Mapleton Springs

I have stayed here twice — 2019 and again last weekend. The rooms are modern and clean, the grounds are quiet and we were able to make use of the pool and spa on this visit. Rachel the host is super friendly and gave us a tour plus showed us the orphaned wildlife she is currently caring for including koalas and an emu. We saw little wallabies bouncing around from our balcony. There are BBQ facilities as well as items available to purchase onsite (we may have indulged in some chocolate bars and ice cream! ). There is an IGA close by where you can store some items in the mini fridge or cook your own meals by the pool or in the room using a microwave or electric fry pan. Restaurants and cafes were also down the road. National parks for hiking are also super close. On our last night, there was rain forecasted (it didn't end up raining! ) but Rachel kindly offered for me to park my car inside her huge shed in case there was hail. Very happy with our stay once again, thank you!

Had a lovely time, the room was comfortable and clean. Loved the view from the balcony and the pool. Will definitely be back.

What an amazing location, The views are incredible during the day and at night looking out over the mountains lit by the moon and stars it only gets better when you crawl into bed and fall asleep looking up at the stars through the sky light above the bed.
Rachel is such a lovely lady, you feel truly welcome from the moment she greeted us at reception.
Definitely will be coming back.

We chose Mapleton Springs for our 21st Wedding Anniversary. We were extremely happy with our choice. The location was gorgeous and our host Rachel was lovely. The weather for the first day and a half was very rainy and not fit for exploring the area but there was heaps of things to keep us entertained on site. A cinema room, a lounge area with an open fire, tv, ping pong table and board games. There was also a gym with sauna, and an outdoor undercover spa and BBQ area. The fridges and freezer were stocked with ready made meals, snacks, drinks and ice creams. So much choice! When the sun finally came out we were greeted with the most spectacular views and were able to watch sunset and sunrise. To top this off Rachel is a wildlife volunteer who cares for orphaned baby animals. She treated us to a tour and chat about what she does. We met two baby Koalas and 3 baby Kangaroos, so special! We can't thank Rachel enough not only for a great stay but for dedicating her time to care for our native wildlife.

Room was well presented, airy, light and with all the conveniences throughout.
The night was quiet, comfortable and woke well rested.
Gym, swim and breakfast on awaking to the view and local wildlife.
Highly recommended as a quiet place to spend time in the environment with all the high end creatures of a comfort.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we have had the most amazing week.
From the second we checked in everything has been outstanding.
Rachel is super welcoming and is such a great host/owner.
It has clean rooms, is a clean/well looked after environment, has stunning views, amazing service and great communication.
Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking at getting away from it all and relaxing/resetting.

This was our second trip, for our 25th anniversary. We had previously visited 5 years ago for our 20th.
We fell in love with this place immediately, as well as the little town it overlooks. It is the perfect location to go hide from the world for a while. There is little human annoyances; all you hear is the chatter of wildlife and the breeze. At night it's dark enough to see halfway across the universe. The rooms are spacious and feature skylights for plenty of natural light and soundproofing for pin-drop quiet sleep.
Rachel is a gracious and friendly host who is all too happy to speak at length about her volunteer caretaker of rescued wildlife, and even show you the animals under her care — just ask!

Rachael is a wonderful host. Everything was just perfect, it is definitely a credit to her how the property is maintained and her service as a volunteer wild life carer.
It was a pleasure to be up close and personal with the most beautiful baby koalas.

What an absolute gem of a find this place was.
We have found often that when we arrive at a property, it doesn't quite seem as good as in the photos. Mapleton springs was the opposite.

There was not a single thing out of place. Everything was fresh, of great quality, and in perfect working order.
Really cannot recommend this beautiful place enough.
You can tell how much customer experience means to Rachel. She has kept this place in tip top shape (and its a big place) all on her own, as well as looking after and caring for orphaned wildlife. When we stayed, she had 6 baby wallabies and a wee baby koala called forrest. The cutest little thing.
So hats off to this gem of a woman and her property. We will definitely be back very soon!

Recently stayed at this wonderful location (last minute spontaneous thing) and wasn't disappointed. Great on-site amenities in a beautiful, relaxed environment. Even with some wild weather during our stay, you can still make the most of what's on offer on-site or in nearby towns. Would visit again in a heart beat.

We stayed here for a night and it was a perfect place to be. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, accomodation was of a very high standard and the location was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend this place.

Just an amazing retreat. Close to Mapleton town (by car) in quiet rolling hills with a valley view. Base yourself here and explore the region or hide away with the infinty pool and bbq area, spa baths and bird calls. Rooms are spacious and very well appointed with plenty of convenience. Common recreation room with table tennis and a fire place, private movie room with Netflix and Prime. Free wiFi included. Chillax.

What a pleasant surprise, literally breath of fresh air. Lovely area and surroundings, tranquil and unspoiled. Excellent property — room, bed and bedding, bathroom and amenities, clean well appointed and maintained, nicely furnished and beautifully decorated, generously supplied with everything possibly needed, made for pure enjoyment and relaxation. Montville 15 mins down the road is a lovely place, great shops, markets, restaurants, cafes and parks, local culture and atmosphere. Stunning views.

If I could give 10/10 stars I would. I came here with my partner and we were absolutely blown away with how stunning this place is! The room is so cosy, modern and spacious. The view is spectacular! Rachel, the owner is so lovely and was kind enough to show us around. The property is just breathtaking. A 5 minute (yep just 5 minutes) down the road are the local restaurants, IGA and servo along with Montville 10-15min away. We can't wait to come back here 🩷
