A beautiful place, immaculately maintained and perfect for a cheeky getaway. The cabin was really lovely and had everything needed. We dined in the restaurant, the food and service were superb. A definite recommendation!

This place is a hidden little treasure. We came to celebrate for our 5th wedding anniversary and the food and service was perfect. They made us feel special by wishing us a happy anniversary and sprinkling love heart confetti on the table and then writing it in chocolate on our dessert plates. But even if they hadn’t done that, the food was outstanding. We had the 3 courses, we were so full by the end but it was so worth it! You guys are doing such a great job!

Very poor would not recommend for a wedding. Path the bride had to walk down filthy. Had to pay in full a month before wedding 20 guests plus bride and groom plus pd for 2 extra which made 24 that was paid for. Then hit us up to pay for 1 extra.
They don’t like to give you an extra towel if needed so consequently I didn’t get a towel and I don’t think you have to explain as to why you need an extra towel.
A smile does not go astray, setting is lovely but that is all that is going for the place. There is a lovely little chapel jus up the road I would go there and the Maleny pub across the road is far more accomodating. Instead of Pomodoras getting all the extra after the meal another business did.

Booked for Fathers Day lunch. Whilst the food was still nice the menu on offer was not the menu advertised on their website. Overheard another customer complaining about this issue to a staff member who made quite a rude reply so didn't bother bringing it up with them but feel that this attitude is not good enough really for a restaurant of this price range.

Food was of a very high standard — beautiful flavours, quality ingredients all perfectly cooked and presented. The location was also fantastic — plenty of parking, nice decor, and a warm inviting ambience. My only piece of criticism would be towards the service. You need to be able to better cater to large parties, especially when bookings are made well in advance. Although the service was very friendly and pleasant, the attentiveness and turnaround times were extremely lacking. There were significant wait times for drink service and food service with wait times for dessert well over 1 hour. Perhaps put an extra staff member on when larger parties are present.

What a lovely, warm, cosy & intimate little gem of a restaurant. We will certainly be back to try some more of that wonderfully unique and interesting menu. The food was amazing and we enjoyed every course of the 3 course Christmas in July menu. Between the 2 of us we devoured all 6 plates on offer. Congratulations to the chef & kitchen and a big thank you to the most gracious, friendly and vibrant Deanne who couldn't do enough to make our visit a most memorable one. Can't wait to come back and try out the cabins.

I checked out the online menu and was all set, knew what I wanted to order. Unfortunately the menu had changed and the online one wasn't updated. From the moment I saw the new menu upto the time the food arrived I was going to give only one star. However from the first bite they were back in five star territory. If you want a magnificent meal in the sunshine coast hinterland, come here!

The main course was absolutely delicious, and the dessert was a wonderful treat. Both courses were presented with care, and the service by the staff was exceptional.

Good service. A little slow when we were there but Saturday lunch was a little busier than normal with our 10-top table. The buffalo burger was very very good. Other meals also were great, according to the flood who has them. Pricey, but overall very good.

Delicious food and great service. Great for gluten free food too! We shared calamari for entree, then the fish of the day (Barra) and chef’s special pork belly. Absolutely delicious and nice and quiet with a beautiful view of the rainforest.

The food here is AMAZING, the view is great and the owners Chris and Jodie are amung the most friendly people you will meet. We only get time to go once a year on our wedding anniversary but they still great us by name every time.

My loving partner surprised me with a early birthday dinner to this lovely intimate restaurant. The atmosphere is just so inviting and welcoming. To the staff that waiter our table thank you for making this night so special. You are all beautiful and I personally will never forget that. To the chefs, wow the presentation of the food was definitely 5 star quality and it was delicious. Both Evan and I highly recommend this place and we will be back.

Such a fantastic restaurant. A beautiful find tucked in to Maleny town. With a beautiful view over Obi Obi Creek, the menu is delicious and great serving size. Very accommodating and they make an extra effort to make your night special.

Really good mushroom risotto, lamb rump not as flavoursome as hoped. Around a good experience.

Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic service and the food has the most amazing flavors.

Great spacious cabins with a great view of the Obi Obi creek. Very helpful host. Only negative is that the cabins rattle whenever there is a little bit of movement. Couples may want to take this into consideration! Highly recommended.

Amazing. We just showed up without booking they were happy to accommodate. Cabins were lovely very modern and the view of trees beautiful. They had thought of everything you need. Relaxing place to get away. Will deffinately go back.

Our waitress Amy was happy and bubbly. Our food was amazing. It was expensive (I don't eat out much) but was generous in portion size and had time between courses to enjoy each other and our surrounds.

Jodi and the team are so helpful with our cabin and our needs for lunch and dinner. Very delicious meals over look the creek. Till next time.

Best Barra meal I have had in a long long time and perfect setting with great service. Totally worth every penny. Will definitely go there again.

I live local and always call in to a local restaurant to hangouts. Thank you for a mouthwatering soup this winter, the main course has a special flavour. I personally like seating on the deck overlooking the historical Obi Creek. Perfect for my lunch and next time I'll come for dinner. Ⓜ

What a fantastic find on our weekend away. A restaurant with lovely ambience and great service. Probably one of the best meals we have had! The care that is taken by the chef really shines through. Our seafood risotto was absolutely delicious with so much tender seafood in it. We loved this place so much we are going back again in the same weekend!

I have been to many restaurants over the years, and still have not found one with both great food, and top friendly staff, like those at Pomodoras Maleny. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a wonderful dining out experience. And ask for one of their Chai Latte's, simply the best…

Fantastic fine dining experience. Awesome refinement of flavours with perfectly cooked ingredients. Service was excellent, providing unique experience even though our booking was last minute. Will definately be back next time we are up at Maleny.

Thoroughly recommended. Even ate the dessert which is usually a no no as most places fail in that department. The steak I and was well rested and cooked spot on. The calamari was tender on the starter and I felt all nostalgic as I kept peeking into the kitchen and remembering when I used to do that 6 days a week, 12 hours a day. Not at Pomodoras though. Other places.

Honestly ignore the last 2 star review, it's clearly uncharacteristic of this venue and maybe bad luck, but most likely a reviewer in a bad mood. The food was simply outstanding. I have eaten at more than my fair share of fine dining restaurants throughout Brisbane and North QLD, and this is the best food experince I've had in Queensland! It's simple and fresh, mastered. You will not be disappointed.

Very slow service. Waited an hour for mains, then almost as long for dessert. Prices are high for what is basically trumped up pub food. The excuse from the staff was "it's Saturday night and busy", but wouldn't you expect them​ to know this & prepare in advance? Don't bother with this one. Try a nice local pub or cafe instead. 服務慢的不得了，東西很貴，可是不是特別好吃，你 (妳) 最好去當地澳洲式pub吃飯，大部分又好吃又便宜，一定比這家餐廳好很多。
