean! Friendly owner, very helpful and can provide recommendations. Easy walk to the beach and restaurant areas. Would recommend!

This is our third stay in three years at The Palms. The new owners are very friendly and helpful and have done an awesome job giving the park a great facelift. Everything is beautifully maintained and the grounds are manicured. The extension to the camp kitchen is very nice and gives lots of extra seating. The fact that the park is still pet friendly is a major plus for us and why we keep coming back.

A small and affordable campsite. Everything was very well maintained and clean. The sanitary facilities were also completely okay — I saw a lot of bad things on our trip. At the same time with 31, 50 AUD with electricity for the Campervan completely in the frame. We did not use the pool, but it says very well.

We were looking forward to our dog-friendly stay in Hervey Bay however didn't anticipate the owners micro-managing our every move. From the pool to the camp kitchen, they were there to advise and watch over. Some call that 'friendly' but it spoilt our stay. We cancelled the idea of staying an extra night as we could have more relaxing time at home. The large quantity of permanent residents also spoil the park. Toilet/shower block in desperate need of renovating.
