Our Family of 3 Really Enjoyed Our Stay — Beautiful Rainforest Views, Great Location close to a national park with breath taking views, close to the Mapleton Tav amd cafes. The Caravan park was so peaceful and the cabin was perfect. Will Definitely Recommend to Friend's and Family.

I always say the best recommendation is whether you would go back — that is a big YES from us. We were lucky enough to win 2 nights in one of the Rainforest Cabins. The cabin was spacious, extremely comfortable with a kitchenette, air con, great size TV, comfortable lounge and bed, good sized fridge and so on. The back porch looked out on the rainforest where I could have sat for hours watching the trees and the wildlife. Just lovely! Not far to great eating places and there are loads of walks and so forth within easy driving distance. Enjoy!

Great staff, great place to stay to explore the mountains and close the beaches too. Cannot speak highly enough of this place. A recharge, a weekend away its a great place to base yourself to explore the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Older style small cabins (some are more recently renovated) that are fine for overnight or a few days. Staying for the second time, and this cabin is newer, but size is still small with bed frame that is too large for the room becoming a trip hazard. This cabin is closer to the road so more noise. Dead batteries in remote control. Towels smell musty. Only a winter doona offered which is way too warm.

We stayed here as it was dog friendly and was advertised as having a creek running alongside, so we thought our dog would be able to swim it, unfortunately there isn't any access into the water so she wasn't able to. Its a 12 minute walk into the village where there are coffee shops a servo and a very good IGA but as we have a british bulldog she isn't able to walk that far in the heat so we we're pretty much stuck at the campsite. The free Wi-Fi advertised is only available at reception not at the sites and 2 of the bbqs are so old and rusty the handle nearly came off one when I opened it. At the other side of the site is a nice bbq and pizza oven though with 2 seating areas. Our site was straight on dirt not a slab which we are used to, which meant the dirt got walked into the van all the time and being in a bush setting make sure you take plenty of mossie spray and surface spray. A good location to base yourself if you are going to be driving around the area all the time but not really suitable if you are in campervan and not great for dogs.

This place is amazing! A beautiful piece of paradise in the hinterlands. The staff are very helpful and have bent over backwards to accommodate us in every way. Very affordable and I would highly recommend a visit.

What a beaut stay! the cabins were so well appointed, with lots of little extras, like mints on your pillows! great value for money, friendly staff who couldn't do enough, even allowing us a late check out free of charge, and when my husband made a joke about some wine too — they delivered! value for money is an understatement. Clean, comfortable, and highly recommend!

My elderly father stayed in the Disability Cabin at Mapleton and found it absolutely perfect for his needs. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly maintained, and the staff were brilliant and friendly. The views are magnificent and it is an easy walk to the shops.

We were told a different price on the phone to what it actually cost, but the actual camp site was really good.

WOW we had a fantastic weekend. What a magic place to stay. Quiet, clean and restful. What more could you ask for. The bed was not too soft, not too hard, just right. To think the place was just off a main road, trees everywhere and so tranquil. Price was very reasonable. Definitely returning to stay longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I couldn't believe the luxurious cabin my family and I stayed in for such a cheap price! Not to mention the magnificent surrounds and the helpful, friendly management. I recommend Mapleton Cabins and Caravan Park to any one seeking comfortable, affordable accommodation in the sunshine coast.

Beware there is a pedophile living in this caravan park by the name of robin Shepard he has previous convictions from victoria and nsw he is slim with long hair and about 62.

My wife and I stayed in one of the cabins, we enjoyed every moment of it. Beautiful scenery surrounding park and lovely caring staff members. A must for anyone looking too explore the Mapleton hinterland in comfort and affordability.

I had a wonderful stay here as did the other 29 people apart of the Navys rugby league team, I am unsure why the other reviewers wrote such nasty things, but in my opinion I did not experience the same problems, with untidy cabins or unfriendly service, and I would say I hold a higher standard of hygiene then most due to defence backround. I highly recommend this place as somewhere to stay, as it is cheap, clean, friendly and close to the sunshine coast.

Extended family all met here for Christmas break, some campers others in cabins. Everyone really happy had a great time. Friendly owners. Clean park. With lots to see and do in the area it was a quiet place to come back too at the end of a busy day. The special Christmas treats left for us in our cabins was a nice surprise also.

Had a lovely stay here recently, spent a whole week in one of their cabins, I could bring my dog with me which was an added bonus. Cabins were well equipped and clean and tidy. Park situated in walking distance to some cute cafes and shops. A much needed break. Highly recommend.

Terrible experience, from the moment we walked in the door of the Cabin. The Cabin was not prepared for new guests Very dirty with significant dust build up around vents, lights and windows. Water container in the fridge was dirty and unhygienic Dirty and unclean wine glasses Stains on the lounge Spare linen was unclean. Based on our experience the accommodations website is misleading. This was booked through Wotif, complaint was formerly lodged for refund complete with photos, however this was not accepted and we received no refund. Very disappointing and costly experience, we would not recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly, Peaceful, Clean, Comfortable, Affordable. Just a few words I would use to describe our stay at Mapleton Cabin and Caravan Park, it definately exceeded our expectations, staff were so welcoming on arrival, our cabin was clean and decked out in beautiful decor and the surroundings of beautiful rainforest made our stay a peaceful and private one. Will definately be returning here, as they offer great deals also. Not sure why other people have complained about flooding we were there over a night where they recieved 200 ml! and there were no flooding issues around the park, we had a bbq the following night which is right by the rainforest and camp sites and it was gorgeous.

Cabins maybe ok, but do keep check on your bookings and inspect first. I do not recommend this place for anyone wanting to camp in camper trailer or tent. Owner does not adhere to bookings and does not care for your safety. Will refuse refunds as well. Will put people in run off areas. Extreme disappointed. Rated extremely poor.
